how exciting katy!

i am feeling good today because for the first time today i have noticed my muffin top is almost gone yayyyyy!!!!
just hope the ww scales tell the same story tonight lol!

Jahan · 11/02/2008 11:20

Lol discoverlife. Sorry but it is very funny!
Kety - sorry to hear your dh is being an arse. No need to apologise for venting. You just vent here whenever you need to. You must be feeling so proud of dd, though! Thats lovely.
Belcantavinissima - but thats great news! well done. You're doing brilliantly. Can't wait to say the same.
Fedda - I have just made some chunky soup for lunch for the next 3 days.

I had my induction at the gym on Sat. They did a very thorough fitness assessment too. I have a bmi of 30 () but a very good level of general fitness. Apparently my resting calorie burn is 1835 a day, which is interesting to know. Thats also about the amount of cals I need a day to lose weight (high due to bfing).

I went for a lovely long walk this morning and am now trying to get some housework done.

food diary;
muesli with yoghurt, coffee
homemade soup with a slice or 2 of homemade bread
pasta, pesto, veg
snacks - fruit, crackers

fedda · 11/02/2008 13:58

Excellent, Jahan. I was lazy today so fpr B. I had a sandwich with tea in a coffee shop and fpr L. shop bought 3 beans and lentils soup with fresh coriander + tea with jam, grapes, apple and lichey.

Wendyjayb · 11/02/2008 14:39

fedda · 11/02/2008 19:49

belcantavinissima · 11/02/2008 19:59

Jahan · 11/02/2008 20:59

Well done Bel! (may I call you Bel? your name is looong and I am tired). I reckon your dh is in for a lovely surprise! And new raunchy undies too! I reckon you're going to be burning a few more cals!

Well done Wendyjayb

Fedda - Evenings are my weak point too. We must be strong. There is no point in eating anything else. I am telling myself that I want to get into my size 12 jeans more than I want to comfort eat.

I shall have some green tea, though.

katylessbumpy · 11/02/2008 21:07

positive thinking jahan

i'm tired too, really want to sleep but my mind won't let me just yet.

i have only spoken to dh briefly today and he is on a late tonight so won't see him until probably dinnertime tomorrow.9grin0
i love him really but i do miss the nights i used to spend at my mums .we used to text each other all night lol but enjoyed being apart.

OP posts:
Jahan · 11/02/2008 21:24

I can't believe you walked for 5 hrs, Katy!
What physical challenge were you undertaking??

Jahan · 11/02/2008 21:26

I think time apart works wonders. People always need a bit of time and space for themselves too.Hopefully, you'll have a lovely dinner tomorrow night

fedda · 11/02/2008 21:29

i wish i liked green tea, it's so good for me but I just can't enjoy it no matter what. I'm afraid it's tea with milk or weak black tea with jam sweetened with grape juice instead of sugar. I'm also nursing the idea of having a baked egg now. i feel i need something, it's not comfort eating at the moment, I just need some food. I see if i can resist but if not, I'll try to have something i wouldn't feel bad about later. Well, is it positive thinking?

pollywobbledoodle · 11/02/2008 21:29

well done the losers!
katy...it's probably just bloat not lard (but have you taken that preg test yet?......can get preg even after tubes tied or whatever they do nowadays......i had to do a preg test last week as af suddenly disappeared...it was neg so i have to think that it is prob the onset of the menopause ....can't decide which is worse.....actually, listening to all the tales of sleep deprivation i can....roll on the saving of money on tampax!)
Sorry hubby is being an arse.....what's he doing?

bel...i see you baby, shaking that ass.....

today....ate in the garden in the suntrapwith dd .....did do other things as well, honest....

brekkie...2 crumpets and marmite
lunch....carrot and coriander soup, slice of bead. slice of cold choc fondue ...still it has gone now
eve......roast veg, bulgar wheat, 2 veg sausages

susiecutiemincepies · 11/02/2008 21:32

You know how these things go in peaks and troughs Katy. It will calm down again, and be fine. Of course you still love him. sometimes a bit of time and a little space is all you need. We all go through it. Dh and I don't seem to spend enough time together to actually get on each others nerves or fall out. the only thing we fall out about is him not being here, and being insensitive and thoughtless about how it effects me... though I suppose thats quite a big thing really!

so, got home late and Isobels bedtime routine took forever as I was so sore took me longer to do everything. She's gone to sleep now. I tried a new technique and it worked. I wont rejoice until i can do it in the middle of the night too.. and until we are 3 days down the line and seeing a HUGE improvement. But I will remain positive, and keep trying it.

Will tell you all about it, if you have the same probs as me wit ha LO not sleeping, or battling to go to sleep. Or, waking up in the night... for NO GOOD REASON!!!

Wont bore you otherwise!

katy sounds like a good idea, i'll be on the train first thing, you can have a nap in the afternoon first, then it's my turn... then you can get up first in the night, then It's my turn... out DD's will love it!!!

Went out for the day with mum today to see my big sis. was lovely to see her, and she is much better at the moment. good to see.

I'm just going ot have some baked beans on toast for a late tea. Other than that, i've not been too bad..
Slimfast for breakfast
Cheese and onion sarnie for lunch,
Baked beans for tea.
no norty snacks at all. actually, no snacks today!
oh and 2L of water.

pollywobbledoodle · 11/02/2008 21:32

sounds good fedda , don't let yourself get too hungry or, if you are anything like me, you'll empty the fridge

fedda · 11/02/2008 21:36

Yes, that's me. Now, where was my fridge?

pollywobbledoodle · 11/02/2008 21:39

did you eat it

katylessbumpy · 11/02/2008 21:42

i was shopping jahan but i walked there and back too.

i'm not pregnant polly.i'm wondering if i miscalculated my dates but i can't find my diary lol

dh is an arse because he drinks too much!he's great when he's sober but at social occasions he is a complete knob.he is quite shy so drinks to give him confidence.yesterday he was drinking as it was his birthday and the match was on.he didn't stop until he passed out on the chair at half past fucking 6!!!1

sorry but he works 5 nights a week and i don't want to spend the 2 nights he has off with him in a state!!! he thinks it's funny.
he doesn't have a drink problem just a problem staying awake after one to many.
it means i can't have a drink if we have friends round as he'll drink as much as he can (to be sociable!) and i have the responsibility of the dc.

i know he's a man but does he have to be so fucking selfish.

i like him whens he's had a couple of pints and he's being charming and funny.

it's when he feels he's celebrating that he's an arsehole.

sorry for the rant

i did think he had a drink problem as i have never been in a relationship with someone who drinks but i have come to the conclusion that it's just the way he is.

i've learnt to ignore him and it does only happen maybe once or twice a month but it really wound me up last night

pmt lol

OP posts:
susiecutiemincepies · 11/02/2008 21:52

Moan away Katy, like you always say to me, thats what we are here for you know

I had that problem with my ex husband. thats not why he's ex though... he decided his receptionist at work was a better option than me

Anyway, its sometime good to just have a good vent to thos who won't judge you for it, or remind you of it next time you're declaring how much you love him... ( we all have 'friends' who love to do this, i'm sure )

I enjoyed my beans on toast! really enjoyed them and feel so full!

fedda · 11/02/2008 21:53

I was going to eat it but I'm modest, you see, so I settled on two poched eggs.
