I want to be a size 12 by Chrimbo

And then eventually an 8.

But I need motivating.

I have been farting about on a diet for the last 3 weeks, but I keep cheating. Keep me on the straight and narrow, and in return, I can offer swift kicks up the harris for all of you what need it

Missed your post Hobnob - well done.

Sputnik - my scales went on blink too. Purchased a new set of Weight Watchers ones from Argos just over a week ago reduced from £30 to £15 and they are fab - programmable and tell you bmi, b/fat, b/water etc - would highly recommend them!

PB

SheikYerbouti · 02/08/2008 12:21

Hobnob -3lbs
Cappy -1lb
Sheiky -5lbs
PinkButterfly -4lbs
Stormy -2lbs

Well done Stormy - 2lbs is good. If you did that every week you would lose 104lbs in a year. That's 7 stone 6lbs.

I've lost 2lbs without even exercising (just cutting out crap) I really should exercise.

MissConduct · 02/08/2008 13:27

You are all doing so well!

I am, however, in the throes of pmt and currently eyeing up the strawberry splits in the freezer...surely one wouldn't hurt?

kick up the arse anyone?

Fanella · 02/08/2008 13:47

I am so reluctant to post this now after all your amazing achievements.

I haven't lost anything. and

BUT,

It is AF time so I'm consoling myself with the fact that maybe I'm a bit heavier because of that.

I've been out for a long walk today (almost 2 hours), eaten well and had lots of water.

Still a bit miffed though I must admit. Thought I'd lose something..

Ooh I'm feeling all competitive now after those lists
Will have to get weighed somehow.

MisConduct, step away from the freezer! It's never just 1, is it?

SheikYerbouti · 02/08/2008 14:18

Fanella - panic not.

I bet you have lost inches.

My weight always goes up slightly druning the visit of the monthy curse - it's probably all wter. I bet you will get a pleasant surpise next wekk,

Stick with it mate

Im the same as t'other day, but have had a fair bit of crap this week. Im prob having wine again tonight But sod it its saturday lol

Im not doing the cross trainer on a weekend, I work a 5 day week havent measured myself either.

On the plus side Im doing well food-wise today, and will prob be walking around town/bristol tomorrow.

HumphreyPillow · 02/08/2008 15:19

surprised to be 2lbs down from last week - as I've injured my ankle, and have been lolling about on the sofa since Sunday night.

Can't reach the chocolate though, so perhaps that's why!

fanella · 02/08/2008 17:07

Thanks Sheiky - I haven't measured myself so will go and do that forthwith. And I will definitely stick with it - I've come this far - and I'm not ever going back to the way I was.

Like Storm said - no weight gained this week so I'm still kind of heading the right way.

40th do tonight! But I will try to be good.

Forgot to say big congrats to everyone who's lost this week.

Have a lovely evening everyone!

Fimbles5 · 02/08/2008 19:46

Hi all - Only joined you on Thursday, so will update you at your next weigh in hopefully with a loss. You all have done truly amazing this week and have proved an inspiration to me. So far so good haven't really done much exercise so must sort this out, but have been staying within my points and feel better already. Just hope I don't ruin it this evening (pringles and wine look so tempting). Any suggestions as to what I can have instead would be appreciated.

Thanks Stormy, I have just got myself a glass of water . I can't claim to be hungry though as DD, DH and I just polished off a very large melon in 1 go.

I have been inspired now by this thread and have decided no more alcohol until I go on holiday in september. I had cut down a lot already but decided I can happily live without it. It does nothing for my tiredness either.

Now 11st1. Want to be 10st3 (or less)

still going for 7lbs off by aug 29th. Might try cutting crabs a bit - i hate it but it does work miracles!
