Anyone fancy joining us for a goal to loose 4lb in May?

Throughout March and April a few of us found that no matter what the end goal is that by breaking this down into smaller 4lb monthly chunks, it has been much more manageable (and less scary).

We all had different ways to reach our goal and different end goals.

We are a supportive bunch!

Anyone interested in focusing on 4 lbs?

Sounds a good idea for me I’d love to join. I’m always getting carried away about how much I could lose “if only I….”. Only to fail miserably.

@Ikiduknot I think we all do that. Looking at the whole amount can be overwhelming but breaking it down into monthly manageable goals seems less daunting.

I’m determined to lose another 4lbs this month. I managed 6lbs in March and 7lbs in April.
I weigh daily (to see any trends) but only record weekly from the first. Another 4lbs would mean that I was 1 pound from my goal!

I'm in. Taking it one meal/day at a time! Low carbing. And low sugar of course. Although I don't find it hard to stay off the sugar as long as I keep the intake right down.

I’m hoping for 4lb off in May and to maintain for my 2 week holiday. I’m 11st 7lb currently, down from 13.1 and my target is just under 11 so I’m getting there!

I’m going on a cruise where obviously food is plentiful but I maintained my fasting period during my last cruise in January and will be using the gym regularly this time so I’m hopeful of maintaining my weight🤞

Yes, I’m in! Higher ratio of protein, fewer simple carbs, getting my steps in daily.

Yes - 4lb this month would be a great target to aim for!! Lots of walking out in the sunshine and less snacking

Oh yes please! I have about 7lbs to lose so 4 would be a fab start. I’m already doing intermittent fasting and cut out bread but it’s not shifting the same as it used to before the dreaded menopause so any suggestions very welcome. 🤗

Signing up! I'd love to lose 4lbs - it would drop me below 11 stone.

I'm managing to not buy crisps, chocolates and too much bread right now, but it'll take more than that...

I’ve really cut my calories, and am eating more protein and fibre…lost 1.5lbs overnight and I know it’s water and it won’t stay but yay!

As predicted: put a pound back on But half a pound gone, so that's pretty good.

Holiday in June and aiming to drop that sort of amount before then.
141lbs now aiming for 137lbs.
i tend to eat more protein, fewer carbs and as little junk as possible. Exercise is mainly walking and a bit or strength training at home.
Weigh most days to see a trend.

We have a family celebration later today but we have been out and walked 33k steps including a hill.

So hopefully a meal out and some fizz will be kind on the scales!

Joining! Going on holiday at the end of the month so could do with losing a few pounds. Need to lose over a stone really but starting with 4lbs seems healthy and sensible.

I’m 1lb down from 1st May which I’m happy with. I’m toning up a bit too which is good. I’ll be on a cruise this time next week but I managed to lose a bit of weight on my last cruise in January so hopefully I can keep up my good habits. I’d be happy if I didn’t gain, don’t really expect to lose!
