this is my first time properly counting calories and it’s been eye opening! I like the way he keeps reminding you it’s only ten weeks; and focusing on how you’ll feel at the end; I’ve never really done that before.
so far so good anyway!

I think ppl are unfair about Ger's seminars at the beginning of the program. There's a lot of content and info he shares and those can't be done in bullet points.
I just did my crocheting g and got on with it tonight. I may listen again tomorrow.

Where are they hard leftwhiskers? Is it Facebook or somewhere?
The seminars are quite long this week but definitely some parts were useful. I suspect they are going to be an important part in keeping us on track for the entire course. We will see! I think: I’ve paid a chunk of money so going to try to do whatever they tell me; as what I’ve been doing hasn’t worked unfortunately

I’m enjoying it so far and have been falling asleep to Ger’s positive whispers.

I had a pre-planned meal for a family celebration last night, but managed just to go over my allowance by 60 calories for the day.

I have a few things planned over the next 10 weeks that are unavoidable (weekend away, day at races) but will just do the best I can.

Enjoying the walks but will enjoy them more when it’s less cold & drizzly!

Hi all, sorry I have been so silent. So I started well on Thursday. Then went out to a 40th bday party on Friday and Saturday was a right off. So disappointed as it’s my old ways and Ger talks about old ways.
Anyway I am back on it today. With the walks, I like going with someone but obviously everyone has a different schedule. I can’t find the motivation to go by myself. What do you all do to motivate yourselves? x

How is everyone getting on? I’m getting to grips with the calorie counting and not doing too badly. I’m finding the positive whispers great for keeping me on track. Have yet to manage one hour of walking in one go. There has been something every day so far. Hopefully this evening when I drop DC
off at activity will get it done.

I am using positive whispers audio at night to fall asleep to. Calorie counting works better than I anticipated. My appetite is under control and I think my body is switching over to using fat for fuel so not feeling cold.
Doing it 100% is easier than doing it 80% is so true!

This program seems to be v.popular in Ireland judging from FB group activity. Over all I am set in this new routine, Walking in glorious sunshine at lunchtime is a bliss. Even if sweat drips down my spine 😎

It’s under Gerard’s Tips. There’s a version with a wake up, or one without. I listen to the one without as I fall asleep.

@Focalpoint well done, 4 lbs down here as well! How do you feel about it?
I'm very happy with that and I am planning to stick to plan 100% this week. I did the walking every day but there was 2 days I had a treat that I knew I shouldn't. We had my son's birthday and they had been left over. I am better when treats are not lying around the house

Brilliant! I did the last programme so found the groove quite easily. I know it works if you stick to it and it is easier for me to do it 100% rather than wasting energy debating or risking the slippery slope.

Yay down 8 today!!!! Prob put on a few just before as I ate all around me at the weekend but delighted!!! Have been 100% ad I know if I start deviating I’ll be a disaster and quit

Well done all! Down 6 here. I am having physio on knee so haven't been able to manage the walking fully but have followed the rest 100% cause I know if I deviate I’ll be gone.

Down 4 and very happy with it as well. I am also going to stick with it 100% this week. No treats here but if I stick to IF it would be beneficial for me.
