Hi, always struggled with drastic plans so decided to take it a bit slow. Aim for this week is to up fruits and veg, I realise i have had days lately with 0 or 1 :( so target is 3 per day, not great, but more manageable. And start exercising softly at least twice.
Looking at it written it doesn't sound much but at least it's not scary .
Thanks for this thread by the way, lots of good thoughts and ideas and support.

weigh-in again on Monday!! Let’s keep going and say no to temptation. What’s better, the taste of that food or how skinny feels? (That’s what I keep asking myself before I reach for the justeat app!)

Sorry I've not been on here for a while. I've returned because dd has been away at her nannas this week and I've taken stock. My tummy is looking awful and my thighs I've not liked for ages. I've been to the gym twice and I'm feeling good. I've got a new dress for the Xmas party in about five weeks and it looks ok but could look better if I lost half a stone. Does anyone have any tips please xx

Also when dd usually goes away myself and DH just eat takeaway but he has been cooking so I feel like I'm in a good headspace and hopefully can help some of u too Smile

Diets just don't work for me, I lose weight so slowly that I just can't stay motivated. However what I am doing at the moment seems to be working for me. I have lost 6lbs in about 6 weeks, hoping to have a stone off by Xmas, 3 by the summer. 🤞
My regime, such as it is, is that i put off breakfast (tea and toast) as long as possible, usually eat it between 11 and 12, but if I can wait longer I do. Then around 4pm I have a bowl of homemade veg soup, if I am really hungry I might have a banana too, so quite limited calories during the day. For dinner I eat normally, fish and chips, pizza, a roast, stew whatever the family is having. I was tested yesterday as my dd has moved back home from abroad and we were up at all hours, everyone else had massive breakfast rolls but I resisted! Today is ds's birthday, we are going out to eat and I have made a chocolate cake so today is definitely a write off!

5ft 4 and as of this morning 11st 13lbs! DS2 was born in March 2021 and I was up at 15st 7lbs - the weight has been slowly coming off and I was very excited to drop below the 12st barrier this morning!!

I'm doing a combination of IF and CC but not very strictly (I use my fitness pal religiously for a day or two and then give up 🤦🏻‍♀️). I also joined the gym 2 months ago .. and have not yet been!

I am getting married next year and really want to be within a healthy BMI for it. Pre children I always hovered between 11st4-11st8 but I wasn't ever really happy at that weight so would like to push myself to lose a bit more.

This thread is inspiring me to up my effort, get to the gym and get serious about CC to reach my goals!!

Hi - would like to join too please and hold myself accountable - hope thats ok?

I have 2 ND teenagers at home with a tendency towards restricted eating, so I need to be careful about my approach. But inspired by deadringer’s ideas I can see that I can cc for around 1500 a day and we can still eat our usual evening meals together and they are not likely to notice I am on a diet - fingers crossed.

have made a simple plan and feeling really positive about making some good changes - hooray!

No weigh in for me today, I ate rings around myself this weekend! I reckon I am a couple of pounds up, but I am back to 'normal' today. Onwards and upwards!

Weighing in at exactly the same as last week!! Suppose that's good. Currently have a horrible ear infection so that has killed my appetite for the past few days.
Will do a yoga tonight for pain/ear pressure and just to keep moving. Hoping antibx kick in so I can go to the gym tomorrow and lift some weights - saw a really motivating tiktok of a lass who lost weight sustainably and her gym routine, nothing too crazy, she Just Does It. All about consistency!!

First weigh in today, no change from last week. This is actually very good since the plan was to take it slow and at least I stopped the upward trend, even with a couple of really cheesy days. Aim for next week is to keep increasing fruits and veg intake x

Oh godddddd I don't know what I'm doing. I'm trying to cut down on sugar and processed foods - all that has happened is that I'm eating a shed load of cheese followed by a sea of full fat greek yogurt 😭 feel destined to be overweight forever

I gained 1lb this week, eating out at a restaurant started it and I'm yet to get back into it. But I'm still 2lb down so I'm still happy!

Hi all

Mind if I join? I'm 5ft 4 I started losing weight August/September 2021. I started at 17st 3lbs, when I got a bout of food poisoning which helped with the first stone coming off 😂 I've slowly been losing weight since and down to 12st 12lbs at the moment, very much plateauing

Would love to be down to 10st 6lbs, I'm not entirely sure I'll ever get there, but not gonna get there if I don't try

Very much hold my weight on my tummy and arms, so going down dress sizes seems to be incredibly slow
Ideally I would like to get to target weight this time next year as I know it'll take longer to get this next 2 and a half stone off than the first few. Praying I don't get a load of loose skin

please can I join? I weighed in at 13 stone today and I’m 5ft4, I would like to be around 10 stone. I’m calorie counting via nutracheck and would like to be around 10 stone by next Easter ideally! But would be happy at 11

Antibs deffo kicked in, ear has less extreme pain now. Never had an ear infection before and this has floored me, sooooooo painful.
However, all I've been able to keep down with nausea from the abx is carbs, carbs and more carbs.. It's like being pregnant again 😫 Going to shops tomorrow for probiotics and LOADS of veggies and fruit.
