i would like to lose about 2 1/2 stones..
the problem i have is i never seem to be full even when ive eaten soup for starter then a no point veg chilli with lots of rice then an apple etc..

also should i be eating the 28 points per day for breast feeding or just stick to the 20 its says i would normally have?

thought it would be so easy to lose the excess weight gained in pregnancy!!!!!! im in it for the long haul i expect.

I am doing WW too.
I am a lifetime member and have been going on and off for 15 years now.
I have never been really overweight but I find I put on weight very easily if I don't watch what I eat.
Start weight this time 66.7kgs (um, roughly 10 and a half stone)
Current weight 62kgs
Target 59kgs (about 9st 4oz)
I am 5'7"

I find the single best tip is to track EVERYTHING I eat ... even bad stuff ....

Good luck everyone.

ah, words of wisdom from dior - i think you should also write for their magazine, sometimes i think you know more about weight watches than the leader i had when i actually went to meetings!!

its funny the gym - i always dread going and dont want to go (have been known to drive around the car park 3 times then drive straight home!) but once im there, i feel great - usually when i have finished i feel like i could do it all over again! when i used to go 5 days a week, ialways used to go swimming after - it wasa great way to cool down and i felt energised and ready to do it after the gym, and what a great way to earn even more bonus points!

not sure about breast feeding there but I am doing ww and am fully breastfeeding babe - I get 32 points a day - they suggest increasing your calcium ( dairy) intake and proteins.

Can't remember starting weight as I started and lost just over 2 stone then fell pregnant with dd2.

Started again after dd2 was born and have lost another stone... ( ahem except for last week - supposedly put on a kilo) and choc easter eggs are calling me... my weakness!! SO need to up the exercise.

Hi again, I've been away to my parents for the weekend - Easter is a pain for the whole eating thing. My mother, although she knows I am on WW gave me a lindt chocolate bunny and now it is looking at me and saying eat me!! I'm going to hold out till DP is back from work and then make him eat the whole thing. Dior I wonder if no matter how long you watch your weight the desire to eat when sad will ever go away - at least it was snack a jacks and bagels not mountains of ice cream, biscuits and cake. Need to behave till weigh in on Thurs - how much no point stuff is too much? I hadn't realised that this could have a negative effect.

Hi Dior, Just always been boring old ark I am afraid. What you are saying about the vegetables makes sense - should stick with the old everything in moderation mantra I think. I am trying to up the exercise, swimming a couple of times a week - but need to think of something else I will enjoy (not th gym) - any ideas?

back from ww meeting and weigh in and I lost 1.3kg this week. I really notice the weeks dd2 is fully breastfed compared to those when I am out and dh gives her formual - even though I modify my points!!

SLowly but surely getting there - still have a lot to go but am more than halfway to my first 10 kg.

Will try the walking, I ended up walking 2 miles home last night after swim as no bus! and i was getting just as wet waiting! And you are right it did give me a buzz - perhaps I need to stop seeing walking as a way of getting somewhere and as fun in itself.

I have no idea! When I missed going for four weeks due to ds being ill, I stuffed my face, and lost a pound!

I'd put on 4 pounds between that weighin (wednesday) and saturday... but I'd eaten barely anything!

OK, here's my stats
start weight 13st6 (mid Jan)
current weight 12st 1.5
goal weight 10st - it's top of the scale for 5'3" but when I did it last time I was a standard size 12 which suits me.
Been doing NoCount, but found weight loss has slowed down over the last month, previous 3 weeks did loads (& I mean loads) of exercise, (spent 12 hours hard digging in the garden 1 week) and lost 0.5lb a week, spent last week drinking red wine & eating chocolate & lost 1lb - think I might have invented a new diet
