hi everyone..
had my weigh in tonight and have lost 5lbs!!!
am thrilled tho i know its prob just fluid as am just startin out again but am nevertheless thrilled wit myself..
still stickin with the 20pts as it seems to be etched onto my brain but do tend to slacken off programme over weekend and prob eat close to 30pts so maybe it balances out?

Dior, know only too well how easy it is to fall off the wagon, its taken me 7lbs gain since xmas and 4 mths to get back into it,
your doin so well and are always helpful to everyone on this thread, you WILL get back into it, your bound to get days or weeks sometime when you go off track, everyone does, but try to visualise yourself at your goal again and get it into your head that YOU CAN DO IT, YOU CAN DO IT YOU CAN DO IT....

your dh sounds very supportive when it comes to your weight loss/body image, so listen to him. i think it probably takes a lot to realise that you are no longer fat once you have lost weight - have you tried looking at some old and then recent photos of yourself?

this'll make you laugh - dp's dad brought some photos round the other day spaning the last 7-8 months. I was looking at one of me and i thought "im sure i didnt have that top whilst i was rpegnant" and then i realised that it was taken 1 month ago!! oh, how disgusted i am with myslef!!

Yipee i lost 5 1/2 lb!!!! I am sooo chuffed with myself. It is going to be hard this week as i have to make cakes for a charity stall, and do enjoy licking the bowl out! And i was very naughty last night - i was making tea, something cheesey, and whilst the cheese was on the chopping board i kept cutting wedges off and eating it! PIG! I was so disgusted with myself i didn't have the glass of wine i had been promising myself all week.

Feeling a bit better....had a really bad week with dh. Not getting on very well, he was given a week off work and we clashed, big time! But through it all I only gave into temptation once and then made up for it with cutting down during the week.
Just will have to wait and see how I get on on Wed.

here is a hint... I have discovered the weight loss secret!!! Forget you have a drink of soft drink in your freezer( ie Coke) and it will invariably explode ( I only put it in to cool down for dinner - and promptly forgot about it!!) Making a big hole in the back of the freezer wall...

Dh was most impressed... I just cried A) had to clean up the mess and B) know we can't really afford a new fridge.

fridge is turned off - food needs to be chucked and new fridge won't be here until tomorrow!!! All the junky food that has lurked in the fridge and been a temptation is gone!! Can start stocking fridge afresh.

Very pleased with myself though too - went to a friend's place for morning tea - had a white chocolate mud cake on offer.. I decided not to totally resist NOR did I do my usual - have a big piece and worry about it later... simply had a very small sliver and was content with that. pleased with my somewhat restraint!!

ah dior, you've done so well, and you will NOT be up 2 stone on thurs! that is such a huge achivement.. be proud of yourself, stand back and give yourself a pat on the back will ya! and stop beating yourself up for a few bad weeks! focus on the good weeks you've had, and how it made you feel.....

fairycakes · 12/04/2005 20:15

oh eidsvold, how awful - yet like you said, kind of good in a way - every cloud has a silver lining and all that!!

white chocolate mud cake, what on earth is that? it sounds delish....!!!

very rich yummy cake... heavy moist white chocolate taste cake - yummy icing too - my sliver was less than a centimetre wide..

good news - fridge fixed - not as bad as first though although junk food still gone!!

weigh in tonight - not sure how I have gone - probably up.. not been tracking very carefully this week although not stuffing my face with all the wrong food either.
