I’ve had a lot of success with HBD but have really gone off the rails with a holiday and then Christmas. I’m planning to start a reset on 7th Jan - anyone else planning the same? X

I’m interested in this. Where can I get the scripts please?

I have the PDF but can’t see a way to share it… so go to BrittanyWatkins.com and the download is on the home page.
I found that if you just do them all whether you think you need them all or not… is brilliant

HelenHywater · 24/01/2025 08:46

Thank you @girluwant2 I'm going to take a look too

Justhere65 · 24/01/2025 10:27

The apple and cinnamon is lovely too.

HelenHywater · 26/01/2025 15:13

I find it so hard when it's cold - I really want a hot drink!

Me too! Especially a hot chocolate 😂

HelenHywater · 29/01/2025 06:58

How's it going on P3 everyone?

I have one more day on P2 (today). ..

I thought I read that you can have the odd glass of wine in the evening on P3 - is that correct?

Justhere65 · 29/01/2025 10:54

I think you can … definitely with your treat meal. I have been feeling quite poorly with a very heavy cold. I have been feeling so sorry for myself that I have had two coffees with milk today 😂. Only had a very small piece of salmon for breakfast though.

HelenHywater · 29/01/2025 17:06

Aren't you allowed milk in P3?

I went wild yesterday too and had an extra apple 😮 . I think in the general scheme of things we're doing ok.

I'm sure i read that you can have the odd glass of wine on a non-treat meal day! I need to check as I'm meant to be out 4 times next week and am fed up of going out and drinking sparkling water.

Not sure about milk but you can have the odd glass of wine with non treat meal in p3. I have one on my non treat weekend evening ! X

She says it a few times… no milk except in treat meals.

I think we are and we are only human … on the human being diet! We are staying with friends for a few days so it is more tricky but I am trying hard 🙂

HelenHywater · 30/01/2025 08:21

I meant the wine, not the milk! I found it in the recipe book. (I don't drink milk so that isn't so tough for me).

I'm 3.5 kilos down after P1 and 2. (Actually nearly 4 kilos since P2 as I actually put on weight in P1!). So happy with that. Weight loss has slowed so I'm happy to move to P3 now. I have learned I have a very active sugar monster! If I eat fruit after meals, I crave sugar all day (and usually give in to more fruit). So i'm going to avoid that and probably the dark chocolate as I don't feel that I'll be able to stop at one square!

Sorry!! 😂 I am a bit brain blurry this morning.
Must admit, I’m so glad I’m not craving anything anymore but having invested in bathroom scales just to do HBD I’m now scared to weigh myself after the first 16 days, in case I’m not losing much.

Well done that’s brilliant!

HelenHywater · 30/01/2025 10:34

I made the mistake to start with of weighing myself every day and I think that contributed to me going seriously off-piste and having to start again. Weight loss isn't linear or constant and it's much better and encouraging to just weigh yourself once a week. I think you have to trust the process - if you're following it all then it should work!

I don't have much to lose (I started off as a healthy bmi and just wanted to lose perimenopause weight gained last year) so anything from here is a bonus now.

I was pleased to be able to cook a proper omelette with oil today!

HelenHywater · 30/01/2025 10:36

What day are you on @girluwant2 ?

I did weigh myself on Saturday and today and only lost 0.1kg by today which was a little bit disheartening but am feeling positive now.

I’m on day 25… and have just got into a favourite pair of jeans that I couldn’t get into at the end of P2 … yay!
maybe I’ll get on the scales after 28 days.

I do seem to have a couple of low days in each week actually… when even choosing food seems impossible… but I’m exercising more now and I think that will help

HelenHywater · 30/01/2025 11:11

That's brilliant news! I'm a bit scared that I won't lose anymore weight in P2. I'll weigh in on Saturdays from now on (unless my treat meal is on Thursday or Friday night...).

HelenHywater · 01/02/2025 14:03

Weigh in day for me, have dropped below the 65kg barrier. Had 120g for lunch. Have got a bit of a social week coming up, and have finished dry January....

Branched out into a P3 meal last night and had sweet potato fries (all 7 of them - and this was 130g!) with steak. Was very tasty.

girluwant2 · 03/02/2025 11:31

Day 28 yesterday!!
Lost about 4” off waist and hips. Down 3 cup sizes and 1 band size in bras.. (34J down to 32H) my face is getting slimmer and I feel really great.

Had treat meal yesterday cooked by DD2 and I had my first dessert since I started… Have broken out on my face this morning thanks to butter and cream…maybe wheat and sugar (I know I’m good with full fat milk and some full fat yoghurt but no other dairy) and I now find sugary things way too sweet.. but crispy roasted sweet potatoes were delicious… I think the most gutting discovery was that Yorkshire puddings were tasteless to me. Won’t be bothering with them again 😥

Knowing what to cut out of my eating permanently is so helpful.
Have a fabulous week ladies 😍

Hi, amazing results on here, well done everyone!
I am on day 1 phase 2 and really do not want to repeat phase 1!!
I have struggled today to get my 3 meals in with 5 hours between, does anyone else have this problem and what do you do?
I am thinking I'll just miss the last meal as it would mean eating at 10pm which I think is probably worse?

Lalanoodle · 03/02/2025 17:26

I wasn't going to bother measuring myself but you have inspired me to @girluwant2 with your fantastic results!

Justhere65 · 03/02/2025 17:29

Well done everyone. I have struggled the last few days as I have not been feeling well so have definitely gone off piste! I am determined to get back on track tomorrow though.

I also struggle to leave 5 hours between meals so sometimes it is just 4 hours but hope that is okay. I am struggling with recipes as I don’t eat meat so any ideas would be great.
