Team RH - has anyone actually been visited by a debt collector

Has anyone used Team RH and had a bad experience or had debt collectors at the door? I used the app for 1 day. Total scam and mis sold. Only after waiving your right to the 14 day cooling off period, creating a direct debit, does it tell you to download my fitness pal which is free and clunky. It did all the work.

I used team RH for 1 day and tried to cancel to be told no. There is no way I'm paying for a 12 month contract for a service I used for one day. I don't follow the plan, I don't take any notice of the goals I've been set. I'd rather be fat to be honest.

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone has actually had debt collectors come to the door or is it just the bully emails and calls? has anyone experienced anything?

I cancelled in November/December and had 1 email and nothing since, however I did unsubscribe from their emails so I'd suspect that's why I've heard nothing via email, nothing through the post yet!

Has anyone tried to cancel lately? I keep getting weekly email warnings like the ones below.

Unless they take you to court which you will receive a letter ignore.

Hi im experiencing the same thing..had no idea this was a 12 month contract at all as i dont sign up to any gym contracts. I was under the impression it was purely app. Information on it can be found online for free. I feel completely mis sold tbh and i have cancelled my direct debit

I've had my direct debit cancelled since December I believe, still never heard anymore from them although I did unsubscribe from their emails when I got the 1st one from them. With so many people having the same experience I don't think they have a leg to stand on anyway!

I signed up last June, after a day of faffing with a non user friendly app, a ridiculous link to calorie calculator, and terrible workout videos, I sent a email and asked to cancel , I got a really shocking email back.
I have just canx my dd with 2 months to go until the 12m period( thought i was atcthe 12m), I've never used the app, its not what it advertises to be. It's not user friendly. It's shocking and the calories he sets are not person sowcific. ive had numerous threatening emails, a video of Rich threatening. It's an absolute scam. Thankyou to everyone for sharing their stories.

can I just confirm for anyone that has cancelled Team RH and been told they are in breach of contract, no further action was take. Despite the threatening emails?

Yes. No further action at all.

Move the emails to your junk, don't open them read them or give them the time of day. No one on the whole of the thread has had any further action taken.

Also, tell everyone you meet what scum of a company they are and warn everyone off!

I cancelled around 8 months ago and then got the threatening emails, I nearly caved because I didn’t want my credit rating to take a hit, but felt completely conned as I didn’t sign any contract of the sort. Anyways I stumbled across this thread and decided to ignore, as I say 8 months on and nothing.. I know it’s easier said than done but honestly I wouldn’t worry I think they just try to scaremonger you!

Absolutely nothing has happened, I cancelled in October. ! It can't affect our credit history as we didn't take out credit with them or anything. Absolute con artists!!

I’ve no idea how they are still in business and haven’t been investigated by watchdog.

It is an absolute scam, it's the worst App, its not at all what it protrays to be, and he's shocking when you try to contact them. The whole diet plan, excercise he says youll get are terrible and the app is horrendous.
I have just stopped paying with 2 payments left, I asked to cancel the same day once I realised how bad it was and got nothing but abuse,
I've never used the app, now 10m in and reading these posts, I have canx the DD and got the same threats. He is a bully and a scam. Thank you Rowansmammy for starting this thread and to everyone who's posted x

Oh that’s disappointing, I was looking at that one. Some people have recommended the similarly named Fat Loss Feast though - seems like a really nice guy who runs it :)

Yes I really warm to Phoebe at Fat Loss Fundamentals. I think part of the issue is that when you’ve been in the whole “diet” and fitness zone for as long as me there’s only so many ways you can repackage focusing on a calorie deficit and protein.

Delighted to hear this, the man is an abusive bully. His latest stuff is apparently about microdosing with Mounjaro or similar and he’s buying it illegally from abroad.
Hes been called out for this as he is influencing others to do similar. He says he’s not suggesting anyone else does the same.

No he isn’t but many people worship him and like cult members will do the same.

How can he possibly know that what he is buying is actually what's in the vials?

If you buy medical drugs from abroad, you have no idea what's in them unless you get them tested—and is he likely to be getting them tested? Probably not.

My personal opinion is that what's gone on is incredibly unethical and dubious.
