Anyone fancy joining us for a goal to loose 4lb in April?
A few of us have found that no matter what the end goal is that breaking this down into smaller 4lb monthly chunks is much more manageable (and less scary).

We all had different ways to reach our goal and different end goals.

Anyone interested in focusing on 4 lbs?

@Sighthoundsforever I struggle with crisps so just had to stop buying them!

I've not had a great week. So i might delay my weigh in and try better next week

Last week I had a loss and if I have a gain I find it demotivating. Id rather not know

just couldn't resist. Even though I've had a bad week I weighed this morning and I've lost 1lb this week.

So total weight loss since mid january is 10lbs or 4.7kg

Now 72kg or 11st 4lbs. Only another 4lbs to go until I am in the 10st bracket.

So pleased.

Wishing everyone a good week and lots of progress 😊

@ThisUniqueDreamer well done! That’s amazing.

My daily weighs are showing a nice downward trend, it’s really motivating me to eat well. Although I did have two glasses of wine last night.

I am finding it hard in the evenings as I feel hungry sometimes but I just drink water go to bed earlier , I keep on imagining looking bomb and fitting in size medium which is helpful 😂, but yh I have a SEN child and am a housewife but other than walking I don't have that much excersise, ur excersise routine is impressive

Its hard to find time to exercise with young kids, it’s great you are walking regularly!

Mine are adults so it’s much easier for me to.

You are doing really well👏

ThisUniqueDreamer · 05/04/2025 11:37

Don't know if I should share this as a tip. Toddler / kids meals work well.

I dont have time after work to cook sometimes. These are low fat, low salt, low sugar. I add cheese to them to bulk up a bit as they're designed for babies. They are very low calorie though.

Loads of fruit and veg on the side too.

@ThisUniqueDreamer wow! I guess they are nutritionally balanced but aren’t they mushy?

Some are some aren't. The m&s ones are for older children.

I tended to buy the pasta based ones. The hipp ones are quite mushy the little stars not so much.

I don't eat them every night I hasten to add. Just on days i want to be a bit lighter with food or had a bad day otherwise

A bit late to the party but may I join?
I started Noom at 10st11 on March and I'm currently at 10st7 but the free trial has run out and I'm too tight to pay!

I'd like to keep the momentum going but need accountability somewhere and I find writing down everything I eat helps avoid the accidental grazing. I'm not too fussed about the green/yellow/orange foods as for me, mostly green (veg) and some orange (higher protein/fat) foods work better - the yellow foods are mostly the demon carbs and I only have to look at a slice of toast to put a lb back on.

I'm 5ft 3, 50 and a month ago at 80/1 kg I made an appointment to meet my GP for weight loss meds. I put on about 10 kg during COVID; ill health meant I went from being a very active person with no weight issues to obese. I never lost the final 10 kgs. I absolutely hate this. I returned to being very active a number of years ago and kept to a calorie allowance but never shifted it.
Anyway I'm on seratriline and I've gone down to a lower dose and I now find I'm losing slowly. My GP was lovely and didn't think weight loss meds were for me but urged me to be really strict, cut the portions and we looked at my meds.
Since doing this hard core I'm losing slowly. This morning I'm 77.9. (this will go up as fluctuations but I'm going down).
I'd like to join please. Even a kilo a month would be huge for me...I'd love the support. I'm a very slow loser so I often get disheartened..

Ameliepoulainandthephotobooth · 07/04/2025 07:56

Love to see so many people joining in.

A week in and I’m 2lb down which I’m impressed with considering I had pizza with friends yesterday.

Morning everyone. I've messed up since Friday. Not had a good weekend. Need to get back on my wagon from today. Its been a hard week. Hopefully from today no more mess up.
My sink had been blocked, then a massive leak. Only got to sort it out on Saturday. Then yesterday another hard day. But from today a new day another fresh start.

ThisUniqueDreamer · 07/04/2025 08:03

I had a bad day. Because i've had a stressful time of that at work and I ate a pile of chocolate last night, but I'll try and get back on track today.

Doyouthinktheyknow · 07/04/2025 16:49

Afternoon all, lovely to see so many new faces♥️

I hit 12 stone on Saturday so am 1 stone 1lb down. I ate the biggest bag of crisps today but that’s life, onward and upward! I’ll try to have a healthy supper and I’ll be in the gym tomorrow.

Definitely a new day for all those struggling. Life definitely has a habit of getting in the way and messing things up😩

Ameliepoulainandthephotobooth · 07/04/2025 18:00

I think it’s natural to have blips but not letting one or two bad days ruin the rest of your hard work is what we need to focus on. A packet of crisps, some chocolate or pizza in moderation won’t ruin an otherwise good diet.

@Ameliepoulainandthephotobooth I devoured an entire bag of mini eggs

Still just a blip though @ThisUniqueDreamer 😂

I hope so. Lent rules aren't applied on Sundays so I kind of exploited that

Ameliepoulainandthephotobooth · 07/04/2025 20:49

@ThisUniqueDreamer are they not??? Great news, Maybe that’s why I had pizza? 😂
