discoverlife · 18/02/2008 23:27

Nah katy be a pessemist that way you won't be disapointed and may well be pleasantly surprised.

LoveMyGirls · 19/02/2008 08:10

Katy - I think you will have done well, you have been good this week I think you should be rewarded although your af is due so might not show til next week but your hard work will pay off just like mine better had!! Good luck!

belcantavinissima · 19/02/2008 09:21

put on another pound this week at ww. its so shameful. i know next week i will prob lose 2 or 3- this seems to be the pattern, 3 off, 1 on.
lots of us last night had bad results, one poor girl actually burst into tears at the scales and was properly sobbing and snorting . it was very awkward, noone knew what to do really. poor girl. wonder if she'll come back next week she must feel so embarassed this morning.

Jahan · 19/02/2008 10:27

I'm sure you'll do it Katy! You've been v. good.

Don't worry, Bel.
You're going in the right direction.
Don't get down and depressed.
Its not shameful. We all have good weeks and bad weeks.
How much have you lost so far?
You need to congratulate yourself on what you've achieved and then go for it this week.
You can do it!

dinny · 19/02/2008 10:29

Hello! Keep meaning to come and join this thread.... Started WW and lost 2.5 in first week and 3.5 last week. Weigh-in tomorrow, but am not expecting it to be good as have lost focus a bit and eaten carelessly. ARGH!

katylessbumpy · 19/02/2008 11:57

hiya dinny

my belly hurts today.i feel so bloated so i'm drinking loads of water to try and flush it out.i've already done a 3mile walk so hopefully the scales will be my friend.

Hi ladies,
I don't know if the High Protien diet is working regards weight loss, but I definatly feel better in myself. I don't feel so sluggish any more. mind you I have never really been one for bread, if I have a bacon butty, half the bread ends up in the bin. I do like the occasional slice of really fresh uncut bread with pastrami and tomato, but even then I throw away some of the bread. Rice, Pasta and potato's are take it or leave it. So I am going to do what my bod wants, not what the books say I should do. I also eat LOADS of veg, I love it, I have twice as much on my plate as anyone else in the family.
I also read that your blood group can affect your dieting success, and I am an 'O' neg and that is supposed to be a meat diet.

fedda · 19/02/2008 13:52

Hi, dinny, warm welcome to the thread.

fedda · 19/02/2008 13:54

B - poridge with dried appricots and honey
L - white bread sandwich with cheese and cucumber, tea with 1 sugar and crackers (don't ask how many, I well if you insist, 6. Feel like a cracker myself) and some dried apricots/
D will be chicken curry with rice
I'll also have my 2 sugared coffee with more crackers.

discoverlife · 19/02/2008 14:36

Just had the word from my Mum about DS2. They are settled in a really nice chalet (Mum paid for the most expensive) and last night they had a really big dinner (half board) and DS2 had 2 portions of apple crumble and custard. Today he is Quad biking, Go-carting and doing a session of snorkling all for £10 (3X 1 1/2 hour sessions) so I think the idea of going somewhere with him has been a success.

belcantavinissima · 19/02/2008 16:57

thanks jahan, i have lost 9.5 lbs in 4 weeks (well last night was my 5th weigh in inc my first so dont count that one!!!)

feeling rubbish today, took kids to the zoo today then finished with a migraine, head better but feeling sick bleeuuugh. and got to go out tonight to visit my brother's brother and their new baby (brother is talking to me again now hurrah!)

pollywobbledoodle · 19/02/2008 18:00

evening everyone

bel that is a great loss....please don't use words like shameful ....it's one of the feelings that make me avoid groups with pubic weigh-ins

hallo dinny, weren't you on the original thread?

katy, keep pysl ....it gets rid of bloat!

well i have been to the gynae people today so yet another dr can rummage in my poor body....will be glad when they have all done their bit [fed up].....

discoverlife, sounds like you may have cracked it! you do need to find something that will work for you longterm rather than shoehorning yourself into something that goes against the grain. i'm the opposite to you, i lurve the bread part

anyway today
brekkie....2 toast a nd marmite
lunch carrot and coriander soup, 2 slices bread
afternoon...hot cross bun
eve will be sausage and mash and onion gravy with veggies
