pah - you're a bunch of skinny minnies compared to me LOL

I started WW at 19st 8.5lb

my first week I went upto 20st 1lb

I am now 17.13lb

I want to weigh 12st 7lb - I'm 5ft 10.5" so quite tall - and I'm one of those people that 'wears my weight well' - whatever the hell that means!

I used to be really against telling people how much I weighed cuz it is rather a lot, but I'm ok about saying it because I'm not going to stay this weight for much longer

btw, I maintained this week so no gain

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/05/2009 13:03

height has a lot to do with it as well - my friend weighs less then me, but looks fatter as she is only just over 5ft

agree better to get to the clothes size you want rather than weight

but as i used to be 11, thats why i want to get back to 11 iyswim

weirdly enough, i can still get into 90% of my size 12's, but they are tight - so will look a lot better when im back to 11

dare i say that i brought a top today for tonights party and it was a size 10 - not sure how but looks fab on me

GossipMonger · 31/05/2009 16:37

I got some Curiously cinnamon cereal today.

Any idea on points??

wickedwitchofwestfield · 31/05/2009 19:16

4 points per serving (30g) - got it from here

Kayzr · 31/05/2009 19:18

Gossip that sounds really nice.

This website is great for points.

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/05/2009 20:43

been so good this weekend - went out last night and only had 4G&S and was still in my daily points by 1.5p

today went to pub and drove so had diet coke and had salmon and salad whle mr blonde had a full roast dinner

GossipMonger · 31/05/2009 21:48

oh no!

They are soooooooooo delicious I knew they would be high in points!!

Thought I could have a dbl portion for 4pts and now that will be 8pts!

Thanks for the websites though.

Have been so low on points today.

Cinnamon cereal 8pts

Cod 2pts
couscous 2pts
roasted veg 0pts
Broccoli 0pts
ww yog 1pt
Go ahead bar thing 2pts
ww bar 1.5pts

= 16.5pts

wickedwitchofwestfield · 31/05/2009 22:18

I stayed the same this week, which was a relief!

I took part in the race for life today which I estimate has bought me at least 5.5 activity points

am going to be saintly and eat my actual points this week while doing 3 x of gym so am hoping for a loss of 3.5lb which would take me not only to 2st but also to my 10%

OhBling · 01/06/2009 09:54

Wow, I'm very impressed with everyone.

I continue to find planning is key but... I'm not so good at it. When I plan ahead I inevitably stick easily to my points but the moment I wing it, everything falls apart on me. I went over quite a bit on Friday and Saturday as a result. However, I had some saved from earlier in the week and have earned a few activity points over the week so hopefully am more or less even - I will be super good today and tomorrow ahead of my weigh in.

I weighed 12st 5lb at my first weigh in and want to get down to 10stone. I'm currently a 16 and 10 stone will make me a size 10 - 12. I think I weigh more than I look.

Oh the plus side, I was able to put on a denim skirt on the weekend that although it's one I wear when I'm fatter, I haven't been able to do it up for a while, so progress is being made. And I'm off to gym at lunch time to earn a few more activity points.

OhBling · 01/06/2009 09:55

Wicked - how far was the Race for Life? I'm dead impressed by the way!

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/06/2009 12:30

race for life are normally 5miles - blonde has done a few

am i the only one who dosnt use her gym/exercise points - i just bank/ignore them iykwim

OhBling · 01/06/2009 14:26

My leader says that you can put some activity points towards food if you need to, but that ideally you shouldn't put them all towards food.

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/06/2009 15:11

fab news about the skirt

im measuring myself on friday as would have been on diet for 4weeks

sometimes you dont lose weight, but you do lose cms - so hers hoping .......

i measure hips, waist, top of thigh and arm

dontdillydally · 01/06/2009 22:05

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/06/2009 22:22

dilly- bran flakes for breakie will get you going again

dontdillydally · 01/06/2009 22:35

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/06/2009 22:39

its a long standing joke with dh that i got once every 3 days or so and he goes 3 times a day

but whenever i eat bran flakes - i end up pooing

dontdillydally · 01/06/2009 22:41

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/06/2009 23:02

good luck

Kayzr · 02/06/2009 08:36

I've really struggled this week! I don't even know why, so I am starting again today!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/06/2009 09:46

it happens to us all kayzr - start afresh from today xx

OhBling · 02/06/2009 14:44

If you find breakfast cereal as unappetising as I do (sadly), you can also try a portion of dried fruit every day. I find that helps. Focus on prunes (dates) and apricots for being high fibour. Don't overdo it though.

I have my weigh in tonight. I'm feeling optimistic. I know I've lost weight this week it's just a matter of how much. sadly, Friday and Saturday were very bad so I'm concerned there might not be as much as I'd hoped.

Yesterday, I had an extra half glass of wine - it fit within my points but regret it now as I could have been under yesterday if I hadn't done that.

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/06/2009 14:53

i like breakie cereal -

either 2 weetabix - 2p
30g bran flakes 1.5
50g rice crispies 2.5
oats so simple - golden syrup 2

plus .5 skim for milk

or toast, flora lite and marmite 2 +1+0

OhBling · 02/06/2009 15:05

I can just about weetabix... if I pour sugar on. Might try a compromise in form of weetabix with some honey. It's certainly convenient, and good for you.

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/06/2009 19:02

i always use sweetner on cereal - its too bland otherwise and sweetner is free on ww
