I'll join in please. I'm in my mid-60s and short (5ft 2ins / 1.57m).
TL:DR - fat and frumpy. Want to lose a lot of weight - probably around 4stone / 25.4kg. Referred by GP to weight management and wellness programmes, so hoping for good progress.

At my heaviest, in January last year, I was 16st 9lbs / 105.5kg / BMI 42.9. I am so ashamed to even write that down, but I need accountability, so there it is. By the beginning of September I was only down to 16st 1lb / 1.02kg / BMI 41.4.
Then in September I was really unwell, and couldn't eat for about three weeks, so weight did start to come off. That was my kick start and when I had recovered and regained my appetite, I started calorie counting, and I am now at 14st 4lbs / 90.7kg / BMI 36.8. Still shockingly high numbers, but heading in the right direction.
I don't know what weight to aim for, so I'm going to judge it by my clothes and how I feel when I look in the mirror (currently, I feel repulsed!). I started off wearing size 24 jeans, and I have just bought new jeans in a size 20, and they feel almost a bit loose, so that is encouraging.
I asked my GP if there was a dietician attached to the practice as the nutracheck app had me at 1400 calories a day, but when I went onto a TDEE checker, it was suggesting 2100 a day, and I didn't know what I should be aiming for. The GP has referred me to their weight management programme and also to the lifestyle programme - I have my first session of 12 on Tuesday next week. 15 minutes talk about different areas of wellness, followed by a 45 minute low-impact circuit class. Hopefully after 12 weeks I will have shifted some of the bulk and will feel more confident about potentially joining a gym.
Looking forward to being able to give, as well as receive, support from this thread and other posters.
