@WhyDoesItAlways Bring some souvenirs home for us! Kidding of course but have a great time.

@Diedre44 I was my hair 1-2x a week and easily get that much coming out in the bath. I’m taking biotin and collagen and it helps a lot.

Imagine explaining that to customs!

MotherofTerriers · 21/08/2023 20:33

Thank you! I probably wouldn't buy there, too big a risk of counterfeit products I suspect. Plus me wandering round downtown Cancun asking for some drugs to make me thin may not be the best of ideas....

Twilightstarbright · 21/08/2023 21:40

Definitely a high risk of counterfeit products!

@Athena51 well done on your progress.

UsernameFail · 21/08/2023 22:25

Wowzers @Athena51 !! What a phenomenal weight loss!! Well done

Karmakamelion · 21/08/2023 23:09

I'm in Turkey atm and it seems relatively easy and cheap to get hold of but I'm resisting! Well done everyone. I'm praying that wergovy is coming soon
Quick meds told me ages ago that they were hoping to get it at the original prices (OF OZ) at the end of August so here hoping !

HolidayHappy123 · 22/08/2023 15:07

Wow @Athena51 that is truly impressive. You should be so proud of yourself. Truly inspirational!

May I ask please how long it has taken you to lose such a spectacular amount and whether you have been on Ozempic the whole time.

VanellopeVonSchweetz99 · 22/08/2023 17:44

Haven't done a weigh in this week because, TMI: the dreaded constipation is back 🙄, but measured my waist and it's down 2.7 inches in a week?! I tried on an ancient favorite skirt in size 12 and it fit! What sorcery is this? In February I was size 18-20!
If I try to analyze it, it might be down to a conscious effort to drink lots more water in the past two weeks, and being really selfish with my sleep.

DrMadelineMaxwell · 23/08/2023 17:38

I'm only overweight now. And the lightest I've been in at least 10 years. Although I have some way to go for a healthy BMI I am in a 14 and getting lovely compliments from people.
It is making the decision to come off it difficult despite the price hike as I'm worried about reverting to past habits.

I have 3 0.5 doses left in my 1mg pen and still no news on when I can get another 1mg. So I'm going to push back my doses a little and see how I get on with that. I could bear to pay 225 if I was getting 8 weeks out of the pen but not for 4. So I might refill my 0.5 that I can get but count clicks to dose slightly under to get an extra week or two out of it. If it stops working I'm sure I'll soon know!

I’m now 9st 5 so in my healthy weight range. I’m still looking to lose a stone as I’m only 5ft 2. I managed to stock pile a little so I have enough to last me until after Christmas. I plan on still buying wegovy and using it as 1mg then 0.5 to maintain as I think without it I’ll just put it back on. To me this is like antidepressants or my epilepsy meds, I expect to be on it for life.

whereareyousleep · 23/08/2023 21:33

I've been stuck putting the same pound on and losing it for the last 4 weeks and it is really frustrating I only managed 1 week on 1mg as the shortage started (I'm with juniper) so I went down to 0.5 rather than do 4 weeks on 1mg then have to drop. I think I really need to move up to the 1mg dose but obviously can't I calorie count too but have a very under active thyroid . I started 3rd may and have lost 1st 9lb but I still have another 5st to go. Hoping the shortage gets better soon

Twilightstarbright · 24/08/2023 09:21

I’ve plateaued a bit, the scale hasn’t moved more than 1lb overall this month but clothes that didn’t fit in late July now do so I’m happy.

Rightangled has Wegovy online but out of stock so it feels like retailers are expecting to have it soon?

I wonder what dose the £99 is for..

wearedoingthis · 24/08/2023 15:44

So apparently the highest dose is listed as £99.

We shall see.

Ozempic for those a few months in - part 3
Sotiredmjmmy · 24/08/2023 16:42

Word of warning rightangled change their prices a lot, sometimes several times a day once things are in stock so I wouldn’t rely on it quite yet. Their system definitely seems to fluctuate on demand

nebulae · 24/08/2023 17:18

That's odd @Sotiredmjmmy, I've never noticed any fluctuations in their prices and I check their website often.

egowise · 24/08/2023 18:05

Just received on quickmeds WhatsApp

Wow! Congratulations on your loss that's amazing!

notapizzaeater · 24/08/2023 18:23

@egowise ty

I've had to go up to 1.25 for it still to be effective, I'm hoping it becomes available or the Wegovy hits in the next two weeks .....

wearedoingthis · 24/08/2023 19:23

Do you think quickmeds will want proof this time around that you have stayed on ozempic?

I have had a break due to prices so will build up again gradually , but if they want proof it prevents being able to buy a larger pen dose to make it last longer Hmm

Wegovy comes in 4 preloaded single use doses. It’s not a len and you can’t amend the dose.

wearedoingthis · 24/08/2023 19:27

@Cherryonthetop2019 oh okay thanks 😊

Cherryonthetop2019 · 24/08/2023 19:28

Wegovy comes like this

Ozempic for those a few months in - part 3
DrMadelineMaxwell · 24/08/2023 19:59

One pen per week? That's q wasteful in terms of rubbish compared to one pen for a month (or more). One way to stop people choosing their dosage and making it last longer.

Peridot1 · 25/08/2023 09:34

@notapizzaeater - wow! You have done amazingly. You must feel so much better in yourself.

I have my fingers crossed Wegovy launches soon too. I definitely think I need the higher doses.
