Need to lose 1 stone by 14th June - anyone want to join & support me?

Hi
I can't keep on putting down my extra stone to baby flab as youngest dd now 2!
Managed to lose weight without too much hassle after 1st 2 dd's but for some yukky reason I just can't seem to shift that last stone after dd3!
Desperately need to lose a stone by 14th June as am going to big posh 60th - I already have the outfit to wear but it's way too tight at the mo.

Is there any-one else out there who would like to chat for support when it gets tough? I'm not really going to follow any specific diet but any tips gratefully received. My main problem is white wine - it just slips down so easily & one glass is never enough! I then get the mega munchies!

You are all doing so great! Better than me!

I am now over sickness too...must be going around! Thanks for the well wishes recieved last week!

I was doing good...then got some not great relationship news and polished off most of a chocolate brownie cake in one sitting But doing much better now and embarrased about cake incident!

However, I have a very important interview today so not eating as thought makes me sick...will make up for it after though I am sure.

Have not weighed myself yet, terrified! Will do today and post again...seeing it in black and white helps with the motivation!

Keep it up!

Well, had a generally good week last week but went away at weekend and was not so good!However, weighed yeserday morning: 10st 12.5lbs so lost 1.5lbs - could have been more but certainly better than nothing or gaining! More motivated this week!!!

yippee result at last have lost some weight! Lost 2 lbs - it's not much but better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick!

I'm going to curves on thursday night to get weighed and measured after gyming it for 4 weeks - quite excited, can deffo feel a difference in my clothes and i have at last binned my maternity jeans.

Well done everyone. It is sooo motivational when you start to feel your clothes getting looser (more so than the result on the scales I think). Today, I was wearing a top and jeans that haven't fitted since having DS (now 6 mths)which was great. However, I wasn't happy with my weight then either so still much to do!

Shocking weekend but been back on the wagon since and weighed in yesterday at 3lb lighter. Just craving stodgy carby food LOADS!

Everyone is doing so well!

Missed my SW weigh in today as I am away for a week.

Have been terrible this week as seeing friends and family and it's difficult when others are cooking-don't want to be rude and say "I can't eat that".

However, today I have started back on the healthy eating. Muesli for breakfast, jacket pot and beans with salad for lunch, small salmon steak and veg for tea. Have also managed a run. Feel better already!

It's very inspiring reading all your posts!

Wii Fit is fab but am away on business tonight so havent checked in on it for a few days including our long weekend away - I expect it to shout at me when I get back on it (no, really, it does!!) Has anyone read The Wall Street Diet? Am reading it now and its quite good really...

Ok day today except I ate one orio and a small apple turnover that mil gave me. Went for 2 walks and did 50 sit ups though so maybe that cancelled out the bad stuff

Oh dear - am in a hotel tonight and just had the club sarnie w chips - didnt haveb the bread and didnt have any pud but all the chicken and the bacon - and there was lots!! No wine though which is a development for me

Good in the day today but met a friend for dinner tonight and had v yummy garlic bread and pasta. Still, no wine and no pudding so I guess it could have been worse! Really need to start doing some exercise though reading all your posts ....

have been ve good all week and this morning I managed to swim 50 lengths in just under an hour!

My dad is coming round tonight to help dh set up the treadmill and then I will have some extra exercise to do.

Great stuff -we're nearly at the end of week 2! Tomorrow is my 10th wedding anniversary & just thinking back to how slim I was 10 years ago is helping me stay on track WE CAN DO THIS!!

Had a girls night out last night - didnt eat too much and refused pud when everyone else had it but I did have (too much) wine - oh my head!!! Am trying to cut out refined carbs following bits of the Wall Street Diet - lets see whether it works or not...

SW weigh in this morning -lost 2 pounds- given me a bit of a boost!

Will be huffing and puffing doing a bit of exercise tonight and am starting a three day detox tomorrow.

Will post with (hopefully!) weight loss next tues.

Lost nothing this week, have been awful. Am going to try and do Slim Fast or lighter life for a few weeks to give me a boost!

Not doing very well at refusing treats but am doing well at going for a walk just about every day so hopefully that will help!
Last time I checked i'd lost 5lb, then gained 2lb then lost 1lb... So last time I cheked i'd lost 4lb to put it simply. Not looking forward to weighing myself again. Not realy been doing it on a set day, maybe I should.

I've had a few lapses (bread pudding and custard, ahem) but still roughly on track, I think. I've no scales but dh did ask the other day if I'd lost weight - which was nice.
