Gossip I have just checked my book and it is 8.5pts for the chicken. Sainsburys are 7 so might be best going for them.

Dilly, It is getting impossible for me to get there. I have no one to watch the boys and I can't take them as it is upstairs with no lift.

Blondes, NOOO Have no noodles!! They were my downfall with DS1. I craved those 10p curry noodles and never realised how bad they were for calories.

Had a Batchelors Slim a Soup in the night as I felt hungry and it was only 1.5pts.

Crap today as I was at School Fete.

Curry tonight but it was all pointable! inc the 2 bottles of wine I shared with Dh!

will be an angel tomorrow til Wed when I get weighed and hope it will be OK!

I was a bit naughty yesterday as I was at a wedding but it actually comes in under points!! I did have lots of salad though so maybe I just didn't eat as much bad food as I thought I did.

I don't think there is a maximum for exercise. I might be wrong though.

i was so bad yesterday, but knew i was going to be iyswim

i drank wine and had a chinese and also crisps

I have banked more than that a week. I do a least 1 5-10 mile walk a week and I get about 15 points for that.

I'm impressed you all seem to do be doing well.

This week has largely been a write off although I had a good day and Sunday was not bad - except if you count getting all of my points from one meal!!!!

But I am back on the wagon completely and have even been to the gym today so that's good. And I've pointed up dinner already and still have a few spare if I want to treat myself to a small glass of wine or a piece of chocolate.

Blondes - I was very good the first four days the week before this one and then bad for three days and I still lost weight. The nice thing about this programme is that it doesn't matter if you have a bad day, you just get up and dust yourself off and try again.

On exercise - my leader says that the thing is that you can't allocate ALL your activity points to food. So if you earn 3 activity points, you shouldn't replace them with 3 points of food. Rather, earn 5 activity points over 2 or 3 days and then you can spend 3 of them at a party that week.

I need to lose 3 stone. I lost 1.5 stone before I had my son but it went back on.. and more.

I'm going to try and swim a couple of times a week and just cut out the rubbish I eat in between meals.

I think I can have 25 points a day.

yesterady i shaved off a few points

40g rice crispies&skim 2.5

ww meal and TONS of veg 3
monster munch 2

salmon meal from sains , with TONS veg 5

snack bar 2

so 14.5 - that MIGHT try and counter balance the pizza, chinese and wine

ooh I am being sooooooo good today (so far!)

Rice K for breakfast 1.5p

Sandwich with salad 3p

apple and 2 satsumas 1p

and lots of diet lemonade.....

will have a ww yog later and a ww bar and hope that sees me through to dinner.

Last night DH and I had a huuuuuge chicken and roasted pepper salad for about 2pts as I only needed to count the chicken.

What's your fave recipe - lets post some here for encouragement. I tried this last night and it was gorg!!!

STIRY FRY CHICKEN WITH CASHEWS
Serves 4 - POINTS 6

Ingrediants
2 teaspoon peanut oil
2 clove garlic, crushed
500 g chicken breast
2 portion stock cube, chicken, dissolved in 300ml hot water
2 tablespoon soy sauce
2 stick celery, trimmed, finely chopped
250 g Amoy Bamboo Shoots, canned, drained
250 g water chestnuts, canned, drained
1 1/2 level tablespoon cornflour
320 g Rice, white, cooked
50 g cashew nuts, roasted

Instructions
Heat oil in a wok or large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook 1 minute. Add chicken and stir-fry for 4 minutes or until brown.

Add 240ml stock, soy sauce, celery, bamboo shoots and water chestnuts and bring to the boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 5 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. Dissolve cornflour in remaining stock. Add cornflour mixture to wok. Simmer, stirring, until sauce thickens. Taste and season with salt and pepper.

Divide rice among dishes. Spoon chicken mixture onto rice and sprinkle with cashews

Finally got of my fat arse last night and joined my local WW. Was shocked to find I have 3 stone to lose just to get to the maximum weight for my height

This will be about the 10th time I've joined WW in the last 20 years and this time I will do it

oooh lost another 1 lb today!!

Bit gutted as I wanted to lose 1.5lb as that would have taken me to a stone! but a pound is pretty good.

Fave recipe is this

Chicken with creme fraiche

Chicken breasts
Veg suitable for roasting inc courgettes, carrots, peppers, punnet cherry tomatoes.

Whack it all in the oven with no cal spray and seasoning. 30mins. Juices from tomatoes smother the chicken. Stir in ww creme fraiche and serve with whatever.

Pts - about 3. tis nutritious and delicious

weighed in and put ½ pound ON!!! Im gutted its the only time Ive put on in 7/8 weeks.

Right Im going for it - lots of exercise for me this weekend.

Oh by the way - my friend has stayed the same for a week or so now and has done lots and lots of exercise but loosing nothing. Any ideas for her??? She is not having all her points allowance do you think this is the problem - under eating????

Sorry forgot to say "welcome Mumover Seas".

You can do it, my advice and what works for me is to plan my meals ahead, do exercise WHEN I can (dont stress if you cant. Plan weekends aswell, plus allow yourself a treat once a week - I do this after weigh in then start a fresh.
