whats the multibionta for gb?

crunchie · 11/01/2005 11:53

WWWW I do that too, I buy clothes and I try them on at home and think, OK these look OK. Then dh makes a comment like - 'you look like a chav mum on a night out on the pull'!! Just before I go out clubbing with my friends! However I KNOW he is trying to help he made me choose something showing more clevage, just less flabby batwing arms!!

I am in TOTAL denial!!

Actually I am in a good mood today, I bought some ski trs before x-mas as I couldn't get my old ones past my ankles, and I had to take them back at the weekend, they were TOOO BIG!!! I am off in a 4 days and I will eat loads, but skiing burns it all off!!

gingerbear · 11/01/2005 11:59

littlemissbossy · 11/01/2005 12:17

ok coddy and everyone here - signing in for the first time since the weekend and I'm doing really well!! OMG shine that halo above my head
Even managed to go to an evening reception at the weekend where I drunk slimline tonic water all night and ate salad only from the buffet... it's been worth it, I've lost 4lbs in a week and my jeans are feeling more comfortable.
I am soooo determined to keep it up... but miss crisps desperately!

tortoiseshell · 11/01/2005 12:20

So LowCalCod, I've had some potato and leek soup for lunch (out of a tin I'm afraid, but v low cal!), now I'm fancying some Ryvita with Philadelphia Lite - yes or no?

Well done www - 6 pounds is really good - nearly half a stone!

SuzySox · 11/01/2005 12:36

Can anyone suggest a good alternative to fish? I hate fish!

Also why no potatoes?

have had three quarters of a pack of pasta salad (the only nice looking low fat thing left) - it was VILE - then ate a Gillian MacKeith superfood bar thinking it would be no calories - looked at label and its got 270 calories .

Feel stuffed, cheated and still miserable.

But he is a big bloke anyway, he is 6 ft 1 and has a 46 inch chest and size 12 shoes but even bearing that in mind, should 'nt relly be at the upper end of 16 stone!

Had an apple for breakfast, a flask of coffee for break time and a sald with olives for lunch. Feel very hungrey, very fed up and not like dieting at all today. I am sure my mood would be lifted with chocolate or pizza, but will refrain, promise. Determined not to let this horrid job ruin my chances of losing weight as well as everything else.

fairyfly · 11/01/2005 13:58

But I don't want fruit - I want chocolate and wine, and now!

puddle · 11/01/2005 14:05

Only day four of no alcohol and finding it so hard - would have caved in last night if DP wasn't doing it with me - he helped me through the half hour post work when the wine bottle called to me..... BUT - although I have been drinking hot water and lemon for ages now, last night DP made it for me with slice of fresh ginger in it and it was Deee -licious (said in Big Cook voice). Today so far I have had

Lots of lemon and hot water
Small bowl muesli
Couscous with salmon and other roasted veggies (left overs from last nights supper).

Am feeling v virtuous but also have a headache.

I have also just discovered marmite flavoured rice cakes.

lowcalCOD · 11/01/2005 14:11

well done
you know the headaches may be alcohol withdrawal
also how much water are you a ll drinking and have oyu had some fresh air?

I think the idea of having a wine allowance on fridays and saturdays is a good one, I stayed off it and was Desperate for some by last night (but was good). Have been taking milk thistle and dandelion too.
I'm about 9.7 this morning, but still bloaterish and jeans no lesss tight
Breakfast - porridge (with skimmed milk, can't do water)
Lunch will be boiled egg and supper will be jamaican chicken with sweet potato and no rice.
