Nice, easy four pounds in September. Who's with me?

I want to drop four pounds in September - a nice, easy target of a pound a week.

Yesterday, I was 8st 4lb. I want to get down to 8st. I'm a short-arse so this would take me into the 'healthy' BMI range.

I'll be:
Calorie restricting (1,500 a day at maximum)
Abstaining from alcohol
Limiting puddings to one a day after tea
Aiming to work out twice per week but definitely managing one time

Would anyone like to join me?

I seem to have brought back some kind of bug on holiday so I suspect that's going to help my next weigh in 😩 it's been a week now, I can still eat but really painful stomach, why does it take being ill to realise how much we should cherish our health and body?!

How's everyone's weekend going?
I've been much better behaved this weekend - lots of porridge, soup and curry. No burgers or parties!
Tomorrow is roast beef, but boiled tatties, lots of carrots, and no yorkies. Still delicious though.

Thank you @MaxEye 😀Yesterday went on forever, with one crisis after another until bedtime. I didn’t overeat or comfort eat. I did have too much coffee. One thing I enjoyed was a pitta stuffed with shredded lettuce, tomato, and crumbled pieces of corned beef.

Had to go to tesco this afternoon to top up the milk, yogurt, cheese. Started an online delivery for Monday - lots of fruit and salad.

Feeling a bit bloated, as I was mostly sitting on the phone or form-filling, and I need daily exercise in order to recharge my batteries Forecast is for sun tomorrow, and that should liven me up a bit.

I actually remembered to weigh in and I lost 2lbs! I've not really changed my (awful) diet much but I've been moving my body a lot more. Obviously had a celebratory takeaway

Mine is going good just not starting my periods 5 days late and bloated so I have started to eat breakfast and lunch and skip dinner, every time I weigh myself I'm 2 pounds heavier I know it's water weight cus of periods but still frustrating 😤

@HarrietHillbilly same here, a much better weekend food wise although I did have wine last night. I’m back on OMAD which is a relief as I don’t accidentally graze all day 😂
I’ve been listening to lots of fasting podcasts during my walks.

I am gaining not losing….. started at 8st 12 and today I am 8st 13.

Don't worry @SquatWeightaMinute so am I! I think it's because my period is about to come, I always put on temporary weight.
Do you think you are basically doing the right things and likely to be in a calorie deficit? If so just keep ploughing on and you'll get there!

Thanks @HarrietHillbilly I suspect hormones for me too. I had two periods last month, I should be due tomorrow but that’s from period 1, not sure If period 2 reset my cycle….. we will see!

I've lost 3 kilos in nearly a month, which is great, but I've stuck now for the last week. I'm going to try to get to the gym this week 🙄

Sorry, going to have to jump ship. Got a positive pregnancy test this morning, so weight loss is off the cards for nine months!

Period is still a no show for me, I ended up binging because I dno y I was very hungry, I think it's cus periods are on their way , @HarrietHillbilly congratulations!!! So happy for you, I'm thinking I should take a test too even tho I have not been active for a while.

Amazing weight loss @Dolliesdisasterousdayout 4.5lbs in a week. You've smashed the challenge.

I'm 1.1kg down today or 2.5lbs so with the 1.5lbs last week that's 4lbs gone. Delighted. Hoping it keeps dropping off like this.

Massive congratulations to those who've lost today!!

Ridiculously my scales packed up this morning 🙃They're digital ones and the screen was just displaying random shapes rather than actual numbers. So that's helpful.
It's actually put me in a right bad mood because I was looking forward to weigh-in day. They are about 20 years old so I've some wear out of them.

But I'm in town later so I'll pick up some new ones and weigh-in tomorrow.

I've done well the last week but my PT has gone off traveling so my Saturday morning sessions have stopped. I'll need to replace them with something pretty sharpish.

Hi all,

Doing my Monday check in (a little late). Also, I incorrectly put my SW on 01/09 down as 198.4 instead of 196.4 (need to get my eye prescription checked me thinks!)

Weight on Sept 1st - 196.4lbs (89.1kg)
Weight on Sept 9th - 194.45lbs (88.2kg) ✅
Weight in Sept 16th - 189.38lbs (85.9kg) ✅

So all in all ⬇7.02lbs

Losing more this month and making it a full 10lbs would be amazing - but if I can keep this same 7lbs off I am still super happy.

This has been from IF 18:6 and a ridiculous number of steps. The weather is supposed to be great this week and so going to make the best of it by continuing to walk outside!

I usually have my OMAD later in the day as once I start eating it’s harder to stop but have eaten already today. I’m busy tonight so hopefully won’t regret my early meal!

Ditto here, would love to, thank you so much for this thread! Going to cut down on bread and not eat after 8 and drink more water (ease up on fizzy drinks). I need this today, tried on a dress today that was so stuck to me!!

Well done - some great progress on here!

I've somehow gained a pound since last week. I've no idea how or why. I do seem to fluctuate every day but even with tracking on Happy Scale, I don't seem to be losing anything. I'm quite short and aiming for 8st, so I guess progress will be slow. I'm trying to focus on good quality nutrition and doing some strength workouts at home.
