I want to be a size 12 by Chrimbo

And then eventually an 8.

But I need motivating.

I have been farting about on a diet for the last 3 weeks, but I keep cheating. Keep me on the straight and narrow, and in return, I can offer swift kicks up the harris for all of you what need it

No, I don't get hangovers.
I can drink wine like it's water, I'll easily drink tow bottles a night with no real effect and I have to do that for three or four days before I get any form of hangover, even then it's just that I feel a bit tired and yucky, which goes by dinner time.

Sputnik · 13/08/2008 14:21

I totally don't go for the "hungry baby" myth. I had the world's fastest growing baby, and he was exclusively bf for 6 months.

So, Stormy, can't advise on the bra front, but if you go on figleaves there are reviews. What are you using atm, duct tape?

ooh yes i am staying with the bf for as long as she wants, hopefully. hv wanted me to give her baby rice , but she is just having a growth spurt and i would rather introduce a last feed formula bottle than wean just now.

dh said today my tummy looks good

VictorianSqualor · 13/08/2008 14:58

Storm, The only thing that stops me is my shop closing at 7pm

scorpio1 · 13/08/2008 14:59

I'm having wine tonight, i have decided.

Jahan · 13/08/2008 20:42

Check out Fitday.com for free calorie counter journal and weight graphs/reports etc.
Its American so you have to play around with some foods but its quite good.

i keep really high cocoa dark choc i nthe house, then one square or 2 is enough.

Dyspraxia is ok, VS. They still enjoy things, R gets confidence in other ways - he is very good at sport, but not so great in school. So we arrange lots of sport things for him to do, and praise him alot on school stuff.

Hope you are ok. You have my email if you wonder anything.

I am seriously loving that fitday site, all the graphs and pie charts apeal to my inner geek.

Actually when I lost weight after my first baby I signed up for e-diets and found the little weight loss graph a powerful motivator, hopefully that will work again. I also have high hopes for the food diary, it has already stopped me snacking today, as I realise I only have x number of calories for the rest of the day.

VS, have some chocolate if you think you can limit yourself to just a bit.

Jahan · 14/08/2008 17:13

I'm really getting into fitday too. It's brilliant.
It worked out that I can have around 1490 cals a day to get me to my 6 week target loss.

I agree with you Sputnik. Its motivating. I've had 1,076 cals today so have opted to snack on a nectarine rather than a biscuit before dinner

Well done VS.

I had that exact same thought Stormy. But when I think about it what I eat at mealtimes is actually fine, and even programmed snacking. It's the toast and peanut butter blowouts (for eg), or weekend cakes and ice creams or wine pushing me over the edge. I then have seletive amnesia about that.

If I make myself write it all down hopefully that'll make it less "acceptable"

Anyway the good news is I still have room for a greek yogurt and honey in my food budget tonight
