Morning all, I put 2lbs back on this week no great shock though as I have been eating for England this week!
I'm really going to buckle down now and try hard this week.
I'm going to start measuring aswell I did try my dress on last week and have gone from being a good three inches away from it meeting to being able to fasten it - Yay!
Its not comfortable but it is fastened. I do have until June to get it to fit properly.
Unfortunately I do not seem to be losing ANYTHING off my bust, have gone up another cup size and am really struggling to get anything to fit .

Heres to a good week for all of us!

FiveGoMadInDorset · 23/03/2009 10:35

Morning all, amazingly have had a good weekend, it is now TOTM so have lost the water gain and have been really careful what I eat, having said that have just had a big breakfast as having a tooth out so I know I won't want a huge amount of food later.

Ceebee weight does plateau and sometimes it takes a while to drop some more but you haven't put any on.

dozy take it easy and I hope that you get and answert soon.

Dozymare · 24/03/2009 09:45

I can't stop eating chocolate. I really, really can't...

JODIEwantsanewname · 24/03/2009 10:16

Dozy, I think under the circs you can allow yourself a little pleasure!

missnatalie · 24/03/2009 12:29

Afternoon everyone.

ceebee i agree with dozy on the measuring. The more we measure the more inch loss.

Ladybuzz dont beat yourself up about the 2lb gain. We all have our bad weeks. Just be exra careful this week.

Dozy me too. I just want to eat everything chocolate.

Im starting to struggle now. Im down to 1216 cal. Ive got no energy and am so tired. Its doest help that im getting hardly any sleep at night. DS is teething so hes up most of the night. Im feeling drained.

Jodie i started the diet on 21st Jan and lost 21lbs so far

I have a little confession to make. Ive been cheating . Well not really but now and again. Every couple of weeks i have a treat day and we go out for a meal. Usually chinese buffet. I dont count anything and eat as much as i wont. But........once ive eaten it ive been taking 3 x Lipobind tablets. There a fat binder so instead of my body absorbing it all, i poop most of it out . They must work as i havnt been gaining and trust me on my naughty treat days i eat loads!!

JODIEwantsanewname · 26/03/2009 08:15

Hi all, we are going very quiet in here, please dont desert me in my time of need!

Weigh day yesterday and I only put on 0.25lbs, which was amazing as it's my TOTM and I ate like a (small) piggy while my mum was here, although I did keep up with my running!

I ran for 5 mins straight yesterday might not seem like alot to some of you, but it's a bloody miracle for me!

dozy how are you feeling now?

Missn Do those tablets have any side effects? Where did you get them, they sound too good to be true...

How is everyone else getting on?

Ceebee74 · 26/03/2009 08:27

Morning everyone - I noticed it had gone quiet here aswell!

Jodie 0.25lbs isn't really a gain is it?? I would have that as staying the same

Nat not sure about those tablets but I am very dubious about such things anyway and would be worried about any side-effects - can see how it would be tempting though!

Not much going on here - the weather is stopping me walking DS1 to nursery so I am really having to watch what I eat!

But I finally packed all my maternity clothes away yesterday - I now fit into enough of my old clothes to not need to wear them anymore and I am so glad I will never need them again!!!

missnatalie · 26/03/2009 11:11

I bought them from Boots but did loads of research on them first. I took 2-3 after a meal and was ok, no side affects. However i once took 4 after a meal and was constipated for 48hrs and then did the biggest pooh ever . I read that some people get constipated, some have diorea and others are just the same. They must have worked for me as i was well over my allowance but still lost lbs. Im not making it too much of a habit though. Just for my treat days .

Dozymare · 26/03/2009 13:21

I am quiet because I am eating chocolate

Went for a run this morning in the pouring rain, was dire....hated it. weigh in day tomorrow and can guarantee a +!

We all need to re-group and re-focus don't we????

I too have packed away all my mat.clothes....and actually not feeling too bad about how i am looking....this is very dangerous territory for me..................

OP posts:
Ceebee74 · 26/03/2009 16:05

Dozy the scales may surprise you tomorrow - and even if it is a gain, you lost so much the week before, you will still be below what you were before you were ill iyswim.

Dangerous territory - why? Is it because you are happy so will fall off the wagon?

Although I am happy that I am pretty much back to my pre-pg weight (give or take a few pounds), I wasn't happy with that before DS2 came along and I am definitely not happy about it now - I need to be able to go into a shop and pick up some size 14 trousers and know they will fit comfortably - that is my goal!

