Hi I just thought I would start my own thread so I can post daily!

I have recently started fasting and I am 10 days in and lost nearly 6lbs!

SW 15st 6.8
CW 15st 1

GW under 12st!

I am using a few apps to help.. Happy Scales.. I like the way this breaks it into 10 milestones so I have smaller weight goals to aim for. And Zero to track how many hours I have fasted. I have never tried fasting before but I feel like it’s using my willpower which I needed reminding that I had! MyFitnessPal i find if I don’t track my calories I forget what I’ve eaten. My goal is 1400 a day. And finally Fitbit.. I’m aiming for 10000+ steps a day.

Im a serial calorie counter! I got down to under 10st about 7 years ago and as amazing as I felt, I also felt amazing at 12st as my clothes were much more flattering on me. I had a baby last year and I’m nearly 10 months postpartum, frustratingly I actually lost weight after I had my son as I was so sick during pregnancy and then I have found breastfeeding made me super hungry and I piled weight on by constantly snacking. The breastfeeding has cut right down now and I am finding I am not as hungry and needed to kick myself into gear.

I have attached a pic of my MyFitnessPal weight log since 2015 to show how up and down I am!

My sneaky weigh-in this morning was 13st 11lbs, so a 1lb since last Monday and 1st 12lb altogether. Inching closer to my 2 stone loss. Hopefully, I can maintain the loss over the weekend 🫰

I have been stuck at the same weight FOREVER. I'm on a virtually vegan diet for a health condition but since I went on hrt I can't lose a pound! I haven't exactly been trying but I thought it might happen as a side effect. I'm eating carbs galore but it's really hard not to on this diet because I don't like fish 🙃 Life would be much easier if I did!

Going in the wrong direction but apparently I've gained muscle 💪really I'm probably just more hydrated.

Back on the wagon this week after a crazy week last week.

Morning everyone! I had the same weigh in yesterday and this morning I was 13st 12.8. Slowly heading in the right direction. I’ve pulled some of my old work clothes out which fit me a lot better now- I am no longer bursting out of them! I also felt really restricted to the same stuff I was wearing all the time so at least I have a little more variety now!

Total loss so far -22lbs

@medianewbie Hello! And welcome! You have practically the same starting weight as me!

@Sugarfree23 well done on your muscle gain!

@MyOtherNameToday that must be really frustrating how much do you need to lose?

Same weight again today. Things have slowed down a lot over the last 10 days although I have eaten a little more than usual so no surprise really!!

13st 12.8 currently!

-22lbs… 28 to go!!

Not a good week for me. DH on a business trip, work insane, DC sick half of the week... result: 350g/0.7lbs gain (back at 87kg/191.8lbs). Hope next week is better and hope all of you get your loses this week!

Although positives… I’ve still been going to the gym twice a week. I had a homemade chocolate brownie the other day and it didn’t cause me to binge! Ive stuck to 6/8 hour eating windows since mid July! On the nights I didn’t go to the gym I went for a brisk walk to up my steps to 10000.

@Crikeyalmighty at least you’re 30lb lighter than you were this time last year! That’s brilliant!! Slow progress is hard on motivation though! Been out and done my steps for tonight .. wondering what the scales will tell me tomorrow!!

@LittleGlowingOblong yes please join! Welcome! What are your plans to lose? I am currently on less calories done through eating between 1 & 6. I can’t call it intermittent fasting as I only drink cordial 😂

I’d like to get down to 10st 7lbs maybe 12st more realistic!

Planning to try a mix of IF, reducing sugar and carns, and daily steps, regular gym. Also no booze.

Woke up this morning and finally had a little drop I’m 13st 11.6 so down 1.2lbs 🎉
Got a busy day today all over the place so main aim is try not to snack on crap!!

@LittleGlowingOblong sounds like a good plan! Is today day 1? You can do it!

Same weight today had a Chinese for tea last night so expected an increase this morning! Had a few comments yesterday from a few people that they could tell I’d lost weight which was lovely! I am 4.8lbs away from a total loss of 2 stone! So that is my next goal!

13st 9.5lbs this morning. So only half a lb this week, which isn't huge but is still a step in the right direction. So close to 2 stone lost! Fingers crossed for next week 🤞

Can I join you all? I just posted the below on another thread too - but I'd love to join you all here.

As my username suggests, I have lost and regained so much weight over the years. I am trying something a bit different this time, which is to just try to lose about 10lbs and then have a few weeks off where I try to maintain that weight. ie trying to do this VERY SLOOOOWLY to see if that helps prevent the rebound.

I am also trying to have plenty of days where I eat normally - not excessively, but not limited either. So that I never really feel deprived and instead TRY to find something sustainable.

Earlier this year I lost 10lbs and then paused. In the last month I've restarted and am 5lbs down on the next 10lbs - which I hope to have done by Xmas.

I am trying to come to terms with the fact that it will (and probably should) take me a couple of years to lose the 55-70lbs I need to to get to a healthy weight. And even if I never get that far, anything is better than nothing and nothing is better than gaining.

Hi, yesterday I weighted in at 12st 5.9lb which is a decent drop from last week 12st 8.7lb.

I'm still upset I gained weight on our weekend away. Aim at the moment is to be back under 12st 4 at the end of the month. And not gain on our other short trip.
Going by my phone I'm due a period soon so that should help with a bit of weight loss. Even if it's not real loss.

Morning everyone. I was 13st 11.2 this morning. My app is telling me I am losing an average of 2lbs a week although it feels a lot slower!! I have upped my calories (not on purpose!) by about 1-300 calories a day just as people offer me snacks etc. So it must make a difference in my loss in my overall week as the scales were definitely moving a bit quicker a few weeks ago!! I am going to TRY less snacks although it’s hard to say no. Just glad I am still losing!

Total loss so far.. 23.6 so close to halfway to 50!

You are doing fantastic 2lb loss a week, week after week, is still really good going.

And losses will naturally slow as you use less energy to move a lighter weight body around.

@Bumblebeebum23 well done it’s a little disheartening when the scales don’t move as much as you want but it’s better than no loss! Keep it up!

@FatThinFatThinFatThin i don’t know if you saw my first graph where I’m up down up down but I’m exactly the same! Hoping I get to my low and stay there this time! I usually find it really difficult to stick to but I’m finding it not too bad at the minute.. good luck and keep checking in!

@Sugarfree23 thats an excellent drop! Hopefully if you get another 2lb next week you’re back to where you want to be. I think sometimes we have to expect the gains on the weekends away as we have enjoyed ourselves and we can’t restrict every day for the rest of our lives. Even though it’s frustrating when we weigh afterwards!

@Cookiedough123 yes it's frustrating but that's probably another way to look at it. If I hadn't made an effort when we came back our summer holidays, that increase from the weekend would have busted 13½ stone which is really heavy for a shorty at 5ft 2.

Hi everyone! What a wet miserable day it is today!

Good weigh in this morning I am now … 13st 10.6.

This makes my total loss so far……

24.2lbs! So close to 2 stone loss!! And very close to half way to 50!! We are around 11 weeks on since the start of the thread and we are all doing so well!

I won’t have a great steps day today with the weather being like this but I’m hoping it might stop later 🤞🤞
