Actually 'sloshed in.... LOL.

susiecutiemincepies · 10/02/2008 16:46

Awww, Discoverlife, I think you have been spending too much time around me poppet. I"m usually the clumsy/ accident prone one... the most in the world I'm sure of it.

Only this week ( thursday actually) I was trying to drag the pram up the steps outside. I though I was at the top and stepped as though I was, turned out I had another step to go. I went arse over tit landing on my replaced hip. I've been in agony ever since and look like i've been kicked by a horsey.

Last time I had an accident with steps, also not too long ago, it was totally the opposite. I was coming down stairs at my friends house. I thought I had one more step.. I didnt. so i stepped really hard to go 'down' and jarred my back horrendously. Had to ^ the pain killers for three weeks following that one.

GOsh, I hope you are ok, except maybe your pride? naughty DH... although, it is a leeetle bit amusing? >

belcantavinissima · 10/02/2008 18:24

b- muesli

Discoverlife - thats hilarious!! sorry to laugh, but its almost Bridget jones isn;t it!!
Beats my silly story..... i drove ds, dh and mum to Audley End yesterday, although we have a satnav my dh decided to talk most of the journey so it was a bit hard to hear some of the directions so we ended up taking a bit of a long way round ot get there. Once we did, the car park was on the grass, some pars of which were very muddy... well as i tried to park the car i ended up in a mud spot and couldn;t get out.
DH ended up trying to push the car out of the mud but as the wheels spun he just got covered in mud.. then a nice man came over to help.... i covered him too!
We eventually made it out of the mud, but the car is drenched in mud!!
EVERYONE just stared at me as i got out of the car giving me that 'oh its a woman driver, what did you expect' stare!!

Vowed next time dh would drive!

Thanks for the encouragement Katylessbump. I'll keep going. WW worked for me a few years ago.. lost 3 stone. This time around it just seems harder, but i'm sure i'll get there again.

fedda · 10/02/2008 19:27

Hi, everybody. I've tried my best today and I'll try my best tomorrow. Positive thinking, Katy.

discoverlife · 10/02/2008 20:29

What a day!

both boys have been out of sorts and whining and crying all day, ds1 has been poorly but made a miraculous recovery after 10ml of medised, ds2, god knows what has been wrong with him, but he has been annoying all day, only shutting up when I am giving him one on one attention, but I can't do that all day Plus annoyed that dh got so wasted last night whilst visiting a friend, he didn't get home till 2pm and has then been moaning about being hungover all afternoon, this weekend has been a complete washout I have hardly seen him and the boys have totally worn me out. I took myself out to the cross trainer to get rid of some frustration and did half an hour

I am sitting here and my tummy is rumbling despite having had cottage pie and veg for tea, I have been in the kitchen 3 times scavenging already, luckily there is nothing at hand to eat as the shopping doesn't get delivered till tomorrow, so I am about to go to bed before I crack open the icecream and ds's choc buttons

pollywobbledoodle · 10/02/2008 20:48

pollywobbledoodle · 10/02/2008 20:48

pollywobbledoodle · 10/02/2008 21:00

fedda · 10/02/2008 21:07

pollywobbledoodle, the more you move it, the easy it will be.

pollywobbledoodle · 10/02/2008 21:16

it moves all on its own fedda....but i should add to the wobble

better go and talk to dh , he has man flu and is heading for an early night

discoverlife · 10/02/2008 21:22

Bigggg bruise just starting to bloom on the inside of my thigh. WTF I didn't do the splits or anything like that, everything but, but not the splits. Its bloody painful and its making me walk like John Wayne.

fedda · 10/02/2008 21:35

Oh, no!

susiecutiemincepies · 10/02/2008 21:48

Hoiking yourself over the fence maybe? they can be sore those kinds of bruise.

I"m only just about to have my dinner.

Isobel is just not herself at the moment, and is not settling, or sleeping or anyhitng without a battle. I think its teeth. Im sure it is. I am just praying that she is not awake at 3 am tonight for 2 - 3 hours again. We are going to see my sister tomorrow down in kent so could do wit not being so tired...

SO my dinner?

Roast chicken legs, quinoa, roasted carrots, parsnips onion, leek and a good sprinkle of various seeds and a bit of honey. Manly sesame seeds and sunflower, but htere are some pumpkin, linseed and flax in there too.

pudding will be some low fat natural yoghurt with some of the same seeds from above. oh and a large glass of white wine.

fedda · 10/02/2008 22:58

Oh, it sounds divine! i just had my potato cakes which I made yesterday for kids (they had some but left the others so I just couldn't through them, stupid old me) with tea and jam and clementins. Too much food today. Must have a better day tomorrow.

discoverlife · 10/02/2008 23:01

DS1 has just come in from work, and given me a box of chocs to 'help me feel better'. Isn't that sweet.

Can I kill him slowly as well?

fedda · 10/02/2008 23:09

He ment well and it's Valentine's coming up. Give him a nice kiss and a chocolate and have one, it wouldn't hurt. Have a nice thingy in bed and it will burn off all the colouries

fedda · 10/02/2008 23:10

I ment a nice thingy with your DH!

discoverlife · 10/02/2008 23:12

LOL. fedda.

fedda · 10/02/2008 23:14

You can tell I'm tired! Don't read the messages properly. I need to take myself off computer. My DH sees third dream already and I'm still here. Next thing I know I'll reach for some food.
