I'm doing daily weigh ins, I find it more motivating. It might not be for everyone but if anyone would like to join in with posting every day your weight and loss, and how the day has gone - to stay in focus. Good luck!

I've been stuck for a couple of weeks but finally saw a 2 on the scale this morning. I'm possibly a bit dehydrated but it's still motivating to see a loss finally.

9st 2.75lbs

I'm aiming for just under 9st before my holiday so 3lbs ish to go!

Hi all

I am thrilled to see 11 on the scales. Never thought I would see the day 11 seemed good. I am still keeping focus since it is now less than 4 weeks until my holiday. Smashed my goal of 12st for holiday. My concern is once I am back from holiday, keeping this up without something specific to focus on.

I haven't changed since last week... still bobbing between 12st 13lbs and 13st 0lbs. I seem to be on the cusp somewhere. It's been demotivating and I can feel myself losing focus and wanting to give up and just snack instead. Ugh. Torn between being gentle and realising I've been strict for over 6 months so a week or so less strict isn't really a problem, or thinking a week or so less strict is ridiculous and I'm just going to balloon.

Thanks @spackleplumb I do know how you feel. I've had a new coil fitted and my hormones have been all over the place so keep hanging onto weight for a bit, and it is so demotivating when you don't see it going down. Your body will get back to losing, but being strict on yourself and not seeing change is hard.

I'm happy today! 12st 11.4lbs!
Back to losing again and I've not been that strict with myself the past few days. Gradually realising I'm only 10lbs away from no longer being obese and could achieve that in then next 6 weeks or so hopefully. I've also done a big clothes shop cos everything I own is hanging off me terribly. Excited for size 14 jeans as at my heaviest I'd been in size 20 for jeans and verging on 22 in some brands. Hope everyone has a good week!

Well done @spackleplumb an amazing achievement, I am buying clothes on Vinted, especially holiday stuff, as I hope it won't fit for too long.

I am looking forward to getting back to a 14, I am very curvy, big hips, so still
firmly a 16 right now.

Well done all. I had a fast half a kg drop off after a very stagnant couple of weeks. My FUPA is finally going down a little bit

The size 12 stuff I bought is now getting too big which is so annoying. I have to learn to sew!

I have half a pound to lose and I will be exactly halfway on my weight loss journey. Have had a few really hungry days lately. Sometimes I just eat more and then get back to it the next day. I've learned that is the answer to keep me going.

Updating to keep me focused. Today I'm 12st 10lbs exactly so that's a 1.4lb loss over the past week. Not a big loss but a sustainable one and as I'm now 6 months into the weight loss journey it's a little slower. Happy that "overweight" is almost in sight as silly as that sounds! Looking forward to not being in the obese category by summer Smile Not sure I'll ever reach "healthy weight" but I'll give it a good try.

Hello everyone

I might jump on and post for the rest of the week to keep me focused too. I’m going away for the weekend on Friday. So I’m going all in till then. I started last Wednesday doing fast 800 but it’s been more like fast 1000. Can’t seem to get to 800 having 3 meals even if they’re small.

sw - 13st 0.5 lb
cw - 12 st 10.5 lb

gw - short term 12st 6lbs
that would get me back to what I was before Christmas last year

gw long term - not sure
11st 6lbs would be awesome - size 12 at that.
10st 6lbs I’d officially be a healthy weight. But I don’t remember being that weight as an adult so seems very far off.

scales haven’t moved from yesterday. Had a pretty good day food wise and was really active. Hoped they’d have gone down a bit. But did have some popcorn after I usually stop eating so probably to do with that.

scales have barely moved for the last 3 days despite feeling like I’ve been really on it diet wise (1000cals a day) and pretty active. Got my period today which is a bit all over the place so expect it’s just been that. Hopefully see a drop in a day or 2

@Itsalwayssomething hi! You are doing great. Period week always has my weight either up slightly or not moving so I think you're right and it's making a difference for you too. You sound like you're doing well though. I haven't weighed myself today but I did snack a bit yesterday and went up to 1500 calories for the day (I've been sticking pretty strictly to 1000-1200 a day for over 6 months so it felt a lot yesterday) Back on it today! I'd like to get to 12st by the end of June if possible so that's my current mini goal (currently 12st 10lbs) Hoping to reach my 10st 2lb goal by October so plenty time left.

Yes same weight! I started at 16st 5lbs in October and have reached current weight with lots of mini goals to keep me going Wink I think I'd have given up ages ago without them if I'm honest. Aiming for overweight as currently still obese (just!) and then I'll get aiming for healthy weight haha. Baby steps.

similar here. I’d just tipped into obese catagory. Back into overweight now. Healthy for me is 10st 6/7. I can’t imagine being that weight. Don’t remember a time as an adult I was. I was 11 6 at my wedding and felt quite good at that. I’ll aim for 12 st and then 11 6 after and see where I go from there.

I've had an awful weekend where I just ate and ate, huge amounts of high calorie food. I don't even know why, I am trying to get back on it today. I need to realise I have done well so far and it's only a blip. Gained a couple of lbs, but they will come off again.

I agree mini goals are the way forward. That next half a stone etc.

good attitude. Can’t change the past. Onwards and upwards! It’s funny how that happens sometimes. I came off track at Christmas and that’s me only just getting back to it properly last week. Just could not get my head back in the right frame of mind!

I’m stuck at a weight for a while now. I’ve tracked my calories this week to see where I am going wrong, it’s only been a week I am stuck but overall I’ve been hovering up and down the same 2lbs for a month. I suspect it is as I have a shoulder injury and it’s raining I am doing less exercise than I should so I am going to try to change things up a bit. At this rate I am not going to hit my goal target by end of July and that is frustrating as I will have been doing this for 18 months! I also start to question if my target is right for me, I don’t want to stop losing yet as my BMI is still just over 25 and I can see I still need to lose fat on my belly and thighs. These 4kg now are the hardest!

I'm still 2lbs up on where I was last week after my mad eating weekend. But this week has been stressful, so maybe my body is holding onto it for now.
