I want to be a size 12 by Chrimbo

And then eventually an 8.

But I need motivating.

I have been farting about on a diet for the last 3 weeks, but I keep cheating. Keep me on the straight and narrow, and in return, I can offer swift kicks up the harris for all of you what need it

I you have the self discipline you can eat 30g or so chocolate. I did it for a while but then started pigging out on the whole bar, so have given up buying it.

With the exercise, apart from the obvious pram pushing DVDs are good with small babies, I keep meaning to get this which loks good, and offers workouts of varying lengths

Thanks

I know a 10 sounds small, but having been a 6/8 my (so far) adult life i am anxious to get back, and feel very self-concious as i am now.

I thought about getting a couple of dvds to do, and a skipping rope (DH says this is good). Millie hates her pram lol, was going to go out today but she is growth-spurting and im having a nightmare day. My other dc are 6 & 3 and would probably like a walk down to the park etc everyday.

scorpio1 · 04/08/2008 13:47

Ok, will check with HV who is coming out in next day or 2 to help me with BF, will refrain until then

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Can my exercise just be walking round the garden for the last fifteen minutes trying to get the teething monster from hell to get a MOMENTS SLEEP!
K Thanx.

ChicLaFraek · 04/08/2008 18:12

oh bugger, i ddint exercise today.

still, i expended a fair bit of energy in a pmt fuelled total patience failure with ds1 today, hwo was being, um, challenging

might see if i can slip out and do it now, but it might be only 10 m, sorry miss. i'll work hard for the 10 tho [honest face]

scorpio1 · 04/08/2008 19:48

i didnt do any exercise today either, have had v bad day. will start tomorrow i promise

Though have been fab with eating

dillinger · 04/08/2008 20:12

Havent done any tonight, have had quite a day - ds (2.7) was ill this morning, then this afternoon decided to launch himself down the stairs and cut his head open so Ive spent the afternoon in a+e! Poor thing. The amount of blood was scary!

Dd (18 weeks) is having a growth spurt too so is now waking in the night. Consequently Im feeling tired all the time. I need to rethink when I can fit things in properly as now its august I need to start reading for my course in september. I have a book list as long as my arm. I think Im going to take it easy tonight though, I'll prob have an early one.

Walking tomorrow though as taking dd to be weighed so at least thats something.

MissConduct · 04/08/2008 21:40

Poor you dillinger (+your ds too), those trips to A&E can be very scary, especially with cuts to their heads or faces as there's so much blood! I think they're tougher than we think though

Well I did 20 mins walking today which is the first time i've actually done any exercise this week (sorry sheik!). Foodwise good, but i've used all my points today (old weight watchers fiend)and am feeling deprived and sorry for myself...sob..so decided to get Mning, well it keeps your hands busy

Scorpio1, I know what u mean about not feeling right when you always used to be a certain size. It's only since my second dc that i've gone over 9st and it seems mre of a struggle now to get back there or maybe Ive just got greedier?

SheikYerbouti · 05/08/2008 08:15

Dillinger, hope your DS is OK (you should have popped in for a cuppa, I am about 5 mins walk from a&e)

Well......
I was BAD yesterday

I did 40 mins on wii fit, but then had chips for tea. They weren't even nice. I am feeling bloated and horrid this morning now. (horrid greasy chips+IBS= Urgh)

PLUS DS1 (whoiis 3.8, ffs) woke up 4 times last night, so I have had no sleep

And now the weather is shithouse.

I am not feeling motivated if I am honest.

Kick me up the arse

Consider yourself kicked young lady...

I did a 45 minute walk last night, off to cinema tonight so won't have chance to do any but will make up for it on wednesday with 40mins on the cross trainer.

DS1 (3) was stung by a wasp yesterday whilst playing in his cushion 'den' in the lounge (1st time) never heard him cry so much, I was trying to calm him down whilst searching the net for quick cures which included vinegar and the inside of a banana skin, he wouldn't let me put anything on him though. I think 10ml of medised helped in the end

fanella · 05/08/2008 08:38

You'll do better today - you'd better

I want a wii fit but can't afford it

dillinger - sorry about ds, hope he's feeling better today.

Anyway, I had a fairly good day food and exercise wise yesterday - which is amazing considering I was completely peed off at work and almost walked out due to crappy and incompetant management. Something like that would normally have had me heading for the biscuit barrel and/or bottle of bud but I refrained and went out for a long walk instead.

VictorianSqualor · 05/08/2008 08:44

I had chips for tea too sheiky, I could not be arsed to cook anything decent, I had only eaten about 5 fork fulls of noodles off DD's lunch and had a slice of toast for brekkie though so it wasn't like I'd eaten much, should make more effort to eat healthy rather than a little, and my darling DS also decided last night was the night to party.
HOURLY feeds, he hasn't one hourly feeds EVER. ARGH.
I shall try to get 15 minutes on ym bike today, but with DD's friend from hell coming for the day I may have to split it into 3X5 minutes sessions.

scorpio1 · 05/08/2008 10:29

Dillinger - i feel your pain. my dd 15 weeks is growth spurting too. Last night was the best night for a week, she used to go 9-7 but has been waking twice a night and feeding in the day non-stop

I had a bottle of beer last night, but this diet thing i am loosely following allows you a drink OR a treat. Just trying to eat better all round really.

Had small nat yog and banana for breakfast.

dillinger · 05/08/2008 10:38

I need an arse kicking too, didnt walk as weather so crap (I really need a waterproof coat) but Im not doing badly on the food front however Im still wanting fish and chips really badly, its odd cos I usually just cook from scratch and dont 'fancy' anything like that. But lately I do

Ds is fine and dandy this morning, Sheik if Id have known that Id have come-a-knocking lol

This is really the crappest diet/exercise thread/group in the world isn't it?

YET WE ARE STILL LOSING WEIGHT

We should start a cult, and sell lots of books.

dillinger · 05/08/2008 11:22

Pmsl

Lifts my moods though which is something lol 'went for a 5 mile run but then had chips and a mcflurry. Oh yeah an a bottle of wine' etc At least you dont feel too scrutinised to admit that youve ballsed up a bit

VictorianSqualor · 05/08/2008 11:54

A bottle of wine? This is the lush thread, at least two bottles or 9 pints of stella or you're a weakling

scorpio1 · 05/08/2008 12:00

dillinger · 05/08/2008 12:55
