Jodie be thankful you didn't put on girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! milli I had a sneaky midweek weigh today and I am the same which NOT happy about as been super good this week after my 3lb increase on last week................

Getting Bored of this now......

who hasn't posted for a while - fivegomad where is she?????

Ceebee74 · 25/02/2009 20:17

jodie sorry you stayed the same - it is so bloody frustrating isn't it??

Like Dozy I have also had a sneaky weigh-in today and it doesn't look good - have really stuck to my calories for the last 2 weeks and the weight is hardly dropping off. Am also getting fed up and frustrated by it.....but I guess that is what this thread is for - to make sure we all keep going.

I think what I find the hardest is that, apart from the gym bunnies without kids I know who are always there, I probably do far more exercise than anyone I know and still I struggle to lose weight....grrrrr! Surely it should be easier than this??? I seem to have hit a plateau already but it seems to early to do this.

Oops

Ceebee74 · 25/02/2009 20:25

Am sat here eating an apple mullerrice as I have quite a few spare calories today - god it is yummy!!

JODIEhadtoomanymincepies · 25/02/2009 20:26

stop weighing yourself in the middle of the week

(I do it too! and I must stop!)

DH just worked out that I ran/walked 2.5 miles today!

Dozymare · 25/02/2009 20:58

go jodie with your walking/running...have you looked at Runners World yet? Great website...also, if you get hooked, it mightbe worth investing in some proper running shoes, really makes a difference....

also have a look at www.mapmyroute.co.uk

It also tells you how far you have run!!! I plan 3/4 runs on this and stick with it.

ceebee This is exactly why we need this thread. I have a question for you, is your thyroid in check??????? The only reason I ask is because I have a massively underactive one, and before going on medication had the metabolism of a 70 year old!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Hence why Tiger was a massive surprise, and why I put on 4 stone so quickly, despite being good at the gym/eating quite healthily) I am now on the right meds, so should be ok. But what you say is ringing true to how I was 2 years ago.

Wish I was having a Muller - am over for today due to no gym (but 1,983 down for the week) will be {angry} if I don't lose!!!

Shall shut up now, waffling

OP posts:
Ceebee74 · 25/02/2009 21:05

Dozy how would I know if my thyroid was wonky? Any other symptoms??

Not sure if that is the case - during both pg's I really relaxed my eating and literally ate anything I fancied - and I never lost the weight I put on between DS1 and DS2 - so it has accumulated.

I have found this with diets before - the first stone seems to drop off easily and then it gets really difficult and this is when I usually get fed up and stop...so I need you ladies to keep me going

Dozymare · 25/02/2009 21:21

tiredness (that can be put down to running after children) dry hair and skin.......a simple blood test will determine whether or not your thyroid is functioning........

btw I also lose 1st stone easily, then get bored/disheartened as it happening now......

Hello, please can I join you again?
Got a bit lost on this, I'm not following WLR but I am trying to lose weight still and TBH I am struggling without the support of the old thread.
As of last Sunday I was 11 9lbs and have lost a total of 12lbs (had lost 13lbs but had a christening with a lovely buffet ).

Ceebee74 · 26/02/2009 08:31

Ladybuzz wow you are doing really well - would be lovely for you to come back and join us!

Dozy I am always tired but definitely don't have dry skin/hair - the exact opposite in fact - oily, spotty and greasy!

I am trying to think in terms of small targets - so my next one is to get under 200 lbs.

JODIEhadtoomanymincepies · 26/02/2009 08:41

Well, no surprise but my AF made an appearance last night! I usually hate having periods, but this time I was relieved as it explained staying the same!

Ladybuzz Well done you on the weight loss so far and welcome back!

Dozy I'll look at that website now. I love lists and results and things, makes me feel in control!

