Thread was full so I've started a new one. 😀

So I've just used the fourth 0.25 and look at the picture it looks like I still have loads left - I'm thinking there are more than four doses in some pens

@WhyDoesItAlways - well I went to Boots and they said they couldn’t find it in the system. It was really busy so I said I would chase it up my end. Then I got a call from them plus a text from the text service saying it was there. But I was almost home by then. I’ll pick it up tomorrow.

Theres 2mls in both these pens, so they both contain exactly the same amount of product as each other. The different pricing is a total rip off.

For those waiting on boots, mine was quite straightforward this week, ordered on Monday for the first time and collected on Wednesday. I got a text to say I had been set up for boots text alerts and then another text a wee while later to say it was ready to collect.

Yes, there’s eight doses in the 0.25 but I was only expecting four from the 0.5 pen.

Maybe I am just viewing it wrongly and it will only be four. Probably just wishful thinking.

In other news, I haven’t had a 💩 for a week. Took two dulcolax last night. Woke in absolute agony but still no movement.

wearedonnnne, hope you're feeling better now but I would say it was the food choices rather than a sickness bug. Lots of quite high fat bits in there even if small portions (sorry)

@zempy my sympathies, I've been very uncomfortable when I've gone 4 days without one, can't imagine what it's like after a week. I suggest water, water and more water. And if you can get hold of some lactulose that would help soften it.

@wearedonnnne the only time I have had diarrhoea whilst on ozempic was after I had eaten a doughnut. I suspect that is your culprit.

@Zempy I only got a tiny amount extra from the .5 pen after all four doses, but I wasn't going to waste it! From the .25 pen I took 2 further doses at .25 and then my first .5 dose.

Theres a tiny amount extra in the pens, for testing initially to see if the pen is working. You're meant to turn the dial to the first mark & depress the button to test. You should release a small amount of liquid if the pen is patent.

Why I've just had horrific diarrhoea three weeks in not sure what caused it. I had eaten some cottage pie and veg. No cakes. Does eating cakes cause diarrhoea on ozempic?

Take fybogel and increase your water intake a lot

Just picked up my 0.5 wegovy from Boots. I am halfway through my 0.25 Ozempic and like the most recent posts on here I've been reading about getting a further couple of doses out of my 0.25 pen.
I'm not sure if it was here or another forum but I read about someone collecting their wegovy from boots and boots just handed them a bag with c. 30 extra needles in it.
I did ask my Boots if they had any extra needles but they said they couldn't give me any. I know I can order online but think they come in large packs of 100. Anyone have any tips about getting extra needles?

@whenlifegivesyou my husband had just started the same symptoms I suffered with (he hasn't taken ozempic) so it was just a bug

My Asda order for a 1mg pen has been confirmed. Delivery is expected tues-wed & I ordered on Friday.

Has anyone ordered Wegovy from Pharmacy2u? I’ve just placed an order and hoping I get it delivered

I had my prescription for 1.7mg Wegovy approved by boots online on Wednesday eve. Didn’t hear anything from the pharmacy to say it was ready, so tried calling multiple times on Saturday with no reply.

I messaged on the boots online portal and just heard back from their complaints manager to apologise and say they are working with the pharmacy to get stock and I should hopefully hear something/be able to pick up in 72 hours.

My usual injection day is today, and I have 2 boxes of 1mg Wegovy in my fridge. I’m thinking I’ll try to do a 1.5 dose today - need to look through this thread to find out how many clicks I’d need to get a 0.5 dose from a 1mg pen!

And I've just had a post office tracking email so I'm sure it is coming.
I always choose to get them sent to the post office for collection as I've never revealed to DH that I'm on this to help with my weightloss. That's private to me.

I’m the same with not having told my DH. Feel a bit guilty that he thinks the weight loss is all my own willpower!

Doesn't he ask what that pen is in the fridge?
