Toadette - there's a curry booklet in this months magazine if you are venturing to the shops today.

sticktoit · 05/09/2008 10:59

Hey all!

Made the meatballs last night. Not bad but I cooked them in the oven and they took longer and I think I put in a little too much garlic.....?

I have a wii-fit which really is good but don't go on it nearly enough. My little mii went all chubby when I first weighed on it! It's getting thinner now though !

All this talk of Christmas has raised my stress levels just ever so slightly!!

toadette · 05/09/2008 11:08

Thanks, pinkjenny, is it the aug/sept issue or is there a new one out?

Will have to dust off our wii fit and get back into it again, my mii must be feeling very neglected!

Pinkjenny · 05/09/2008 11:15

It's the brand new issue, sorry, it's at home, not sure which month it is, but I only bought it yesterday.

babyjjbaby · 05/09/2008 11:17

Cheers for posting recipe, babyjjbaby

It's so grey, wet and cold here today (think summer is over before it began!) that I'm craving comfort-y type foods, curries, stews and casseroles. Yum.....

I've found it not too bad so far today, have done a GREEN day. Fruit and yoghurt for breakfast, baked beans on 1 slice of wholemeal toast (HEb) and cheese (HEa) for lunch. One syn for the butter on the toast, and one HEb to use for the chicken in tonight's dinner. If I stick to fruit for snacks and make that syn-free with loads of rice then I'll have managed on 1 syn, yayyyy!!!!

3andnomore · 05/09/2008 13:11

toadette...good luck on your 10K run....am exhausted just thinking about it, lol!

babyjjbaby · 05/09/2008 13:22

i am gonna do pasta tinned toamtoes garlic mushrooms onions and mixed herbs for lunch and blens some for baby and freeze it i just want to eat loads of food today

3andnomore · 05/09/2008 13:25

not a bad thing Baby...our consultant always says..those that eat the most loose the most

toadette · 05/09/2008 13:30

Might brave the rain and go to shops before school run, I love it when new SW mag is out. The real-life weight loss stories are fantastic motivators.

Like your consultant's saying, 3anm! That's what I love about the SW plan, you can eat and eat while you slim

3andnomore · 05/09/2008 13:52

yes

Toadette you asked about Curry recipes...there are some lovely Curryrecipes in the 100 saucy secret cookbook....and you can adapt them depending if you do green or red...

Out of all the sw cookbooks that I have got that one is my favourite....and it is only £2.95 ( I think...)

SWlurker · 05/09/2008 14:10

Right, RIGHT MONDAY, I will start SW properly to the plan etc on MONDAY. This week is all messed up - I hasn't planned ahead so have synned up to my eyeballs, and got a posh meal/drinks with work tonight and some other stuff planned which makes this weekend not the best to be back on track.

I still struggle over weekends. I need to ditch my chocolate cravings and get back to low syn alcohol - I will take a trip to the supermarket this weekend and stock up on my fave free foods, and that will include a tup of options hot choc, so hopefully I can battle the choc cravings with a mug of that, not a 100g bar of dairymilk

Does anybody else do anything at home to remind them to stick to the diet? I might make a food diary type wall planner to remind me that snacking on cheese and chocolate is not the best of ideas

3andnomore · 05/09/2008 14:24

hm...the only thing I do to keep me oon track is writing everything I eat down...because it does help avoiding falling into food traps...in my experience....because, either it will stop me eating somehtiing in the first place or it makes me realise the syn value of what ever little thing I would otehrwise just pop into my mouth and forget about

toadette · 05/09/2008 14:26

Will have a look for that book at class next week, 3anm.

SWlurker, enjoy your meal out and make sure you're back on Monday to start back on good 'ol SW!! I need another re-starter to keep me motivated.

sticktoit · 05/09/2008 15:40

toadette - I love it when the new mags come out too - I have actually subscribed to it. How totally sad am I

babyjjbaby · 05/09/2008 17:06
