Setting this thread up now in preparation for the New Year.

Over the last couple of years I have managed to lose 4.5 stone going from 15st 9 to 11 stone 2. My final goal is 10 stone.

I am 5"3 and I am 41. Weight loss has definitely slowed down, but I am determined to keep going and hope that 2026 will be the year I finally reach my target!

I losely follow intermittent fasting and am going to try and be more consistent with my exercise next year.

Anyone is welcome to join me 😊

I am 7lb up since my December 24th weigh in. It has been lots of booze and shit food though so will see how it is by Friday x

I was back down to 11st 1.5lbs this morning. I have been really focused since the New Year and have actually had time to go to the gym!

@ErmThisOne hopefully a temporary gain that will quickly come off again.

Hi. I'll join please for accountability. Weighed in at SW this morning. 5lb on. I'm at target but have gone over by 2lb so need to lose at least 3lb by next Saturday. Also trying dry january to see if that helps.

We’ve had a weekend away so I will do my weigh in tomorrow and daily again as per, but I am giving myself 2 weeks to get the back to the Christmas Eve weigh in. 89 days until the holiday and I don’t think I will get to 10st but aiming for 10st 7. X

Sounds like a sensible goal @ErmThisOne 😊 at this point I just want to see a 10 on the scales! Even if it's 10st 13.75lbs!

Well today was 11.8.75!!! But, my mantra stands. It took 2 weeks to get here, so I will give it 2 weeks to get back. It’s all alcohol and chocolate!

It will soon be gone. We've all been there, I know I have! The main thing is you're back on it 🙂 so many times in the past, a weight gain would lead to throwing in the towel. I'm trying to teach myself to acknowledge and accept blips/gains but ultimately write it off and keep moving forward.

Yeah I am not letting it fester. I did have a stupid lunch today though, 300 cals more than usual but I think that’s because it’s first day back and I have been used to feeding the face.

Feeding the face 🤣 yeah I came back from the gym and gorged on the toad in the hole and roast potatoes my husband had cooked! Can't turn that down can I!? 🙈

I love toad on the hole.

Chicken casserole yesterday which meant loads of bread. DH is making beef stew today which also means bread!

Loads of chocolate to get rid of and today’s scales are 11.9.

Starting to feel all
my hard work last year has been wasted.

Wednesday weigh in- 1.5lbs down 😊

Although slightly frustrated because I have been fluctuating between 11st 1 and 11st 1.5 for the last 5 days. Every morning hoping to drop a bit but alas the scales haven't moved.

I recognise that this is me being impatient and a way too number obessed but still! 🙄

I am in a much better place than I expected I would be after Christmas so need to remember the bigger picture really! 🤪

Went back to work on Monday, but have been trying really hard to maintain more consistent exercise. (Last year this was pretty hit and miss!). I had a fitness watch for Christmas and as a minimum I have been maintaining my step count streak. I've been having lovely evening walks with my boys which is definitely a bonus. And we had great fun in the dusting of snow yesterday.

Anyway...onwards and downwards 🤞🤞

Goal Weight: 10 stone

07/01/26: 11st 1.5lbs

Bought myself a smart scale, will see if it encourages new habits 🤞

Todays weigh in was 11.7.25, new scales are more accurate though so no longer going to be in quarter pounds.

I did weigh after I set them up so it’s recorded a higher weight for today. I’ll delete it before tomorrow’s morning weigh in.

@ErmThisOne ooh fancy. Which one did you buy? What makes it "smart"? What extra features does it have? I still have my weight watchers ones from years ago. It does measure body fat, body water, bmi, bone density etc but I always forget to use the extra features.

Eufy P2. This is my dashboard, it might motivate me, it might not. I’ll reset it in the morning though as I want morning recordings otherwise it will show a bigger loss than it should.

😂😂 I’ve just done my daily weigh in. Happy that it’s come down since Monday by 3lb, that surely means the Christmas binge is leaving. Another week to get as close to my pre Christmas weight as possible. The only thing I’ve noticed is that it’s about half a pound out compared to my old scales but I’ll take it as I know not all scales can be accurate. I may mess about with some weights later to see which were closest.
