Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone is starting the BodySlims 10 week program on the 24th of April. Will be nice to form a small group here to support each other x

Most days @ConcussedPigeon 😇

Happymama24 · 22/05/2024 18:28

@LeftWhisker well done, great achievement

Happymama24 · 22/05/2024 18:29

@ConcussedPigeon we haven't had much rain here recently. I know once it starts again I will definitely be walking at odd hours trying to avoid the showers 😕

Happymama24 · 22/05/2024 18:32

@Thisisthedawningoftheageofaquarius - thank you! I am really feeling in the swing of it now.
I find the seminars long, difficult not to start falling asleep even when I watch them during the day. The content is good but I find myself going back over because I missed a little bit
How is everyone else finding the seminars?
Anyone have any snack ideas less than 100cal?

ConcussedPigeon · 22/05/2024 20:04

I have to admit I was dropping off at one point too. It’s a looonnnng time to concentrate.

Thisisthedawningoftheageofaquarius · 22/05/2024 20:41

I normally play them in my earphones over my walk and find it fine (tho I’m not watching; I just let the vid play on my phone).

I listened back to last weeks audio twice more as I thought it was a good one; this weeks one didn’t feel as motivational for me but I suspect different weeks themes resonate with different people…

Happymama24 · 27/05/2024 22:20

Hi everyone, how are you all getting on? I'm finding this week tough, it's been busy. I have managed the walking every day but definitely a day or 2 I went over my calories

Thisisthedawningoftheageofaquarius · 28/05/2024 07:36

Same @Happymama24 ; getting the walks in but have been a bit over a few days. Still expecting to be down tomorrow - gave 100% yesterday and will again today in a final push before weigh in!

Thisisthedawningoftheageofaquarius · 29/05/2024 07:58

Down 2.5 this week and 14.5 overall; delighted! 4.5 from dare to dream weight so hopefully I achieve in next few weeks.
Can’t believe it!

Hope everyone was happy this morn x

Happymama24 · 29/05/2024 17:48

@Thisisthedawningoftheageofaquarius - Well done, that is fantastic. You are so close now! Keep up the good work.
I am down 1lb this week. Not great but I was expecting it to be honest.
I need to buckle down and make sure my calories are 100%

ConcussedPigeon · 29/05/2024 22:25

Found this week really tough. Only down 0.25lb, but I expected it to go up, so I count it as a win.

Well done on all the losses.

Thisisthedawningoftheageofaquarius · 29/05/2024 22:37

Well done @ConcussedPigeon and @Happymama24 ; youve kept off the weight and are down more so that’s a result. Same - Finding walks fine but calories tough .
Can’t believe we are half way; gone so fast!

LeftWhisker · 30/05/2024 10:04

Very tough week, not lost anything. I must listen to this week's seminar twice to find strength and concentration

Coco2023 · 30/05/2024 14:40

I've had a bad start... was away 3 of the weekends so I'm just two pounds down on my start weight. I'm going to give it my all for the next 5 weeks now. @Thisisthedawningoftheageofaquarius do you have any tips. My dare to dream would probably have been similar to you. I'm a large size 8 at the moment closer to a 10 but all my clothes are far too tight so I'm thinking a stone will get me back into my size 8's comfortably. Any other tips from others would be really appreciated. Has anyone found that cutting back on the carbs has made a difference? It definitely does for me but I find it hard to maintain it. Not sure if it's realistic to expect to loose 12 pounds in the next 5 weeks!

Thisisthedawningoftheageofaquarius · 30/05/2024 16:29

Hi @Coco2023 ! I’m down 15 in 5 weeks so it’s def possible!!
I didn’t think it would be so you can def do it.
just stick 100% to the plan - count every calorie and I do a half hour walk at lunch and then 60 + mins in the evening (mostly around 70/75)
once you’re doing that and listening to the vids you’ll be fine!
also I would give up alcohol for the month to get the best result.
hope that helps!

ConcussedPigeon · 05/06/2024 13:07

How’s everyone done today? Seen the seminar?! 😱

Happymama24 · 05/06/2024 15:58

@ConcussedPigeon I am down 1.5lbs.
16.5lbs total. Slower the last 2 weigh ins. I am happy it's still moving in the right direction.
How is everyone else getting on?
I have only watched the first 30mins of seminar

Thisisthedawningoftheageofaquarius · 05/06/2024 21:24

Am up half but expected that as I’d a few events and lots of wine at weekend. Back at it tho and still really happy overall with progress

watched seminar - we are going away for long weekend tomo night and I’m working tomorrow so not sure when I can start new plan and might be a modified version.

ConcussedPigeon · 06/06/2024 09:20

Well done @Happymama24.

That’s a good result @Thisisthedawningoftheageofaquarius given you’ve had all that on!

I’m down 2.25lb. I’ll give the new regime a go - but, husband’s birthday tomorrow and he’s requested we go out for a curry, and I’m at a work conference and dinner for a couple of nights next week, so will just have to do the best I can.

Happymama24 · 13/06/2024 14:23

Hi everyone, how are you getting on? I found the new diet really tough and didn't quite stick to it. We are going away on Sunday for a week. It's unfortunate but I knew when booking it. I'm still glad U started and made some progress

ConcussedPigeon · 13/06/2024 23:50

I’ve been giving the new diet a go, but have struggled. This week has been husband’s birthday and three days away at work at a conference with dinners/flights etc - so no control over what food we’re given (I avoided breads and dessert) and no more than 5 minutes to myself, so no walk!!!

I was watching the seminar over dodgy WiFi in my hotel room last night and am sure I dropped off at one point. What are we meant to be doing for him??!

Thisisthedawningoftheageofaquarius · 27/06/2024 12:37

How’s everyone on the final week? Dropped the 10% which was more than my start goal (16 pounds) so delighted / can really see it.

ConcussedPigeon · 27/06/2024 14:20

Hi! Can’t quite believe how fast this 10 weeks has gone. I’m down 18lb and got my 10% last week.

Anyone signing up for September? I’d like to lose more. Bit worried about going off track between next week and September without Ger in my ear!

Happymama24 · 29/06/2024 09:57

Hi everyone, I also cannot believe we are at the end. I have signed up again for the September program.
I am 20lbs.
1.5lbs more to reach 10%, hoping to get that on the last weigh in.
I was away on holiday for a week. I had all the intention of walking every day but life, kids etc got in the way. I was really good with keeping alcohol to a minimum. I did have a small gain but a few days home and I was back to my weight before holidays.
I have gone through my wardrobe and hope to do the 10k Monday morning when kids are in camp.

Happymama24 · 29/06/2024 09:58

I forgot to say well done everyone, fantastic weight loss!
Is anyone else signing back up?
