Hi ladies,
Well my shoulders are killing me this morning. All those pressups yesterday nearly finished me off! Eating going OK though I went to friend and fellow Mnetter's house for lunch and she had made the most AMAZING bread with camembert and red onions in the middle. It was fab and I gorged myself on it! Still, was good rest of the day, so hopefully damage won't be too terrible.

Going to take kids for big yomp acroos fields later, and try for 100 situps, 50 press ups again. Should really get on the wii fit again, but I don't want to get on it until I weight less than I did before cos it tells you off!

Fanella · 31/07/2008 08:30

I fell off the wagon a bit yesterday - had a training day at work and the very helpful life coach woman had supplied lots of choccy bars which I'm afraid I didn't manage to resist. Lunch was quite good - just had salad and a sandwich and I did drink lots of water.

More salad for tea, but then went to the cinema and had a ben and jerrys ice cream.

And no exercise as I was out last night and didn't get a chance to walk the dog.

So all in all not the best day, but I will make up for it today. Honest.

dillinger · 31/07/2008 09:20

Well I had fish and chips last night Couldnt help it Ive been wanting them for aaagggesss. Didnt do my sit ups this morning as had a fair bit of backache (my weak spot) plus had to get up at 5.30am as dp left at 6.30 for the course.

On the plus side I walked for half hour this morning to take ds to nursery, and will do the same again later when I pick him up.

I am having a bottle of wine tonight and try to relax, or I'll be continuously (sp?) checking the doors all night. Im gonna lock myself in, pour a glass and watch the Mighty Boosh. Yum!

Fimbles5 · 31/07/2008 09:46

Sheik - Came across you on another thread, and desperately need your help. Please, please can I join you all. Would love to lose 7lbs by end of August too, but will admit at the moment having a major problem with binge eating. Will diet for 2-3 days only to blow in on day 4 by eating anything I can lay my hands on. HELP needed. I need your positive attitude to help me out, you comments and inspiration are amazing.

SheikYerbouti · 31/07/2008 10:26

well, dillinger - don;'t worry. as long as you don;t fo it all of the time, then it won't make a difference. Yes your weightloss might slow a bit, but overall it will continue. Enjoy your wine!

Same goes for the rest of you who think you have had a bad couple of days. Just be good today. What is done is done - don;t try and compensate today - just eat healthily and do the requisite amount of exercise. I have spenty my whole life beating myself up aboyt eating crap, and all I have got from it is an odd relationship with food and an extra 4 stone which wants to stay where it is (not for long,m I hope!)

Fimble - I am similar you you. I can contive wth a diet for a week. I get to Friday night, I think "oh Bollocks" then I eat me (hige) bodyweight in chocolate and then because I have done that, I think sod it and continue that was for the next 2 or 3 days. Have you got something else you can do when you are tempted to binge? why not treat yourself to a bath or to doing your nails instead when you get a bit of quiet time? Much better for your self esteem and your tummy!

I really do know how hard it is. I have had to fight the urge for a binge this week a couple of times. It's so easy to give in to isn't it?

This morning, I have done some work and 40 mins on my wii fit (with help from DS1 ) I can feel stuff improving a bit already and my arms are feeling a bit more tned from swimming the last couple of days. I'm going to go swimmimg next on Saturday. Please will you all make me go because I am likely to be hungover (have work drinks do on Friday)

Freestep, sheik. You set it up on wii, then switch to Tv and just keep stepping - up to 1000? maybe? No fancy steps (though I do like the proper step programmes as well), just on and off, swapping legs from time to time.

How do you avoid the urge to binge?? I have just been to a friends and had a wonderful lunch, but am now home thinking what can I eat. I am not even hungry so why do I feel I must raid every cupboard?

Would it be wrong to say I have no idea? - At the moment I am...
definately not hungry
I'm not really bored as I have things that I could be doing to occupy myself (i.e. about to commence a large pile of ironing).
I do have PMT so am feeling a tad niggly and am stressed as kids are hot and bothered and although have had my full attention all morning, do not seem capable of amusing themselves for half an hour whilst I catch up with the ironing. Whinge over!!

Very strange - But I'll swap your day for mine, I have eaten way too much. Might try the journal idea, at least I can see if any patterns emerge. Thanks for the support when I needed it. Its nice to know someone is listening.

Hello - everyone seems to be doing really well. I have been following Scottish Slimmers Booster Plan since Monday and exercised 30 - 60 mins each day and drinking my water and green tea.
Had my slip up last night though - yes, wine (full bottle), it was the anniversary of a bereavement and I was just feeling a bit low so trying not to be too hard on myself about it. Resulted in the munchies too (biscuits) but I had been really good all day and completed a full hour "power workout" so hopefully won't have had too much impact.

Actually quite looking forward to weigh-in tomorrow.

Cappuccino · 01/08/2008 14:05

well I am doing crap

just thought I'd pop in and tell you

I will be better I must be better

PinkButterfly · 01/08/2008 14:37

I am sure you are not doing crap Capp. Your posts sound like you are doing just fine to me. Think we can all be a bit too hard on ourselves when we slip a bit. Obviously we all want to lose the weight but we have to live a little too. Fingers crossed for us all at weigh-in tomorrow. PB
