HNY!

Weighed today and I'm 20 stone 10. I have been chipping away at this and there's nearly 2 stone gone over the last few months but I've been completely half arsing it and still make excuses like they're going out of fashion, and I just need to get bloody grip and get some semblance of a routine. Anyone want to join an accountability thread who has a good chunk to shift and isn't wanting to do WLI?

I think I'm going to aim for pre pregnancy weight which means I've got ~7 stone to get rid of but I'm going to break it down in chunks so it's not too overwhelming, and I'm more focussed on FEELING better rather than a number this time. I have lost 10+ stone before so I CAN do it, but this was pre mum life when I actually had an abundance of time, money and sleep.

My targets along the way will be:

• get under 20 stone
• get to the weight I was at full term (low 17s)
• get into the 15 stone bracket
• get to mid 14 stone and reassess how I'm feeling and how much further I want to go with it

Hoping that the majority will be off for Christmas 2025 🙏🏻

I'll weigh each Wednesday and post on here but no pressure for anyone to do so. We can do this (she says for the 100th time) 🥳

I really like Get Fit With Rick on YouTube, he does step workouts and they're great for getting you more active at the beginning.

I haven't lost much weight in the last 2 weeks. (0.4kgs) But I am on my period, so that is fine. Even the nurse commented on my weight loss 😄

Hi all, can I join please?

Currently weigh 115.7kg, which is heavier than I was full term with my children. My youngest is now 3 so need to stop with the excuses and shed all this excess weight.
Ideally would like to get down to 85kg, but am setting a mini goal of 110kg first to keep me motivated!

@HelloDaisy the SW leader near me (town beginning with H!) takes I think two or three classes - they were the only ones I could get to at the time - I know my friend went to SW classes in a nearby town and said they were brilliant, she found them really inspiring. She had a different leader, obviously Grin

@Bowling4soup if you wanted to do some walking at home you could look at , she does loads on YouTube - or perhaps there would be a friendly local gym you could join?

Another vote for Leslie! When I lost all my weight the first time I did her vids, there's a 48 min one that does 6000 steps so I used to watch the first 2/3ish to get to 4000 and then restart it to get to 10k hahaha

@toottootdriver my DD is 2 and that's what has flicked in my head too, can't carry on like this. I'm 3st heavier than full term currently which is absolutely ridiculous (and this is after losing 2st over the last few months!!!!!).

Maintain for me today but I totally deserve it tbf, trying to be in control over the weekend by getting food in went out the window and I ate everything in sight which was explained by the late period that arrived Sunday evening, woohoo. Struggling to get into a routine with the gym with the new job as I don't want to take the piss by buggering off for a bit (even though they fully support agile working), but I think once I've got this training week out of the way and I've settled in a bit I'll feel more comfortable venturing out. In the meantime I'm just trying to 'beat the week', ie do my steps on more days than not. Will see how it goes.

How's everyone getting on? Xx

I tracked everything yesterday and was 200 calories under.

How often do you get weighed? Im considering daily weigh ins

My town begins with W so not the same leader! Perhaps I need to travel to another town if I decide to join again..

I will see how I get on with myfitnesspal app for a while and then decide. Dc are also on it, although more for fitness and weight training, so it is quite motivating at home so far.

Hello, well my loss was 5lbs this week, which is great but then I had bad news and I've gained 2lbs since Monday yet I've not been eating poorly at all. I've stayed within my calorie allowance but not exercised.

I think my body gains sadness weight! I've kept very poorly too since the sad news.

Trying very hard not to eat my feelings just now. It is tough.

Four days into my new start. I'm hungry.
For four days I've cycled 9 miles, walked 3 miles with the doggo and not snacked between 2.30 and 5.00pm.
I'm hungry. Did I mention that?
I've been logging my food and am managing between 1400 and 1600 calories a day.
And now I'm off to bed. Hungry😁

I take it at some point the hunger will stop?

@HelloDaisy I'm actually an online SW member now (gave up on Mrs Unhelpful's classes!) and am enjoying their online webinars - just haven't had the time to actually do any meal planning yet Blush

Are you eating enough calories @Rowgtfc72? Apologies if you've worked it out already, that just sounds a bit low if you're doing so much exercise!

@Cinderellahasletherselfgo I think so. I use the NHS weightloss app and it suggested between 1400 and 1600 calories. That's based on my bmi though which personally is a waste of space as I have a lot of muscle.
I was referred once to a dietician who insisted I should go from 15st to 9st4. She said I ate like a navvy and should be spending 2hrs a day in the gym like her.
We fell out, decided to part ways, but on my last weigh in instead of turning up in baggy work clothes I had a day off and arrived in cycling shorts and a t shirt. She immediately told me to get to 12st and reassess because I was very muscular and 9st 4 was crazy.

I'm up for work and surprisingly not hungry!

5lb off. Scales said15st 13. They've not said 15 anything since Nov.
I guess I'll get used to being hungry😁

I had a bad weekend and feel like i ruined my good week up until then 😭
We had family visit on Saturday so went out for a meal and dessert. Sunday wasn't too bad but I didn't track calories all weekend.
Jumped on the scales this morning
-3lb since I started so I am happy with that i just wish I'd had the will power to be good at the weekend. Even just to track would have been something.

Nevermind I'm just about to track my cup of tea I'm about to make :-)

Lost 5lbs this week and had some biscuits as my weekly treat I normally have after weigh in. But I don't think they're a good idea. I think overall it was a better choice than I've had recently ( some beer, some crusty bread with butter, and some small chocolate ) but ive always had issues with biscuits and after I had my 4 chocolate digestives and 2 jammie dodgers I really felt i could have had more ( i got 2 double packs!) But I kept my self control and didn't go back for more.

73.5 pounds in 16 weeks so that's really good as normally we don't stick to a diet for anywhere near as long. And its becoming routine now so it doesn't feel like I am making changes it's just the way I eat now which is ideal as it takes a lot of the emotional it's awful being on a diet feeling away.

I'm aiming for 3lb a week average for the year, id be absolutely ecstatic with 4 but I'm 95% sure i won't be able to as when I get down to a lower weight I expect the losses to slow but I'm currently at a 4.1 average.

In the last two weeks I lost only 1kg, so I am now 85.1kg. I had less time to exercise and had to wait around for people a lot.
Slow progress, but I will take it.

Becoming a recurring theme here but sorry for being quiet ladies, new work is SO hectic - hoping it calms down soon. Will have a proper read of the thread when I can.

20st 3 this morning so that's 2lb off this week and half a stone gone since the start of the year AND I'm only 3.5lb away from first mini target of getting under 20 stone, yayyyy! Not sure I'll get 3.5 this week as I've got no gym time at all, but hoping at the latest in 2 weeks I will 🙌🏻

My weight loss in the past month was very slow, but steady. Current weight is 84kg.

I tried to get a one size smaller bra in M&S, because the old one is too loose even in the loosest setting. Of course, one size smaller is far too small. Arghhhh! I will have to put effort into getting new underwear.

Don't know if anyone is still around.
Weighed in April 1st and topped out at 16st 6lb as it had all gone tits up. Weighed in this morning at 15st 11lb.
Head back into gear.

I'm still struggling really, I can see what I need to do, just can't work out how to get there Blush DP is working long hours and is always in a shitty mood because if it which means all meal planning, prep, cooking etc is down to me - and I work almost full time hours too, I don't have time on my hands to do it! I honestly cannot get my head round meal planning for all of us, and where I'm supposed to fit in any exercise I have no idea...
