Me!!! I used to always be 10 stone but covid and my 30s mean im now bigger than I have ever been!

I want to get down to 12.5 stone by Christmas then get back to 10 stone by my birthday in may.

Plan is 1000-1200 calories a day, weights at the gym, walking 10,000 steps a day and giving up the weekend wine!!

Is it too late to join please? I am 5ft 4, 14 st well my DD is 17 now so I have no excuse other than I am now peri menopausal and recently started HRT gels. I am struggling with motivation to do anything, lose weight cooking all of it. Started slimming world local group everyone losing weight I am putting in pounds instead- I really need to do something I also suffer from long covid- that out of breath situations keep coming back 😫

Been on a long dog walk this morning (10k steps done) and will be jumping on exercise bike later

He’s just ordered us a McDonald’s so I’m not hopeful for tomorrow 😂 but even if it’s bad news, it should be a kick up my backside from the embarrassment of posting it on here lol!!

I’ve ordered a wrap meal so I’m trying to make a healthier choice… But does include fries 🤣 🤣

I've not had the best weekend tbh as had family down, had a lovely roast dinner today (guess it's full of veg though 😆) and pizza on Saturday but did lots of walking so hoping it's not too bad. Back on it tomorrow though, going to prep my breakfast and lunch now so I can just grab and eat. Got a dress to fit into in 4 weeks time that's slightly too tight at the min - that's my first mini goal!

I have a large glass of wine on the go which I am trying to sip slowly.
It's utter stupidity as I will have drunk back the 450 cals burnt on the bike. Oh well at least I burnt them before drinking the wine I guess.

Just had a shopping delivery and they have subbed my meringue nests for trifle sponges 😂 not sure how they will work crumbled into my yoghurt but hey ho I'll give it a go ...

@Wingingit11 you've got this! Drink loads of water to fill you up and try walking as much as you can. I’m finding boredom eating hard, so if anyone has any tips on distracting themselves from snacking, I’d appreciate it!

I often think about why I’m so fat nowadays as did contemplate saxenda but realised I basically binge when not even hungry and think it’s triggered by stress. It’s tricky having kids isn’t it as pre kids I’d just not buy snacks but now I feel I have to have some but I just eat them. !

A way to go but 1lb down on last week

This week's goals:
1500 cals per day
Exercise bike minimum 4 days - 12miles/450cal per session
15000 steps on non bike days

I would like to lose at least half a stone by Christmas
