For all those using Nintendos' little marvel to help slim down!

My mum got me this for Christmas, and when I go up on it today, it'll be my fifth day . I aim for 30 mins a day but at the minute I'm happy with around 15 at a minimum. Need to start building it up, I want to lose 2-3 stone, taking me to 9st or 8st if I can do it. (Can you tell I've not got kids yet!). Hopefully I can do it, come and join me!

Well i got the wii out of the box, its fantastic.

I decided to go at it despite the passersby looking in but that resolve weakened when a work van pulled up outside so I shut the curtains

Apparently I'm crap at everything but I had alot of fun and I'm a bit sore now so it must have done something.

Hi I also had one for Christmas, I have done 2 hours so far, I love the hula - even though I couldn't walk the morning after I first tried it! I was sooo stiff. I also love the step, especially as I have unlocked the higher level and the boxing made me sweat.

I go to the gym so this is an extra at home and I like it because it's fun and the kids join in.

It's great that it keeps a record of your weight and activity level not sure about the wii fit age as I alternate between 33 and 56, real age 35.

Keep up the good work.

Just done 30 mins . Age today was 43, seems to vary as to which balance tests I'm given , some seem easier than others. Now have super hulahoop and got to 300 on my right. Step is good fun but am worried about impacting my ankle. Have even tried some yoga.

I have done 45 mins this afternoon but most of that was the balance exercises and trying to beat DH's scores I have just done 10 mins jogging and trying to keep up with DH has damn near killed me

I just got a Wii Fit for Xmas. Only problem is that we also got Family Ski and I am spending all my time skiing, not jogging. Somehow don't think the calorie burn is as good .

Anyway my Wii Fit age is the same as my real age so thats good. My BMI is 29 so thats bad. I've set myself a goal to lose 1 stone, 6lbs.

I've only done about 12mins of aerobic stuff on it today. I find te jogging hard work which is odd as I run 5k 3x a week in the "real world". I can run over an hour non-stop, but on the Wii iit seems like 3 mins kills me. Will have to try iy with traienrs and see if thats better. Maybe its harder running on the spot than going forward?

I find it difficult running on the spot too, I did it in my trainers last night and it was much better. Still don't understand how I seem to have been putting far more effort into it than dh but he still beat me my a mile though

You can only use the board in oen player mode on Family Ski , to change direction by switching weight. So good for timed races but not as sociable. Using remotes/nunchucks you can get up to 4 skiing together.

I did about 30mins today then it told me to have a rest so I did

My co-ordination on the step thing is crap but apparently I have strong legs when I do the lunges

I am completely addicted, absolutely love it.

I found the running really hard too, will try trainers tommorrow.

I finally got back on and it told me it was 81 days since my last visit! Worse still it told me that I had gained 5lb's. Giving me a total weight of 12st 4 and a wii fit age of 32 - am 40. I feel all the more inspired to loose the weight now and managed 45 mins today.

I'm on TOTM at the minute so not going to do too much stretching etc...but will use treadmill etc instead. I still like Wii Fit but it fluctuates so much it's crazy...

Hi everyone, i was using my Wii Fit to weigh myself before xmas but didnt find it very reliable. I weighed myself pre exercise then had a drink of water, re weighed myself and i had gained 4lbs . The readings were always different on different parts of my carpet. I bought myself some scales and found that i was 6lbs lighter than what the Wii was telling me, no matter where i put it on the carpet.
