Dozy well done That is fab!

I am really struggling this week - not sure why, just not very motivated (I think my birthday on Monday kind of messed me up) so not expecting much tomorrow (staying the same will be a bonus )

I do like the Claire from Steps one so I tend to go between that one and RC Salsacise - tbh, I prefer the salsacise as it is 50 minutes of constant(if low-impact) aerobic work rather than warm-up/aerobic/toning etc - plus it is good as I love latin music and I get to indulge my secret 'dance' passion

Anyway, Claire from Steps is on This Morning in a bit so going to watch the interview in the hope it might give me the kick up the bum I need at the mo!

Running total:

Jodie - 16lbs
Ceebee - 24lbs

Dozymare · 01/05/2009 12:30

13st 13lbs for me - 2lbs of my 2 stone.....total loss therefore of 22lbs.....

WORRIED ABOUT THIS WEEK, (Sorrynot shouting!) GOT LOts of social things on - our anniversary today, dinner at friends tomorrow and then another friends on Sudnay for a bbq piss up.......

eek

LadyBuzz · 01/05/2009 17:08

Dozy well done you! Happy Anniversary by the way

Five hope you are OK.

I've been excersising like mad this week and I am starting to notice the difference (I think) although I don't appear to have lost anything hay ho weigh in isn't til Sunday so there is hope yet

Wil update my running total after this weeks weigh in!

Dozymare · 01/05/2009 19:51

ceebee howe many lbs in a stone it's not 12 is it........

OP posts:
Ceebee74 · 01/05/2009 20:15

Dozy mmmm no..... There are 14 lbs in a stone!

Dozymare · 01/05/2009 20:17

do you know ceebee a few months ago I was asking this, I have a real mental block as for some reason think there is 12lbs to a stone!! So ys, you are right, I have lost a grand total of 26lbs!!!!!

Speaking of which, is there anyway we can amend WLR to take into account the weight we lost prior to joining up???? It frustrates me (and confuses me!) that I can't see a "real" RUNNING TOTAL!!!

Am on 3rd glass wine, DH is stuck on train, I am all glammed up an'all

OP posts:
Ceebee74 · 01/05/2009 20:21

Dozy I forgot to say Happy Anniversary - where are you off to? What glamorous (small) clothes are you wearing?

I get frustrated that I can't input what I lost before I started WLR - I just have to remember but it is not the same as seeing it in black and white is it?

Just had yummy halloumi cheese and homemade coleslaw with peanuts in a pitta bread (and 2 glasses of wine )

FiveGoMadInDorset · 01/05/2009 20:26

Happy Anniversary Dozy he will be back soon, are you going anywhere nice?

The stickys are the threads at the top of the main board with offers, they stay there and don't move (currently two) for the big offers that MN do.

Well done on all your losses as well and well done for double classes.

I am definitely going to try to up my exercise levels, I have Ulysses on my ipod which i walk the dog to so want to crack on with that.

Ceebee74 · 02/05/2009 07:21

Dozy did you have a nice night?

Well, eating my own body weight in chocolate and cake on Monday obviously did the trick as, by some miracle, I lost 2lbs this week - apart from Monday, I have been pretty much over every day aswell - surely dieting shouldn't be this mind-boggling??

Anyway, puts my total weight loss at just 2lbs under 2 stone so that would be 22 lbs 26 lbs

JODIEwantsanewname · 02/05/2009 07:48

Dozy Hope you had a good night

Ceebee Well done on that! It really doesn't make much sense does it!

I took your lead Five (Kind of) and I went to the docs yesterday with Sam and he was being so nice (the doc, not Sam!) and I just broke down everything just came on op of me, I had a letter saying that I wasn't eligible for Job Seekers as I was self employed and didn't qualify I still haven't managed to get a job , I can't seem to shift much weight and feel fat and frumpy, and the boys were both playing me up all day (you know the days when you just end up shouting and saying NO all the time) anyway, he was so lovely and said that it didn't seem like I was depressed, but maybe just highly stressed, so he's made me promise to do 30 mins of excersise 5 times a week, (on my own, rather than at the gym to clear my head) to boost that feel good feeling, and to see him again in a week. I feel so much better for talking to someone 'impartial' IYKWIM, I wish I'd done it sooner

Hope everyone is OK today, we are off to a wedding, I hope the sun keeps shining!

FiveGoMadInDorset · 02/05/2009 07:50

Have a lovely day and glad you feel better for talking, sometimes life just gets to you and you do need someone else to sound of on. Your Doc sounds very sympathetic.

Ceebee74 · 02/05/2009 20:44

Jodie glad your GP was so sympathetic - but it often takes one kind word from someone to open up the floodgates doesn't it? Hope you feel better soon

Jodie/Dozy I need your advice....the only decent class on at the gym on Monday morning is a BC one (this is the first bank holiday that the gym have not had a BA class on ). I have never done it before and tbh, I am very nervous about doing it, mainly because it is SO far out of my comfort zone. Anyway, please come and convince me (before Monday morning) as to why I should do it instead of pottering round the gym (And Dozy, the thought of Chesney is halfway to persuading me to go )

missnatalie · 02/05/2009 22:13

Ive lost 2lb this week which puts me at 12st 7lb. A total loss of 28lb so far. Now in sie 14s (bottoms) and 12s (top) Ive changed my target weight from 11st to 10st as i know ill be happier there and look much better. Should reach my target by mid Sept. Its TOTM and am craving chocolate so am having a celebratary bar of Dairy Milk to celebrate my 2st loss.

Well done to everyone on your loss. Can you beleive that were actually sticking to this. I NEVER stick to diets but this time i have and am so glad.

Did you watch Claire on This Morning ceebee is it just me or did she look a little more plumper than wha she does in the DVD . She still looked fav though.

Ooohhh only another 8lb and ill be in the 11st something area . Cant wait!!

Have a fab bank holiday ladies

JODIEwantsanewname · 02/05/2009 23:11

Well done Miss N thats fab news!

Ceebee DO IT, it's so fab, and yes, the chesney warm up is good!!! (the tracks we use at the gym include Status Quo, Pink and Johnny Be Good, are they the same as yours Dozy?) The new tracks are very good

Dozymare · 03/05/2009 07:14

missnat well done you!! That is amazing! I think you are the first to get to a 2 stone loss as well!! I am hoping for that this week although the fact I am already over by 2450 cals is making it look very,. very doubtful!

Yes everyone, true to form I have been a greedy piggy since 3lb loss weigh in on Friday.....Was our anniversary and have quite literally stuffed a box of chocs, a couple of bottles of wine, lots of creamy sauces at Italian restuarant, half a Gu choc pudding last night and lots of BBQ stuff.

Today out with friends for lunch and more drink.

BUT am going running with a running club this morning am absolutely bricking it and will update you all later. I am so nervous and have visions of them sending out a search party I am that slooooow. Eek!

ceebee BC is either something you love or hate. If you are very co-ordinated and quite dancy (IYSWIM) you will be fine, but if you prefer non dancy classes, you will probably hate it! I convinced a friend to come with me (who is super fit) and she absolutely HATED it! You will deffo laugh at the chesney warm up! Yes, jodie I think we do the same routines!

Five how are you doing????? Have yu started taking the tablets yet????? any side effects???