My mum suffers with her thyroids and she's always on at me to get mine checked, infact she mentioned it again last week. I might book a doctos appt to have a 'full service' (Also thinking about the contraceptive injection)

mileniwmffalcon · 26/02/2009 09:30

morning all. happy today, 2lb down and so i bloody should be to be fair, i've made a good effort this week, 1000 under for the week and the last few days i've been feeling pretty hungry. i have no idea how people survive on 1100 cals, i've barely gone under 1500 any day this week.

i nearly recorded a 3lb loss as that's what it looked like (not only do i have dodgy scales i'm also short sighted and first thing when my eyes are fuzzy i really have to squint to see the dial ) but i thought i'd leave myself a lb in hand for next wk iyswim. next week i'm sticking with trying to get extra f&v in (averaged 8/day last week up from 4) but i'm eating every single one of my cals

Dozymare · 26/02/2009 09:31

jodie I am a massive routine/control freak!!!!! we are in good comnpany!! Good news on AF, at least it explains why you stayed the same, I usually put on with AF (Why is it called that ) so you are doing ok!

BUZZ Welcome back lovely!! WLR is very good.

OP posts:
Ceebee74 · 26/02/2009 09:34

Mill well done on losing 2lb - that is fantastic

Lol at Dozy - she is known as the 'routine queen' on our PN thread

I suspect my AF might be due (it has been about 30 days since my last one - although that is the only one I have had since Sam was born so I have no idea what my cycle is) which might explain a lot.

I am also bloated today - my belt definitely feels tighter around my tummy again but I do suffer from IBS so struggle with constipation/bloatedness etc quite a lot.

JODIEhadtoomanymincepies · 26/02/2009 09:44

mil thats brill news, I might try the whole F&V thing. I do try, but am crap at it. I don't eat any fruit in the day, even though we have loads of it in the house for the DS's, but always have Veg or salad with tea. I also need to start drinking loads of water, coz it's been cold and I'm too much of a tight wad to have the heating on I've been drinking tea all day!

Dozymare · 26/02/2009 12:32

Hello all - sorry posted and left earlier, but I X posted with you millfalcon Well done on 2lbs off, that is great news!

Just back from body pump - upped my weights today and really, really felt it. Consequently am STARVING so have made myself a homemade chicken kebab, it's lovely as eating it right now!!

CEEBEE I am sure i am due on as well, its around 30 days since my last AF as well.....

Hi Ceebee , *Dozymare and all you other lovely ladies on here .

Can i come back and join you please?? Have been so busy over the last few weeks and just havnt had time to post.

When i started on FF i was 14st 7lb. Then went onto WLR and am pleased to say that at my weigh in today i was 13st 4lb. I am sooooooooo proud of myself. Cant beleive that ive actually stuck to this. I will never get on the scales again and see it go up to 14+ st. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!

My target is 11st but secretly would prefer to be 10st 7lb.

Ive been reading through the last coupe of posts. Well one everyone!!!

LadyBuzz · 27/02/2009 07:20

Well done missnatalie thats really good going!

FiveGoMadInDorset · 27/02/2009 07:31

Hello all,

Sorry I haven't been on here a while. I got stuck and then started putting on and got down. However AF has now gone and for some reason I have started feeling sick when I eat bread so have cut that out and the weight has dropped back down again so I weighed myself this morning and have lost 8lbs since the start.

I promise I will post more regulalry, we are away next week on a quick trip to go and see DS's Godfather in GErmany.

JODIEhadtoomanymincepies · 27/02/2009 07:52

missnatalie Thats Fab!!! Well done you! and welcome back!

five hello missus, glad to see you back. hope you have a nice time in Germany.

I'm dying to weigh my self but I know I mustn't......... Somebody stop me....

dozy How did you get on today? Has that elusive stone finally gone for good???? (I'm hoping mine does this week, it bloody better had!)

Dozymare · 27/02/2009 08:04

Morning ladies

Miss Nat and Five welcome back!!!

Good news from me - have lost 3lbs this week (so that'll be the 3bs I PUT ON last week) making me 14st 10lb.

Feel great and going to keep on track this week as well. I think what is helping is that in my head, I am only EXPECTING to lose between 1-2lbs a week, normally when I diet i expect to lose a lot more which we all know isn't healthy.

What is everyone up to this weekend???

OP posts:
Dozymare · 27/02/2009 08:06

Sorry Jodie X posted with you!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't do it (although we all know you will ) When is your weigh in day? Hope you get to that magic stone mark as well...is anyone else aiming for that this week??

My total loss is now 1 stone and 1lb.
