Just weighed myself and have lost no weight for 5 weeks. Very fed up. If the Ozempic is controlling my blood sugars then I suppose its still worth it. It's weird, clothes are fitting better and I "feel thinner" but I'm not! I've switched to jabbing my thighs instead of my tummy.

Zempy · 08/09/2023 10:42

@Cantonet OMG!! I am such a muppet! I think I was so excited it was in stock, I didn’t register the 0.25 was cheaper. I have emailed asking them to change my order…

leilani83 · 08/09/2023 11:17

I've just injected 0.25mg of Ozempic into my arm to see if changing the injection site makes any difference!

Zempy · 08/09/2023 11:32

Rightangled have changed my order and refunded the £50 difference.

Amazing customer service. Thanks so much @Cantonet . The power of mumsnet eh?

I'm the same, not lost any weight for the last month but my clothes are feeling looser.

I'll spare you all the details but my constipation well and truly resolved itself yesterday so maybe I will see some movement on the scales now.

MotherofTerriers · 08/09/2023 12:20

I've also got another problem. When I started ozempic, I gave Quickmeds my weight on my old scales which was a massive underestimate. I've since replaced the scales. But if I give quickmeds my new, accurate weight it will look as if I've gained half a stone, and I suspect my order will be rejected. I've heard of people fibbing that they are heavier than they are in order to get supplies, but I think I'm the only muppet doing it the wrong way round. I've tried to phone them to fess up but the line is always engaged

SarahC50 · 08/09/2023 12:45

@WhyDoesItAlways that's amazing brilliant news x

SarahC50 · 08/09/2023 12:51

@MotherofTerriers Ive had spells the same plateau for six weeks on the scale but definitely noticed my shape changing. Do you take measurements. I have since the start and it's amazing the inches lost from my waist and boobs especially. Even when the scale won't shift

My health coach says oh you'll be gaining muscle but I know I am not.

I'm trying to get 1mg too but I think I'll give my pre ozempic weight as BMI just under thirty now and they might not give me it. That is if I can find any I'm trying on a daily basis. I'm with juniper and they can't say a timescale for 1mg ozempic or wegovy despite claiming to be the biggest supplier. I'm on 0.75mg counting clicks

wearedoingthis · 08/09/2023 13:05

I was refreshing on quickmeds from 12.45pm and managed to get a 0.25 pen.... was aiming for the 1mg but I didn't want to risk losing it!

MotherofTerriers · 08/09/2023 13:07

@SarahC50 Yes, definite inch loss and no muscle gain. I wear maxi dresses a lot in summer and as I'm now less round they are hanging lower and I'm tripping over them going upstairs!

greylad · 08/09/2023 14:58

Is QuickMeds 1pm or 6pm?!

nebulae · 08/09/2023 15:40

@greylad Both

WeightInLine · 08/09/2023 17:34

I understand why everyone is hoping that the Ozempic price comes down, but I don’t think it will. There is unlimited demand.

The only reason it is as cheap as it is is so it can be viewed as a longish term drug by enough people who will act as successful Guinea pigs.

It is both expensive and cheap. If people know how amazing it is they’d pay twice as much for the results. For those it works for, it’s like buying confidence/health.

wearedoingthis · 08/09/2023 18:05

The excitement continues for today.

I have just managed to order 1mg wegovy so I am hoping they will be able to cancel my 0.25 ozempic

Definitely don't want 500 leaving my bank account so fingers crossed

MotherofTerriers · 08/09/2023 18:17

I've ordered 1mg Wegovy!!
I haven't run out of my Ozempic stash yet but if I leave it too long I suspect they will want to start me on 0.25

Teddypops · 08/09/2023 19:15

Boo! I tried both 1pm and 6pm and didn't get anything. I kept refreshing but was trying to get 1.7mg.

MotherofTerriers · 08/09/2023 23:25

I’ve not seen 1.7 in stock at all

Karmakamelion · 09/09/2023 10:02

@Teddypops you need to get on the site at around 12.45. Then do your consultation and then keep refreshing
It's a fraught experience but it does seem to work!

Thank you, thats exactly what I did. I will try again today with a 1mg.

Well done! How much are they charging for 1mg?

MotherofTerriers · 09/09/2023 10:58

£250. Which is better than the £300 I paid for Ozempic last time.
Doing the consultation 15 minutes before stocks come online was a good tip from @FarAndAway456 Its hard to get through the consultation when the website is overloaded

gingerbubs · 09/09/2023 11:08

I also got 1mg yesterday from quickmeds using @FarAndAway456's advice - tgank you! I haven't got my last couple of pens from them so I'm expecting they may get in touch to check I've still been on it. I keep saying to myself no more pens as its become so much more expensive, but then if I get the chance I go for it. Too hard to resist when it works so well! And as @MotherofTerriers says at least it's a bit less than I paid for last couple of ozempic pens.

wearedoingthis · 09/09/2023 11:52

My pen ordered yesterday at 1pm has just arrived. Wow l

Teddypops · 09/09/2023 11:57

I have set 2 alarms on my phone for 12.40 and 5.40 so will try again today on the 1mg. Have loaded my bank account in case I get lucky 😂

I've had a plateau for the past 4-6 weeks. I went on holiday for 2 weeks and ate and drank way too much (not as much as usual I suppose, the Ozempic had some effect). Put on 5lbs and not lost it yet. I feel the 1mg isnt doing much for me now as the food chatter is returning. I have just started my last pen and will inject every 5 days to get going again. Now that the schools are back I should be able to be more focussed. I need to meal prep and bring healthy lunches to work instead of starving myself and eating too much in the evening.

I was thinking I could go up to 1.7mg and inject every 9 days or so. But the price difference if I have 1mg and inject every 5 days isn't much I don't think.

I am really really enjoying being slimmer. I have been around the 16/17 stone mark for years and years now. I'm currently 14 stone 4 and feel so much better (even got my sex life back!!). I want to carry on to about 11.5 stone. Been on OZ since Feb.

Athena51 · 09/09/2023 18:09

Quickmeds didn't seems to have any today unless they don't release it at the weekend.

I have a 1mg Ozempic pen left but I do want to carry on a bit longer and get to a healthy BMI, I'm terrified of regaining.
