Well done Mammya but it's not only a pound - it's another pound (good grief - i'm starting to sound like my consultant!)
I didn't have pancakes either because I have been trying really hard to stick to the plan this week.
We had a team meeting this morning that started at 10am and finshed at 10 past 1 (bl**dy ridiculous) I successfully managed to avoid the biscuits - I took loads of fruit with me and munched my way through that - I also had a litre of water throughout the meeting so I am quite pleased with myself today.

Hi everyone. I haven't been around much lately, been a bit fed up! You all seem to be doing so well! It's my w.i. tomorrow and lets just say i'm not hopeful and leave it at that! I am considering getting an exercise dvd to do at home. What do you think??

marj · 09/02/2005 19:35

Well done to everyone who has lost weight this week. I look forward to the day when I can squeeze back into a pair of size 16 jeans!
I am having a better week this week after a half pound gain on Saturday so am hoping to get that back off again.
Keep going everybody!!

BethAndHerBrood · 09/02/2005 19:37

Does anybody know if the mullerlight yoghurts are still on offer in tescos? If not, anywhere else??

marj · 09/02/2005 19:39

Not sure about Tescos. They were 3 for £1 in Sainsburys when I went in there the other day.

marj · 09/02/2005 19:39

Have you tried the lemon cheesecake one - yum!!

Demented · 09/02/2005 19:51

Beth&Brood, I think the Mullerlights are on a so many for so much deal at Tesco (think it might be 6 for £2.??, very helpful I am ), three for £1.08 at ASDA and Iceland. An exercise video is a great idea, exercise makes a big difference, if you can try and make it to a class having someone shout at you is always helpful.

When I lost weight after having DS1 my Mum told me I would never be a size 12, just didn't have the bone structure for it, I always had been a big girl and probably always would be, I happily stopped at a size 14 (had been a 14 all my adult life and being tall don't look too bad at a 14). This time however I gave myself permission to be a 12 (if that makes any sense) and I am a large 12/small 14 who now wants to be a small to medium 12, who could on the odd occasion fit into a large 10 for the occasional ego boost .

hi beth, whats up? how u doing?

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 09/02/2005 21:29

Hi ladies. Went to my weigh-in this evening. Lost 0.5lbs. I'm a bit relieved. I thought that my luck would run out. I'm convinced that if I had been weighed this morning it would have been 1lb ah well. So that's 4 in total. At least it's going in the right direction. Half term next week, so I'm hoping that all the running around with the kids will help. I'm feeling enthused by Yorkie's jeans and have decided that it's time to drop a jeans size. That's my first goal. Also it's my birthday in April so if I could lose a minimum of a stone I'll treat myself to something new to wear. I would go for a new haircut, but that's a bit difficult as I have a shaved head lol.

Hey Beth, long time no post. All will be well honey.

Evesmama · 09/02/2005 21:41

so thats how you lost 0.5lb[smile..you shaved your head!!!!!!!!!!

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 09/02/2005 21:58

Yup!!! Don't know how to "cheat" next week though lol. Suggestions....

BethAndHerBrood · 09/02/2005 22:12

Thanks everybody! You make me feel happy! And that can only be a good thing!!

Yorkie well done !!!! Fabulous feeling. I have just discovered I have good legs!!!!!!!!!!!

coppertop · 10/02/2005 08:42

Hurray! Another pound lost. Well, technically it was 2lbs lost but as I'd put 1lb on midweek (the birthday cake finally caught up with me ) it's officially a loss of 1lb. Woohoo!

Fennel · 10/02/2005 10:14

no loss for me this week. am not very surprised have not been motivated, lots of sick kids and on half term too so no respite.

was cheered up this morning by discovering a large box of All Gold chocolate left over from christmas and forgotten. clearly I should not eat them but I am going to anyway....

BethAndHerBrood · 10/02/2005 12:25

Lost 2 pounds this week!!!! Am very happy about this, as you can probably tell!!! Was fed up after last week but now feel more motivated again!! Good luck to eveyone else, and roll on size 16 jeans!!!!

I am soooooo fed up. Have just been to weigh in and have gained half a pound. I have been really good this week. My friend thinks it may be because I had a bad week last week and still lost and that it's maybe a bit of catch up - what do others think?
I'm trying hard to resist the urge to go and eat crap. I know I've lost inches cos I measure myself. Also crabby cos our consultant left a couple of weeks ago and we've been getting relief ones - went in tonight and took one look at the consultant and wanted to turn and walk straight out again. Cannot stand this woman - she constantly belittles people and is very sarcastic - needless to say I did not stay to class!
Oh well tomorrow is another day - I'm not giving up!
