5st to loose, 26 weeks, 1:1 diet

oddwellingtonboots · 13/06/2023 22:10

Hallo everyone,

Jumping on here as I have set a target to loose as much weight as possible before Christmas.

Starting stats
16st 2lbs
5ft 6
Age 39
Size 18

Due to other health issues I need a healthy BMI to qualify for a breast reduction and life insurance, both of which I'd like to have by 2024.

Target weight is 11st. Going to start on 1:1 when I'm back from working away next week so I can get my delivery, see how that goes for a couple of months.

Anyone else in a similar situation?

Xx

First of all - Well done @ZeroFucksGivenToday that's great, so good to hear from you and it's awesome that you've been doing so well! How do you feel in yourself? I imagine you can see a real difference in how lose your clothes are. I'm not surprised you're buzzing and I don't want to rain on your parade but if you'll forgive me for being a bit mumsy, that's 22lb in six weeks. You're burning fat at the same rate I am but you're half the size (almost) don't put too much pressure on yourself. At your size 1-2 pounds a week, or upto 1kg is a sensible goal.

@Bumblebeebum23 Good work! Well done and that next mini goal is really just around the corner!

Morning @Willowview welcome to the Monday club! 🎉woohoo you're not just below 17 you're well below 17st. Terrific work.

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 25/09/2023 08:23

ok monday update from me

sw 150kg
cw 133kg
tw 60kg

loss since last weigh in 1.0kg average calories over the last week 1106
most recent mini goal 135kg 10% body weight lost
next mini goal 127.5kg 15% body weight lost

One week left to go this quarter and looking at the stats I'm pleased to report that as I reach the half way point I have lost 2 1/2 st and am on track to have lost 5st by Christmas.

Willowview · 25/09/2023 08:41

That's cracking @Bumblebeebum23 , sorry, cross posted and missed your result, well done!

@stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk you're smashing it, that's dedicated weight loss, congratulations. Thanks, I'm happy to be part of the Monday club x

ZeroFucksGivenToday · 25/09/2023 14:18

@stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk well done. That's awesome.

And I didn't take your comment mumsy at all. :) I'm tending to lose 1lb and then the following week I shift 2.5lb. I just dropped 11.5lb in first two weeks which gave me a huge boost.

Im loving how my clothes are now fitting and I can see the change.

again some excellent losses on thread. So huge congrats to all. As it's not easy to do that's for sure. :)

so for those on 1:1 what are your fave foods?
i live on their ready made choc shakes, veg soup, chicken noodle soup and their salted caramel bites at the moment.

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 25/09/2023 14:45

@ZeroFucksGivenToday It sounds like you've got an awesome attitude and it's going really well for you. I'm using some products as meal replacements but not the Cambridge brand, although they sound nice.

I'm using huel powder to make shakes: chocolate, banana, caramel coffee atm.
and huel bars, peanut butter & salted caramel flavour.

I'm on an average of 1200 kcal per day, and a 16:8 intermittent fasting pattern. Carbs <50% of calories, <25g of sugar a day. A lot of food does taste quite a lot different / better after a month on low sugar I must say.

ZeroFucksGivenToday · 25/09/2023 14:57

I'm currently on 800 cals per day. Although I've had off days where I've had a little extra. (And a whole weekend off!).

I can't comment on the food as I'm just eating the 1:1 stuff mostly, but I'm definitely feeling fitter, walking a bit quicker. Running up the stairs etc. and I'm sleeping way better than I have in months. Also got rid of low level headaches I've had for a while. Although I'm really pushing for the 2.5ltr of water per day so that's probably really helping. :)

All of that sounds super positive

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 25/09/2023 16:07

So if I understand correctly you're at step 1 where everything you eat is a 1:1 product and you have 3 or 4 a day?

ZeroFucksGivenToday · 25/09/2023 18:27

I'm 95% on step one, but occasionally have a pack of garlic and chilli prawns and some cucumber to dip in the sauce. Or a spinach omelette.
Im having 4 products per day still. :) (unless I switch one out as above!).

ZeroFucksGivenToday · 25/09/2023 18:29

My consultant is fab. A previous one (a few years back) was militant! This one gets that life happens, so I went away with my daughter for the weekend and I was off plan for the Saturday evening and Sunday morning (hotel breakfast!), she was much more ok that works, let's see how we can get you back on track on Monday etc. :) so I like her and don't massively miss out that way.

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 26/09/2023 10:25

She sounds really helpful

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 26/09/2023 10:28

I thought I'd mention it to you guys as you might appreciate it but my BMI dropped sharply yesterday when I discovered I was 4cm taller than the figure I had been using.

I'm slightly above average rather than slightly below average. So yay go me!

Hurryupharry · 26/09/2023 11:20

Hi, Happy Tuesday - wow there’s some seriously great progress being made here! You should all be so proud of the determination you are showing to move things along for yourself 💪🏻
I have been feeling pretty positive about myself too. Non scales victories in no longer having a wardrobe with clothes that don’t fit me- everything is now in my main wardrobe .
I have been getting to the gym and actually looking forward to it and my weight is slowly edging down. Next target is under 100kg and 2 stone lost 🤞🏼

CW- 15.11

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 26/09/2023 18:07

That's awesome @Hurryupharry non scale victories absolutely go hand in hand with the weight loss. It's all about having a positive mental attitude and taking control of your life. Getting under 100kg is an awesome milestone to aim for, so exciting you're really close to 2stone lost as well!

Willowview · 27/09/2023 07:34

Morning all 🦋

Ha ha, love the gif @stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk , result!!

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 02/10/2023 08:38

ok Monday update from me

sw 150kg
cw 132.8kg
tw 60kg

0.8kg drop in weight (about 1 .75lbs)

I did stats for September
Average kcal consumed per day over the last 5 weeks 1197
Average loss per week over the same period 1.44kg
Weight start/end of September 139.4 / 132.2
Total loss of 7.2Kg just over a stone in 5 weeks
(from the week commencing 28/8)

Bumblebeebum23 · 02/10/2023 08:45

Wow, great stuff @stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk you are doing so well x

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 02/10/2023 09:35

thanks @Bumblebeebum23

It's also the end of the quarter.

My original goal was 10kg in 13 weeks. I then got more ambitious / confident and wanted to do 15kg, and then maybe a bit overconfident / cocky and wanted to do 20kg.

Final loss for the quarter 17.5kg

Willowview · 02/10/2023 11:37

Well done @Bumblebeebum23 and @stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk awesome progress

X

I've gained this week, 1lb on so I'm now 16st 17.5lbs.

Not sad as I've had a shitty week. An argument with my eldest son and some ongoing health issues.

Erratic behaviour, and must try harder, my old report comments spring to mind 🤭

X

Willowview · 02/10/2023 11:39

Sorry 16st 13.5lbs
