katy - I can't believe you can function on so little sleep I was in bed by 10.30 and up at 6.20 with ds2 and I still feel knackered

Polly - let me know how your surgery goes, I think I am going to have to go that route at some point bloody kids!

Fedda - I keep seeing you say you have jam in your tea, never ever heard that one before but then again I love cottage cheese and jam on toast and hot water on cornflakes and weetabix

I'm off out for a nice long walk this morning and if dh ever gets up I was going to have half an hour on the cross trainer too, seeing as he got back so late last night I didn't get chance. Think I may go and wake him up seeing as he is off to see a friend tonight so that will be two nights on the trot of having to deal with both boys for bed and getting up early in the morning. Mind you I am dumping the boys on him for a good few hours today to have some 'me' time

katylessbumpy · 09/02/2008 08:27

i'd love a lie in mrsfish but dh works until midnight 5 nights a week so he gets to stay in bed.

i just got used to less sleep.it is more than i used to get as dd only wakes up once or twice a night now instead of the 10 + she was doing a couple of months ago.

i'm going for a long walk today too.the weather is beautiful here, just got to get the boy's up,give them breakfast and pack them off to football, then wake up dh ,wish him happy birthday ,tidy up,sort out the washing, have a shower..........

think i'm going to be busy and dh is back at work at 3pm so i'll be on my bod with the dc again.

OP posts:
katylessbumpy · 09/02/2008 09:24

ok washings on,one load already done ,all 3 dc up ,washed ,dressed, breakfasted and ready to go.dh up ,coffee made, happy birthday sung, pressies opened,dh taking dc to football and then calling in on his mum so i get a bit of peace.dd staying with me though as she won't go anywhere without me
so i'm going to have my breakfast and then go for a lovely long walk

Hi everyone,

Katy I can't survive without my sleep you deserve a medal! Can't you do what we do on weekends? I usually go back to bed on a saturday (i get up first with dc's today and go back to bed then we swap for tomorrow) mind you i've got so much to do today and i need dp to help and he wants to watch footy at 12.30, dd1 wants me to take her into town, dd2 (who is only 2) is mentioning the wacky and daddy taking her to the slides (news to dp!) I've got lots of shopping and planning to do for half term week including sorting the garden a bit, putting an extra seat in my car and finding a car seat for my new mindee. Also my aunties have travelled down for the weekend and my mum is working nights and sleeping days so can't spend much time with them so I need to see them at some point too, got loads of washing to do too. I just have no idea where to start tbh! Might start with a list!

I'm also thinking if i cant egt rid of my tummy in the next few years I should start saving for a tummy tuck though my auntie had one and hers got infected so it is drastic! I have had a breast reduction though, when i was 21 seriously one of the best decisions i've made!

Fedda - I've never heard of jam in tea, how does that work then? Is it less in sugar?

Jahan - maybe if i was a coffee drinker i'd be more motivated to do my list, might have a coffee and see!

Polly - 5yrs with no new underwear is shocking, you deserve to treat yourself!

Mrs F enjoy your me time! (I'll be having some of that next week when i spend all day cleaning after the kids have trashed the house this week - have decided I will not let the mess bother me, i'm quite a clean freak but with so many kids in the house I know theres no point worrying about it best just to ignore it and do it all at the weekend! I will tidy as i go though )

ME23 - How's it going?

I had chocolate last night and a glass of wine with diet lemonade - that's my treat for losing 3lbs now i'm back to working hard i'm aiming for 3lbs at least this week too and if i can achieve it whilst having 2 naughty days with proffiteroles and cheesecake i can do it on a week when i'll be running round after 6 kids and I'll be too busy to snack!! Plus 2 of my mindee's have given up chocolate and biscuits for lent so I won't be tempted!!

katylessbumpy · 09/02/2008 10:02

lovemygirls,i love the idea of going back to bed but once i'm up i'm up iykwim
dd has just fell asleep over my shoulder so i get to sit down and recharge.

your week sounds mega hectic.i always said i would love to have my (.)(.) done.they aren't massive just saggy.dh say's the springs have gone lol
