interesting about the headache ladies.
I have had a headache on and off for a few days...and I NEVER get headaches (not since I stopped drinking alcohol and coffee 6 yrs ago)
So is this a choc-detox head? Ugggh
so far today
bowl of sugar free museli
2 bananas
handful of grapes
3x big glasses of water

GreatBigFatHeiferEnid · 11/01/2005 11:14

OK cod, having no lunch with me the choices are:

low fat sandwich (somerfields)
slice cheese/lentil pie (health food shop)

or soggy, hot comforting cornish pasty from Bobs Scuzzy Snack Bar.

Help me now.

saintshar · 11/01/2005 11:32

Can i join please?

Don't have time to read all this thread, so could someone please give me a brief low-down on what's happening. Do you have to weigh yourself once a Week then post it? etc...

My clothes are starting to get rather tight, and i am going on holiday in may, so want to do something now so i don't wobble all over the beach. As i haven't needed to diet much before, i really need a kick up the bum to motivate me!

Ok, so i am 11 9!!
aim for 10 7 (this is my ideal weight believe it or not. I am quite tall, and any less than this and i look ill.)
Weaknesses - alchohol, and then picking at rubbish food whilst drinking alchohol, and late-night eating.

GreatBigFatHeiferEnid · 11/01/2005 11:33

no alcohol during the week

was going to post today about how much better I felt on the diet - sleeping like a log and lots of energy. But today I feel like CRAP so maybe I'll postpone my evangelical posting

GreatBigFatHeiferEnid · 11/01/2005 11:35

but a low fat sandwich is bread

weightwatchingwaterwitch · 11/01/2005 11:35

The sandwich Enid, you know it makes sense! Or could you buy a load of fruit and some ready to eat prawns or smoked salmon (God, it's all I ever seem to suggest on here!)? I bought Milk Thistle tablets yesterday Fio, thought my liver could probably use some help. I feel OK once I'm up, just awful on waking. But I weighed myself and....

Ta da! I've LOST SIX POUNDS! I am happy, it's all worth it so I will keep going.

GreatBigFatHeiferEnid · 11/01/2005 11:36

wow www well done (thats a lot of w's)

What keeps me going Cod is looking in the mirror . I have a kind of reverse body dismorphia where I've been looking in the mirror for years and thinking 'yeah, I look ok' and now, suddenly, I'm thinking, oh f**! No I don't! It's like the scales have fallen from my eyes. And it's v strange but I still look in my home mirror and think 'not that bad' but the minute I go out (M&S lift yesterday was partic depressing) I can see it all so clearly - I'm a FAT bird. It's called denial I think

lowcalCOD · 11/01/2005 11:39

oh an dno snacking obv

FineFigureFio · 11/01/2005 11:43

weightwatchingwaterwitch · 11/01/2005 11:46

Fio, same here, I will post my weight once I've lost some. See, I didn't even KNOW it before last week, didn't have scales. That's true denial.

FineFigureFio · 11/01/2005 11:47

gingerbear · 11/01/2005 11:50
