I’ve had a lot of success with HBD but have really gone off the rails with a holiday and then Christmas. I’m planning to start a reset on 7th Jan - anyone else planning the same? X

I weighed myself this morning too and am thrilled! I am someone who has struggled to lose weight at all since I went through the menopause so could hardly believe I have lost 9lbs in 12 days. Like @girluwant2 I have learnt more about what my body likes and have also got out of old ingrained habits which weren’t good for me.

I can confirm that prawns and avocado is not a substantial enough breakfast.

Aren’t you having multiple veggies at breakfast? 100g…and only 60g can be avocado

Yes I had prawns, avocado (I thought it was 80 g?) and salad leaves. The prawns aren't as substantial as 2 eggs or some smoked salmon I don't think.

I cooked the salmon with courgetti tonight which was really lovely. Have cooked another (smaller) salmon for breakfast tomorrow.

I agree about the prawns… in fact my body doesn’t seem to like prawns anymore. I haven’t had salmon for breakfast though… I’ll try that!

Hi @Justhere65 I’m starting p3 today! So I didn’t weigh at the beginning because tbh I really didn’t want to know! But weighed today and 64.6kg so I’m sure I must have been nudging 70 😮 anyway so 4kg to target which hopefully will be done during p3 ….. the trouble is I can live with myself at this weight so previously have found my commitment a bit waveryjng. But going to go for it this time! How’s everyone else doing? X

Well done! I have lost 7lbs and am so pleased. Breakfast today was rye bread and smoked salmon and I’m planning my treat meal!
I definitely feel better for 16 days without carbs and dairy which I never thought I would be able to do.

oh well done both! I finish P2 next Wednesday/Thursday - won't weigh myself again until then. 64.6 means you have to decrease your portion sizes doesn't it @Fluffywithteeth ?

Haha yes but actually I won’t … happy to accept a bit slower weight loss can’t face the hunger! Not long to go now…. How you finding it ?

Fantastic to read how well you’re all doing!
I started P3 yesterday having lost 6.5lbs… I’m good with that and I’m after inch loss more than weight.
I had my first treat meal last night and learned a lot 😂 like how much my stomach has shrunk!
haven’t reacted to any of it so far… and I usually get mouth ulcers or skin breakout immediately if I eat something wrong.
Really enjoying the EVOO and was coming to the end of a bottle so I treated myself to some lovely stuff 😁.

Oh rye bread 🥰… bread was always my big weakness so I’ve set a goal to wait until I’ve lost a stone before having rye bread

My problem really is sugar and sweet stuff and I think the apple really sets me off (so I did have 2 apples for dinner last night and would have eaten every berry in the fridge if I had any). I'm steering clear of berries.

I did re-measure myself too and have lost quite a few cm which I am really pleased with! I will join you all on P3 next Thursday.

started this as I have Hashimotos, weight has piled on and my cholesterol is borderline high.
is it normal to be dreaming of a treat meal already?! 🥴

I think it’s completely natural! Well done for getting through P1. I was bored of vegetables too so thankfully it is only 2 days. I am enjoying this diet which has surprised me so good luck! x

Don’t know if it’s any help, but in December I did a whole set of tapping (33 scripts from Brittany Watkins) for different emotional releases… worked absolutely brilliantly!!
I can watch my daughter eat anything and have no reaction… I can look at any food and not desire it.
…that's the only way I’m still in this 🥰
