Weighed in yesterday for my first week of WW no count. Whoa, I lost 4 pounds! I know I can't keep that pace and probably shouldn't anyway, but it has definitely encouraged me. I am down to 9st12 now.

I ate this meal twice last week and loved it:

1 aubergine
1 capsicum pepper
1 courgette
Quick-cook pasta corkscrew noodles
ready made low fat fresh pasta sauce
(I used a spicy one from Tesco)

I sliced the veggies and roasted on a non-stick tray with cooking spray. Boil the noodles. In a shallow bowl I spooned the veggies and the noodles, then poured the sauce over the top. I added a shaving of parmesan cheese so I had to declare that for my weekly points.

Yummy....

Well after being really good all week I only managed to lose 0.5lb. Staying positive though and I'm confident all my hard work will show on the next weigh in

loobywoof · 08/07/2005 17:06

Weighed in at Boots and was horrified to be the same weight as last week!! Don't know if I'm making excuses but was wearing much heavier clothes and shoes than last week as it was a chilly day. I'm trying not to feel demotivated. Away next week but only in UK so will be keeping my appointment with the scales in the local Boots!

If your looking for a low point desert try this quick and simple idea.

half a tin of John West apples slices (0.5 points) warmed in the microwave for 2.5 mins. Pour a pot of muller light vanilla yogurt (1.5 points) over the apples. Makes a large sweet treat for very little points and only takes a couple of minutes to make

Do I send like a ww leader? True though!

Brighteyes · 11/07/2005 18:24

ark sorry to hear you've been effected by the dreadful events in London. Stay positive and dont allow it to effect the great achievement you've made with your weight loss

fifilala · 11/07/2005 22:27

lost just a pound on first wekk - but i was camping for three days (+++alcohol)but I was good with my meals stuck with chicken/pots and salad at the pub whilst everyone else tucked into steak nd kidney pies etc!!! Will have to keep going and aim for bit better loss this week - holidays in 8 weeks!

ark · 12/07/2005 09:53

Thanks bright eyes - well done f on your loss. Gym today for me got to work out before thurs. Got a bbq tonight which is good but praying nobody offers choc ices around AFTER!

PeachyClair · 12/07/2005 20:18

First meeting today, loads easier than I expected! Everyone really friendly and I think this no count lark might just work... fingers crossed!

tomkitty · 12/07/2005 20:25

Thanks for your encouragement Dior.

Looby, have you been exercising? Maybe there was a bit of muscle gain balancing a fat loss.

Well done fifi.

Ark, your commute must be nerve-wracking. I am not working right now so don't have to take the tube. You are brave. I have been worrying about my DH, who is also being brave.

This week we went to 2 baby 1st birthday parties and I ate 2 pieces of cake. They were small. Other than that I have followed the no count diet. Again I have no faith as it allowed me to eat a med size box of Special K so long as I had milk with it.

Brighteyes, thanks for the apple dessert recipe. Does anybody know how many points the Muellerlite lemon cheesecake yogurt has? It's yummy.

Hi all,
ark.. you poor thing, dreadful experience to go through, keep positive though eh!
well done to all on loss,,
had to skip weigh in last week so really dont know how im doing at all, have had good days and not so good days..
hurt my leg yesterday at work and am on crutches as a result.. comfort ate last night, was in awful pain and it helped a little,
my weigh in is thurs night so have to be so so good between now and then to at least maintain..

tomkitty · 13/07/2005 09:33

Linny you will need to learn to balance because those crutches might add a few ounces

My cereal was over the course of the week!

mummyof3 · 13/07/2005 13:49

Hi everyone, i managed to lose 1lb last week, and was just 1lb away from my 2 stone total - but it was dd's christening on sunday so i ate drank and was very merry, and have found it really hard to get back on track. My scales tell me i have put on 4lb, so i take back everything i said about eating what i liked when i go on holiday dior!
I am not too bothered about the weight gain as i deserve it, but i am kicking myself as i want ed to have lost 2 stone by the time i go on holiday - 2 weeks. Oh well, such is life. Thankfully there is nothing nice to eat in the house any more, dh and i have munched our way through the lot!

Brighteyes · 14/07/2005 09:23

Had my weigh-in yesterday and lost 3.5lbs . Thats a total of 7.5lb in 3 weeks.

I'm going to Italy in 8 weeks for a family wedding and would love to lose another stone by then. Do you think this would be achieveable?

ark · 14/07/2005 14:26

golly well done what a loss! I am sure you can really go for loosing a stone but be careful coz the quicker ot comes off the quicker it goes on! Anoying !

Alright for me as itr has taken me 6 months to loose one and a half stone finally got my 3rd silver seven today.

I am going to cut down on my drinking.

PeachyClair · 14/07/2005 16:37

fee77- Are you sure you're not retaining water in the heat? I can eat for England, wales and the rest of the globe put together- but 4lbs in one Christening?

fee77 · 15/07/2005 08:50

Unfortunately i have been picking all week! You know the score - making a choclate cheesecake and just popping the odd chunk in my mouth, making cheese sarnies and nibbling as i go!
It is supposed to be my weigh in today, but i am not going. DD hasn't surfaced yet and we are supposed to be off for a picnic, so i just can't fit it in - and i am obviously in denial! I have warned dh that all meals will be low point this week - i have weighed my self here and i reckon i put 3 lbs on, so i have a week to shift it.
