Tabs what is the sweet potato and spinach curry recipe, it sounds delicious.

Tabs · 20/05/2005 17:57

I was afraid someone might ask this! It's in the free foods recipe book (the big white one), but I gave my book away last weekend to someone who liked my barbecue food so much that she wanted to make some of it (skinny thing she is too!). Nevermind thought I, I'll get another one on Tuesday, but then my consultant didn't have any left - aarrrgggh - love that book!

She's got some more on order, so I'll post it up as soon as they arrive, unless anyone else has the book and can post in the mean time?

You'll probably find that last week's still works - it usually does. Failing that, this weeks is something we could go to the gym to increase, beginning with f

marj · 23/05/2005 13:43

I am off to weigh tonight and am not really hoping for great things as I have not had a brilliant week. Had a horrible cold so ate what I fancied and not what I should have!

fairydust · 23/05/2005 19:46

lost 4 1/2

Tabs · 23/05/2005 19:51

Blimey - is that 12.5lbs in just 3 weeks for you then - that's brilliant?! Have you got a lot to lose?

You know your body better than the consultant (i hope!!) is it likely to be fluid or is she just trying to make you feel better?? Sometimes my consultant appears to not have a brain, and comes out with the most ridiculous pile of cr*p you've ever heard, all in an attempt to make you feel more positive. It doesn't work.

Just half a pound off tonight, but we had a different consultant who admits that here scales weight about 1/2lb heavier than our usual ones. And it was enough to get my 2 1/2 stone award .
And nothing would have bothered me tonight after finding out today that I'm pregnant .

fairydust · 25/05/2005 08:26

congart on the 2 1/2 stone award and an even bigger congrat on the pregnancey

Arabica · 25/05/2005 10:37

Wow, everyone is doing so well. Congratulations to Tabs, how wonderful. Are you going to keep going to group?
Sorry to hear about your little gain Yorkiegirl, but please don't let it knock your confidence. The successful slimmers I talk to all say they are quickly able to put bad weeks quickly behind them and concentrate on eating well for the next week. As opposed to what I usually do--get a gain completely out of proportion and eat way too much for the next 2 days or so!
I'm not sure how I have done as didn't make it to group last night. Going to pop into a difft group tonight and get weighed in there instead. I'd actually like to be a member of this other group I think--the consultant is (a) slim and therefore an inspiration; and (b) very clued-up about SW. Neither of which applies to my usual consultant!
