Juicing - two days in and I am still not hungry!

I decided last week to start juicing after seeing my cousin who had lost a stone in 3 weeks!! I only want to lose half a stone after the excesses of the summer so I thought starting off with a diet comprising vegetable and fruit juice might be interesting (as well as challenging).

So I bought a Juicemaster book (7lb in 7 days) and started juicing yesterday. Today I worked out to one of my DVDs for an hour and have just returned from the park with my DTS. I'm still not hungry!!

I have been drinking fresh juices, which are absolutely delicious as well as exhilerating and I feel fabulous. I plan to do this until Saturday so it will be interesting to see if Jason Vale's promise that you will not feel hungry at all holds true.

Was wondering if anybody else had tried this regime?

I didnt think juicing would work. However i started juicing for 7 days. The first 3 days were awful, and i was starving. I am now on day 6 and feel great. I have lost weight and my skin is glowing it has given me the boost i need.

How are you getting on with the Turbo Charge Plan?

I decided to juice for breakfast, have butternut squash soup for lunch and chicken salad for dinner last week and lost 4lb even though it was not my intention to lose anymore weight!

Also, have been doing lots of exercise like running and weight training.

IS THERE A CERTAIN BOOK FOR THIS AS WOULD LOVE TO LOSE SOME WEIGHT

spokette · 12/06/2009 11:15

Benandalex

I started with the 7lb in 7 days by Jason Vale (I actually lost 8lbs!) and then moved onto the Juice Master - Turbo charge your life in 14 days.

I have stabilised which is what I wanted at this stage. We are on holiday at the end of the month so if I can stablise now and then stay at a steady weight over the holiday, I will lose weight again when I come back.

I have been having juice for breakfast, pittas for lunch and then chicken/fish with veg/salad. However, today has definitely been an 'airport' day and I have had a cheese and ham ciabatta for lunch. I have to say, it was yummy . As Jason says though, I really wanted one and wasn't going to have a 'CAN'T' over it. I don't regret it and will be back on track for the rest of the day :-).

Hi everyone. Desperately want to loose 1/4 a stone, possibly a bit more. I thought about this diet a while ago but never brought the book, where can i get it from?

How do you feel when doing it? Im not sure I can handle feeling awful! Can you really loose 7lbs in 7 days?

hermykne · 19/06/2009 13:22

npg1 , i lost 13lbs when i did it a year ago, now at least half of that is watyer retention. i dont care what anyone says if you lose 6/8/10 it is water retention. to shift fat you gotta change your dietary lifestyle and incorporate serious exercise to your routine.

JV is v good at giving that trubo boost but its short term. i occasionally do it but 2/3 days maybe after a weekend of too many heavy meals. i have the real weight off that i lost ( 4lbs creeps back v quickly afterwards) so do it but take it on board as a 6 month programme for healthy weight loss