Dozymare · 27/03/2009 08:09

Morning all - stayed the same today, which is a miracle as have really been eating lots of chocolate. Plus, only managed a feeble rum this week as still don't feel myself IYSWIM.

Good luck everyon else who is weighing in this week!

I am in dangerous territory as I am also back at pre pregnancy weight and all my nice clothes fit, but you are right, I need to focus on the fact I wasn't happy before I got PG so will keep on pushing through.

For the record, I am aiming for a 2lb loss this week, taking me to bang on 14 stone.......there, I said it, now gotta deliver!

FiveGoMadInDorset · 27/03/2009 09:26

2.5lbs here

Well done DOzy

Ceebee74 · 27/03/2009 09:57

Well done to Dozy and Five

Ceebee74 · 27/03/2009 15:23

I have been reading some of the threads on the WLR forum and there is one from a woman who decided she was going to do WLR for 12 weeks regardless of what the scales said - and then compare her before and after.

I have decided that is what I need to do - have been doing it for 12 weeks now and lost 20lbs. I have 24 weeks before I am back at work and ideally would like to shift a further 40lbs before then (so in an ideal world that is perfect)...so I am just going to commit to doing it for another 12 weeks and try not to stress about the scales

And that is my sermon over for the day

missnatalie · 27/03/2009 20:02

12st 13lb this week. 1lb loss

Having a treat day today

So far ive eaten:
Porridge Oats
2 x slices of DPs very fattening pizza. I could have eaten the lot but for some reason i just didnt want to. Pre dieting i would have polished off the whole pizza
3/4 of garlic bread bagette
1/2 bag of large cadburys buttons
1/2 easter egg.

Was going to have a take away too but im stuffed.

Think ill save it for tomorrow

Dozymare · 28/03/2009 09:01

well done everyone!!

ceebee does that mean you are not going to weekly weigh in??? Psychologically, I have to do that otherwise I fall off the wagon.

OP posts:
Dozymare · 28/03/2009 09:03

PS what is everyone's loss to date? Shall we add up and see..............

Dozymare - Start 15st 11lbs now 14 stone 2lb total loss: 1 stone 9lbs since 6th Jan.

OP posts:
Ceebee74 · 28/03/2009 12:58

Well a loss of 1 lb here this week - not great but am trying not to stress.

Dozy I will still be weighing I think unless I get DH to put the scales in the loft/garage (the 2 places in the house that I will not venture) - haven't quite decided what to do yet as I get so down when I haven't lost anything or not losing much that I might feel better if I just didn't weigh myself - does that make sense.

But am seeing today as the end of one chapter and the start of the next.....

Anyway, to add to Dozy's stats:

Dozymare - Start 15st 11lbs now 14 stone 2lb total loss: 1 stone 9lbs since 6th Jan.
Ceebee - start 15st 10lbs, now 14 stone 5lb. Total loss: 1 stone 6lbs since 6th Jan.

Dozymare · 28/03/2009 15:47

ceebee you are doing so, so well, please don't lose heart, a 1lb off is so much better than a 1lb on. Just think, you have done it without a hospital stay!!!!!!

How is your Dh doing??

We have lost a 5 year old between us!

OP posts:
Dozymare · 28/03/2009 15:47

also ceebee please, please measure yourself, that is also a great incentive!

OP posts:
JODIEwantsanewname · 28/03/2009 17:22

Ive had such a crap weekend diet wise. Gone well over my allowance on Fri & Sat. Had chinese take away, pizza, garlic bread, 1.5 easter eggs, more chocolate, the list goes on. Was very good yesterday though. Was under and went for a long walk after dinner. The funny thing is that ive had a sneaky peak on the scales today and im exactly the same weight taht i was last week . How is this possible?? Ive also got this hughe craving for chocolate. I cant stop eating the stuff. Have sent DP to work with a bag full of chocolate and biscuits etc so that i cant get my chops into them

Having looked at the statistics, I have realised that I am not doing that badly at all I have lost similar amounts to most of you so that is great - made me feel much more positive.

Unfortunately I am one of these 'want it now' kind of people so struggle to see the long-term progress sometimes.

Just had a fresh custard slice - god it was nice! And only 275 calories

Been to the hairdressers today and she couldn't believe that I was eating chocolate most days and still having a bottle of wine every week!
