Anyone care to join me in a general sort myself out thread.

I am starting tomorrow. I'm a mess, too fat, hair needs sorting, skin care routine needed and a lot more looking after myself.

Not sure of my weight but I'm guessing a good couple of stones needs to go. I have a drawer full of unused beauty products that I can't be bothered to use because I feel like what's the point.

I hate to mention Christmas, but it's 120 days until Christmas Eve. I reckon I could make improvements in that time.

I will weigh myself in the morning and use Mondays as my weigh day.

Not really… but hoping to get some of the money back!

I haven’t had the guts to get on the scales yet, but I’ve avoided carbs so far - it’s a start!

3 lbs off for me this week so I'm pleased with that. I know it'll tail off soon though - I usually lose a lot in the first couple of weeks.

I haven't lost anything yet, but did have a hideous time in a changing room yesterday trying on work clothes and being forced to look at myself in the changing room mirror - is there anything worse?! Anyway, it's given my motivation to lose weight and firm up a bit of a boost!

2.5lbs down this week, which included a weekend away with lots of wine and eating out. So pretty happy with any loss.

I came back from hols weighing 13.12.4 on Sunday morning, and have been steadily losing since - 13.10.6 this morning. And more or less sticking with potatoes only for lunch. Decaf coffee with whole milk throughout the day, and normal dinner (including pudding). I recommend it if anyone fancies a change. I used to go low carb and do love that, but this is giving me a lot more freedom, and still losing weight. I did a Joe Wicks beginners exercise video yesterday, will do that 3x a week. I'm pretty surprised it's going so well, but I had got to the stage if being quite disgusted and ashamed, which helps me a bit.

Hello! Still here! Weight was fluctuating a bit this week which annoyed me but then my period started today so I'm blaming that. Think I'll wait till it's over before I weight myself again!

Hi 👋 been putting off my weight loss journey for waaay too long. Had a miserable summer in that I just felt huge in everything and I'm shocked at every photo of me as I can't believe I'm that big (until I see the pic and realise that I am). I have never been this overweight. I've probably got about 3st to lose at least.
Anyway, been putting off SW or WW as just couldn't face it, plus I know exactly what I need to do and how to do it, just need the Motivation. I downloaded the NHS weight loss app and have been logging my calories in that, so fingers crossed I'll see some weight loss soon, its only day 2 but so far so good!!

Back from a very enjoyable few days away and now stepped on the scales for a very unenjoyable weigh in. So back to to it today and I am back where I started at 10st 5lbs with 7 pounds to lose.

I am so annoyed with myself especially as I cannot blame anyone else😁

I'm in the week before my period during which I retain fluid like mad. So I'm not working myself until
After it, because I know if I do I will be upset and disheartened. Sticking to low carb pretty well and haven't drunk any wine mid week as I usually would (one or two glasses on a wednesday) so happy with self for that.

I wanted to go swimming later but all the adult swims near me are fully booked probably due to the weather. Will wait for it to cool
Down and then go for a decent walk instead .

I'm also in my pre menstrual week, so eating more chocolate and generally more hungry. I'm trying to go with it, not let it get out of hand, but I'm f I stay the same this week that's ok, as long as I get back on it once I get my period.

its waaaaay too hot in london. I’m down 11 pounds since 14 august when I started so I’m chuffed with that!! Aiming for a stone by the month mark though that seems ambitious as lots of fun stuff planned this weekend though so anticipating a small gain over the weekend!!

Morning all hope everyone is having a good weekend. Exactly 7 months until my wedding and I'm 6 lbs down so I'm chuffed with that! It'll probably slow down now (sadly, not my first diet!) but I'm hoping to keep a steady loss overall.

Right, this is it, no more messing about - weighed in at 10st 5.4 lbs and I want to be 9st 12lbs.

My Mum died in May and I have to return to UK next month to clear out her home and do not want everyone to be telling me how 'well' I look. So I have four weeks to lose 7.4 pounds.

Plan is ----- stop bloody messing about!

Hello, still here! Going to brave scales tomorrow as period is just finishing up. I cheated and had an (ridiculously large with loads of toppings) ice cream at the weekend at the beach, but one ice cream can't do THAT much can it?! Blush
