Team RH - has anyone actually been visited by a debt collector

RowansMammy · 28/05/2024 18:21

Has anyone used Team RH and had a bad experience or had debt collectors at the door? I used the app for 1 day. Total scam and mis sold. Only after waiving your right to the 14 day cooling off period, creating a direct debit, does it tell you to download my fitness pal which is free and clunky. It did all the work.

I used team RH for 1 day and tried to cancel to be told no. There is no way I'm paying for a 12 month contract for a service I used for one day. I don't follow the plan, I don't take any notice of the goals I've been set. I'd rather be fat to be honest.

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone has actually had debt collectors come to the door or is it just the bully emails and calls? has anyone experienced anything?

Richie is a bullying fool, must have the worlds smallest penis.
He's no life coach, he's a prick.
I cancelled the direct debit, didn't give it another thought.
Preys on insecure females, I cringe when I hear his voice, parody of a man.

Did your credit rating get affected- I’m quite worried about that?

Youdontevengohere · 14/06/2024 18:30

The thing is if he read our opinions on here he’d just call us all ‘fat, bitter old Bettys’ or something like that. Misogynistic twat.

GOTBrienne · 14/06/2024 18:45

What happened with his girlfriend. They split up didn’t they but she was still working for him.

RowansMammy · 14/06/2024 19:01

The “cyber attack” was when he was outed by previous staff with WhatsApp screenshots and reviews on Glassdoor. Many then left reviews so his goal was to make those reviews look like a “cyber attack”

He makes up reviews on there too

the people who fawn over him saying “oh he tells it to people straight, he’s so honest” 🤢
just remember he doesn’t use men as “fat” examples

he lives off bloody Rice Krispies and whilst did a nutritional certification, it has lapsed and he hasn’t done anything to update it

hes told female staff not to get into relationships or get pregnant because he didn’t want to get into paying for mat leave

he has a ton of burner accounts on Facebook, joins weight loss groups and is always ready to launch in at the mere mention of his shit cult

But there’s a never ending bunch of live laugh love followers applauding his misogynistic crap and his calorie counting that’s no different from the 1960s

He’s something else isn’t he.
rotten fruit falls by itself as they say

Haha I’d rather be fat for life than invest my energy in him and his cult. I’ll cry all over my McDonalds.

They spilt awhile ago. She was still a director of the company till not long ago.

I’ve cancelled my DD so am expecting some verbal soon. My husband spoke to the bank at length and they also said there’s no credit agreement

Try not to worry about it. The email he sends is just a hidden you tube video saying you have 3 options. Don’t let him intimidate you.

No it won’t at all because there is no credit agreement. He just uses emotive language to bully people into continuing payment. He’s a top tier cunt. Just cancel, nothing will happen.

Despite what he might make you believe. There is no credit agreement, I went through there sign up earlier to see what it said, there is really nothing they can hold you to.

She put lots of stuff about being free, without naming him, he is a narcissistic arse.

This man is so harmful to women it's beyond belief.

He has next to no training, if you read his posts you will see how unknowledgeable about weight loss.

Festivemoose · 15/06/2024 00:36

This is the same man that got into trouble with the ASA for misleading advertising.

“Under the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (CAP Code), ads must make clear all applicable significant conditions or information likely to influence a consumer’s decision where the omission of such information is likely to mislead. As Team RH’s ad did not make clear the minimum period for the subscription, the ASA, therefore, considered the ad to be misleading”

and more shockingly, for advertising using “women as faceless objects for sexual purposes”

from the ASA website…

”The woman had her bare legs over the man’s shoulders and neither her torso nor face could be seen. We considered that the positioning of the woman in this way to be objectifying since her inclusion in the ad served only as a faceless object used for sexual purposes.
Because it included an objectified woman in a sexual position, we concluded that the ad was likely to cause serious offence.
The ad breached the CAP Code (Edition 12) rules 4.1 and 4.9 (Harm and Offence)”

I was a member years and years ago, when he was just starting out. It was before his app was released. I cancelled my membership because I gave birth to a disabled child and suffered significant birth injuries, so obviously my priorities changed somewhat. He sent a message saying if I wanted to ‘give up and stay fat’ then that was up to me.

BarcardiWithGadaffia · 15/06/2024 09:53

Interesting that no one has signed up to defend him, usually on this type of thread you get new posters popping up with positive stories

tonicwatertopup · 15/06/2024 10:27

I joined ages ago before they had the app. I don't know if they still do it but back then they had these missions. You paid up front and got access to a private Facebook group and some PDFs. I couldn't quite work out why it cost so much when their outlay seemed to be so low. I gave a honest review on the FB page. I was diplomatic and said that I understood it was helpful to some people but it wasn't for me. I thought it was a balanced review but they just removed it and blocked me from the page. It seemed like there was this massive over-reaction to any kind of critique.

Looking at it now, it feels like it's essentially a cleverly marketed version of 'eat less, move more' but with lots of swearing.

I've had good success with the nutracheck app which is cheaper and you can cancel at any time.

Barrenfieldoffucks · 15/06/2024 10:35

He's a bell-end. I remember getting threatening messages from him when a group of us from on here had a private Facebook group as a support thing for our 'journey' with him. He was very aggressive from the off, telling me we weren't allowed, we're breaking all sorts of laws/rules, we're banned from his scheme etc etc. I said 'whatever' basically and closed it down, but he kept coming back saying he could still see it etc etc.

Bell-end.

Yep you usually do get people who do defend him for some reason, If he finds out there is a thread about him he will send his devoted flying monkeys here.

I'd also look at their replies to trust pilot reviews filter to the lower stared ones (ignore a lot of the positive ones they are allegedly fake). They are so unprofessional in their replies. Also they state they are under a cyber attack which they have said for years.

Please anyone reading this thread think twice before joining.

Festivemoose · 15/06/2024 11:35

A “cyber attack” because people left some negative reviews 😹

I can imagine him on the phone now
“Hello is that the NCSC? Someone on trustpilot left me a bad review! Hello? Hello? … dial tone….”

Laughable isn’t it. Everyone is out to get him. Nowt to do with the fact he cons people. Good thing he doesn’t care what people online forums think about him.
