Food diary - care to join me?

In the past I've done various diets, tried all sorts really, but I haven't stuck with anything for more than a couple of weeks in a long time.

I am bored of diets!

I am going to keep a food diary here. Hopefully it will help me see where I am going wrong, and by holding up a mirror to my eating habits, publicly, I will start to eat less/better.

I will be starting tomorrow, but thought I'd give you a heads up if you'd like to join me.

Lunch - Some omelette (shared with DS as doing BLW) plus a small ham sandwich

Snack - half a toasted teacake

Dinner - Fish pie.

Dinner - chicken fahitas, small glass of red wine.

We are all ill here. DH and DD2 off today fighting for the sofa so not sure what today will bring.

I have a really sore throat so will be drinking plenty of honey and lemon.

Dinner: homemade vindaloo, channa dahl , rice and 1/2 small naan bread
Snack : handful peanuts

oooh can i join pleas? starting my healthy eating today (code for diet but that word puts me off from the start) pluss some sit ups every morning a modest 20 to start hoping to work up,
breakfast 2 cups of hot water and lemon 1 coffee 2 rice cakes handfull of dried apricots bannana 1 harbal tea
no sit ups yet though havnt had the time off to do them now

Having a bad day due to a rotten cold and really sore throat so have only really picked today.

Snack - brazil nuts and sultanas, tea

Late lunch - ham on ryvitas, some pasta in tomato sauce and some cherry tomatoes

Dinner - huge pile of cauliflower cheese and custard. (Not together!)

Snack - Caramel bar. Mmm...

Breakfast, Pret a Manger yoghurt breakfast bowl , apple juice.

Late lunch, slice bread, dolamades, stuffed mini peppers, mozzarella, couscous, olives, brie. Chocolate mousse

Dinner. one slice bread and a fig. 2 cubes dark chocolate.

Sounds like you have had a sore throat too wasting

Have been poorly all weekend along with DH and 2 DC's.Only DS has been fit!!

Have just eaten what I fancied when I fancied it.

Still feel pretty rotten but I will try and get back to the healthy eating today.

Breakfast - oatibix, toast and marmalade
Lunch - large roast dinner and cake
Snack - biscuit
Tea - cheese sandwich, crisps, custard

Writing everything down has already made me eat less this week.
I can see that we're not eating as much fruit and veg as we should, so I'll start working on eating more of those.

Saturday
Breakfast, slice of bacon, special K , orange juice
Lunch, 1/2 fish and a pineapple ring. Didn't have chips.
Snack, banana and apple juice
Dinner, channa dahl, veg curry and one slice bread
Eve, bar chocolate.

Sunday, scrambled egg on toast, apple, plum and orange, Orange juice
Ikea donought
Dinner, onion bhaji, gorgonzola and bread, salad banofee muffin
Eve, handful peanuts, few crisps piece of cheese.

We've had a really busy weekend and have been eating on the go alot. Hopefully get back on track this week.

Lunch - Jam sandwich - Before we went to the supermarket!
Dinner - Omelette with shallots, spinach, rocket and watercress salad with tomatoes and walnut oil. Custard!

Lunch, chicken pasta bowl, battenburg cake
Snack bar of chocolate
Dinner, chicken in a bun, piece of cheese. ice cream.

Are you ok Wasting? Hope you have a better day today. I am almost embarrassed to list the junk I ate yesterday. Wrong time of the month and craving chocolate
Breakfast Two slices toast and marmalade, special k and OJ
Lunch didn't really have any ,ate a packet of crisps , a bar of chocolate, a cake , some shortbread, and a penguin!!
Dinner, roast chicken , boiled potatoes, one roast potatoe, brocolli, cauilflower, and 2 yorkshire puddings.
Evening 1/4 of an easter egg.

Dinner - burger and chips at bowling, two Smirnoff Ice

Today
Breakfast - porridge and banana, coffee and OJ
Lunch - chicken soup and bread, custard
Dinner - chicken curry, with bread, and yoghurt

I know this isn't a very thrilling thread for anyone else, but it is actually helping me to look at what I'm eating, and I've lost some weight and started making some adjustments. I wholeheartedly recommend keeping a food diary.

This week I'm going to stop having custard and rice pudding etc. just because DS is!
