Nah, they dont effect me in that way Katy
please come down in the morning. you can have first sleep so long as i will get some sleep at some point!!

I am actually looking forward to thursday at the moment.. I know I will be allowed to have some sleep to recover!! he's on the night shift and day shift with Isobel for 5 days...

however, if things continue as well as tonight with the 'sleep training' then he will wander in, and get a full night sleep every night!! Will be sods law hey? oh, and don't forget the fact that she will be all unsettled and upset when he goes, so i'll have to start it again, no doubt

Jahan · 11/02/2008 22:12

Its good you have someone to talk/vent to, Katy.
Poached/boiled eggs aren't bad at all, Fedda.
I don't think I'll have lost any weight this week as wasn't too good over the weekend. I didn't eat regularly so got to the starving stage and just ate whatever (mostly chocolate and biscuits!)
I've been good today and will def. be good for the rest of the week. I'm hoping to go to the gym tomorrow and thurs eve if dh can get back at a decent hr!

pollywobbledoodle · 11/02/2008 22:12

one of my exes was like that....it always left me feeling on edge on/before social occasions....

it's really hard on you given how many waking hours you spend with the kids...does he realise how much you do or do you just absorb it?

anyway, rant away, no-one can be sunny all the time....

pollywobbledoodle · 11/02/2008 22:15

fedda....am on my 3rd fridge....

katylessbumpy · 11/02/2008 22:18

yeah thats how i feel polly ,on edge.

is he going to be a knob? will i have to make sure we avoid x,y,z? will an ex be there?
we went to see snow patrol when in was pg and he got that pissed he fell asleep!!
i just find it embaressing to be honest but his mates think he's a legend.
right i'm done now.how dare he ruin my evening when he's not even here!

anyone for a nork swing?

swing low........

oh and his arguement when he falls asleep is "i was tired" how does he think i feel

sweet chariot.....

susiecutiemincepies · 11/02/2008 22:35

night night Katy.
I ought to go myself. if i'm to have the stamina to do the sleep trainng in the night!

nice to see you both, like old times hey! I never seem to be online when anyone else is these days.

fedda · 11/02/2008 23:03

Yes, positive thinking but not positive doing. I've finished my snack - 2 soft boiled eggs with tea with 1 sugar and dry muesli.

discoverlife · 12/02/2008 02:18

Crikey, you lot go to bed early. No stamina these days, no stamina.
Righto Im off to bed to get up at 9am or there abouts.

MrsFish · 12/02/2008 07:34

Morning all.

Ds1 woke up at 7am today starving as he has hardly eaten anything since saturday and no amount of cajoling would let me lie in bed for a little bit longer ds2 is still asleep

I seem to miss all the fun as I go to bed so early I'm swinging my norks now though I'm hoping for a loss this week as I have upped the exercise again and cut down on the naughty snacks that you forget about (ie slice of cheese when making ds a sarnie etc)

Yesterday
B = 3 nimble and flora light
L = Veg soup, 1 roll and flora, 8oz pineapple, 1 bag of choc gems
T = Pasta with ham, leeks, peas and mushrooms and light philadelphia, choc mousse.

Today - not decided yet but will be mega good due to weigh in tomorrow

katy sorry hubby peed you off this week, mine did too due to drink, but really can't be bothered to talk about it
Bel well done on the weight loss and good luck with the undies
susie I hope you have the sleep sorted now then luckily I have never had a problem with ds1, he tells me when he wants to go to bed and doesn't get out of bed until we give him permission

katylessbumpy · 12/02/2008 08:01

7.30 AM possible a lie in!dd did wake up about 5 times last night but at least i wasn't up at sparrows fart.

i too am being extra, extra good today and only eating foods that are light.eg crackerbreads instead of potatoes.in my mind that will make me weigh less tomorrow

what has everyone got planned for today? the suns shining again

katylessbumpy · 12/02/2008 08:25

aaarggh my landlord is doing my head in.
he just texted me again to ask when i am getting the 6 months in advance rent sorted!!
i only paid 6 months in advance to secure the house.i will then be paying it monthly.i've paid upto the 11th of april ffs!!

OP posts:
MrsFish · 12/02/2008 08:37

I may attempt taking the two of them for a walk to the park today as I feel like it is going to be a frustrating day as ds1 is already annoying me

Plus its a bit of exercise and keeps me away from the fridge.

Jahan · 12/02/2008 09:45

Good morning.
It is soooo foggy here! I want some sunshine!

I am going shopping in a bit (ds1 in nursery so its easier!) to buy something nice for valentines meal

Does anyone do anything?
Thats all we do - just have a nice meal together. I am going to try a red snapper recipe from Madhur Jaffreys cookbook. Its baked so won't spoil my diet but looks yum!

belcantavinissima · 12/02/2008 10:10

mornigngirls

well i am knackered today- thanks to my new undies
these ones here with saucy ruffly knickers and stockings!

first time since we were married that i have felt remotely desirable- i reccomend them they will change your love life!

discoverlife · 12/02/2008 10:16

Good morning ladies, What a beeeyoootiful day out there. Blue skies, white with frost earlier but none now, the birds are singing, and I have the house pretty much to myself.
DH has taken DS2 with him on the train to get a new (secondhand) car and they will be gone for most of the day. DS1 is not likely to get out of bed much before 12 and then he will stay in his bedroom on his PC for a few hours, till he goes to work. So I can slob if I want, or get in the garden again (now what accident could befall me this time).
I think it has to be the garden again, it is drawing me, what wonderful weather. I think the shorts are coming out again. I have to start this early in the year with the shorts or my legs never tan, they just don't, its weird.

discoverlife · 12/02/2008 10:23

X post.
Oh la la Bel. They dont make it my size (shame). The last time I tried stockings they cut off the circulation in my legs. So when is the red outfit coming out.
I used to have (in my slimmer days) a tiny little baby doll knighty with matching knickers that I had for about 10 years, although in use numerous times (at least once a week) we figured out it was only ever on my body for a total of 2 hours in the whole 10 years. it was a wonder it never got ripped off.
I wonder if I can persuade DS1 to bugger off for a night or two next week? NO DS2 as he is at his Grans, and we have a log fire, I havn't had a canoodle in front of a blazing fire in years. It isn't the lack of desire most of the time, I think its the lack of time/energy to make it fun again, that is the problem with Mums and their libido.

belcantavinissima · 12/02/2008 10:28

for me there is nothing less conducive to a night (ok maybe an hour or two who am i kidding?!!!) of passion than spending the evening in seperate rooms, me watching eastenders and him watching a dvd in another room. he wonders why i'm never in the mood!!!!! am making him take me out at the weekend !

discoverlife · 12/02/2008 10:34

We sit at seperate computers all night. Same feeling. Men do expect us to be horny at the flick of a switch don't they.
