Hi I just thought I would start my own thread so I can post daily!

I have recently started fasting and I am 10 days in and lost nearly 6lbs!

SW 15st 6.8
CW 15st 1

GW under 12st!

I am using a few apps to help.. Happy Scales.. I like the way this breaks it into 10 milestones so I have smaller weight goals to aim for. And Zero to track how many hours I have fasted. I have never tried fasting before but I feel like it’s using my willpower which I needed reminding that I had! MyFitnessPal i find if I don’t track my calories I forget what I’ve eaten. My goal is 1400 a day. And finally Fitbit.. I’m aiming for 10000+ steps a day.

Im a serial calorie counter! I got down to under 10st about 7 years ago and as amazing as I felt, I also felt amazing at 12st as my clothes were much more flattering on me. I had a baby last year and I’m nearly 10 months postpartum, frustratingly I actually lost weight after I had my son as I was so sick during pregnancy and then I have found breastfeeding made me super hungry and I piled weight on by constantly snacking. The breastfeeding has cut right down now and I am finding I am not as hungry and needed to kick myself into gear.

I have attached a pic of my MyFitnessPal weight log since 2015 to show how up and down I am!

@Cookiedough123 great to hear from you. Sounds like you have had an amazing summer.

I work in schools too, so feel exactly the same about September feeling like a fresh start/new year.

I have to say at the moment, I haven't been great....still in holiday mode and I also know it's my 40th birthday in a few weeks which is giving me excuses to wait until after all the celebrations before "being good". However, back to work tomorrow, so I am going to try and get myself back on track (at least for a bit)

I've also lost my way, fell off the wagon, slowly climbing back on. I'm Scotland so a couple of weeks in front of you.

At one point I hit 12st 4, then slowly creapt back to 12st 10 before getting a grip, and I'm back at 12st 6.
Starting with a personal trainer today 💪 I'm not setting my sights too high but I've signed up to 12 weeks and hoping to bin a stone in that time. Obviously it needs to be more that just the hour session with her and keeping an eye out in the kitchen.

Welcome back @Sugarfree23 glad to hear from you. Well done for getting back on track, and I hope your PT session went well.

I'm going to make Wednesday my official weigh-in day now (as that's when I weighed in last week. So 11st 10.5lbs this week. 1.5 lbs lost. Not bad considering I haven't been particularly focussed this week.

Going to try and be "on it" this week before my birthday celebrations ensue next Thurs!

Thanks @Bumblebeebum23 how did your weight in go?

My lesson this week is just before my period starts my Body scales go a bit mental and think I gained 10lb of muscle and dropped 10lb of fat. Clearly this isn't right and it has to have something to do with hydration levels, retaining fluid just before period.

I've noticed crazy swings before but never actually tied it to time of the month.

Not much from me I was 13st 3 this morning. I really need a kick up the bum with my eating. I’ve been running and going the gym. But my diet is not good! I was thinking of trying some books to give me some motivation have either of you read anything you would recommend?

Just in case anyone wants to join me. I've started a fresh thread in the hope that I can re-motivate myself. It's titled "New thread for renewed motivation". I've been off the rails and want to get back on it before I end up weighing 16 stone again!!
