It would appear that all I do is stuff my face with crap, lots of crap.

I'm going to try and sort myself out, starting tomorrow.

I'm scared, I'm useless at dieting but it's getting serious. I'm so unhappy, I caught sight of myself in the window walking past Costa coffee today. It was grim.

Anyone want to join me?

I'd like to lose a stone by Christmas. (How many years have I been saying that ? Insert Easter, Summer etc, you get the picture.)

I weigh 19st 10lbs, I'm 5ft 3 and a half inches tall. I should be no more than 10st 1lb.

I'm loosely following the Fast 800 plan which is very good.

Breakfast was 150g smoked salmon which I dressed with lemon juice and freshly ground black pepper. I had one slice of wholegrain toast with cream cheese and 1 teaspoon st dalfour marmalade. Tea with semi skimmed milk.

Mid morning snack was a 250g tub of full fat cottage cheese and four 'lunch bakes' whole grain crisp breads.

Lunch will be Fast 800 recipe pesto beans with parma ham

Tea is Tikka chicken there's a nice Fast 800 recipe, but I've gone, 'old school' and chopped up a red onion, added other flavourings, added it to two chicken breasts which I'll bake for 40 mins. I won't have any rice with it, but I will have some onion salad and some full fat Greek Yoghurt.

I'll go for a walk later if the rain eases off.

I'll have a modest Lindor chocolate bar this evening with a cup of tea. Like I said, I'm loosely following Fast 800.

I lost three and a half pounds last week. Well, after the previous week's holiday and a weekend at home where we continued to celebrate a milestone birthday,
re-starting the diet and fitness regime was called for !

I've calculated my BMI on the NHS BMI calculator which is 48.9. It should be 25 to 30.
Recommended daily calorie intake:
2072 - 2664 kcal
To lose 1-2lbs a week stick to the lower end of the range.

I spoke to a gym near to where I work today. I was completely honest and said that I’m clueless and a bit scared. I’m going in to meet them in a couple of weeks.

@ofHardey I did 2 miles but will go out again later. I figured that I could put on a wash, walk, come back and stick on another 😂

Boots Spicy Bean and Cheese wrap 466 calories
Walkers Cheese and Onion crisps 164 calories
4,261 steps so far today

last night ended up having 2 plums, and some Tony Chocolonely milk crispy wafer (end of bar) chocolate.

Am thinking of subscribing to Peleton.

Well. Today DH took the kids to school and brought me back pancakes from McDonalds. Which I ate with maple syrup. Sigh. Yesterday was ok though. I'm trying to cut myself a bit of slack as we are all getting over Covid - barely any shopping in the house, I need to go today and stock up on healthy stuff!

What works for me is to enjoy the treat, then plan some soups or other low calories meals for that day or next to keep it under control

Today I am stuck away from home till 9 pm due to train strikes. I have walked less, around 40 min total again, due to changes in transport.
I had a Greggs ham and cheese toastie, with orange juice and a donut instead of my nice healthy pre-ptepared dinner!

So I will have to compensate tomorrow.
Going to have a stroll around the shops while I wait to burn some extra calories!

Not been here for a few days. It's been busy. Just had pie and chips for tea completely forgetting about being healthy. Had book club last night so tea in the pub🤦🏻‍♀️. Sorry

I'm still in! It's chucking it down here so only did a quick half hour walk but that's more than I would normally have done. Normally I'd have not ventured out in the rain BlushI also couldn't help a quick weigh this morning even though I'd planned on doing it weekly. I'm now 12st 1 so have lost a pound since we started

Wet here too but I went for an hour's walk with a friend at lunchtime. It was a bit stop start as we kept having to wait for her dog to come back to us. 30 mins on the cross trainer this morning and a Pilates class this evening.
Food hasn't been bad but nor has it been good. Fasted until midday when I had a baked sweet potato with feta and a lot of rocket. I've just had butternut squash and green beans in a Thai green sauce for tea. In between, there was a lot of grazing as I nibbled away at fruit, salty popcorn, some crackers & some cheese and then a bit more cheese. I did keep away from sugar and, other than the popcorn, the ultra processed rubbish.

I went to the gym again today, I am aiming to lose 1lbs a week. So far I’m on track! I haven’t had the best dinners two nights in a row and this morning I had a big bowl of krave…. But I still am weighing slightly less than what I was weighing two days ago. I am trying to up my exercise every day as well. Good luck everyone, we can do this!

Identical stats to you @Poppyrose22 - 175cm tall & 84.4kg. Aiming for 78kg by Christmas & 70kg longer term.

Woke up late so breakfast was a coffee, lunch was a big salad bowl from work & dinner was salmon with broccoli and pea/sweetcorn. Also had half a muffin split with DS.

WFH tomorrow so that will be a challenge for avoiding snacking. Thinking Greek yoghurt & fruit then soup for lunch and enchiladas for tea. I’m also attempting to fit in a 25 min yoga class tomorrow too

I've recently gained a lot. I don't know how much as I dare not weigh myself. --

I had a gynae op in May and started HRT afterwards and it's taken a while for me to get to know my new cycle and hormonal-- peaks and troughs.

I'm blaming this for my cravings and insatiable appetite as I don't know what else it could be def not me being a greedy pig every night watching telly stuffing biscuits

I feel so uncomfortable with this spare tyre and I know it's only gonna get worse if I don't sort it now.

Let's do this together!

Trying to resist the urge to snack right now after a light dinner...my teens have just cooked garlic bread and it smells delicious....help!
Looking through this thread for meal inspiration.
Only had a short dog walk today so could do with a bit more exercise but food wise I've been good.
Yesterday had good exercise day no breakfast , small lunch, no snacks but went out for dinner as it was our anniversary and just as well I haven't much idea of calorie content as I probably had 2 days calories in one meal!
But on my successful days eating less actually makes me feel better (when hunger pangs have subsided anyway! )
Going to try and keep going , feel like a novice as mostly no idea about all these apps, diets, abbreviations I see mentioned on this thread are.
Just trying to cut down on what I eat and move more and hope for the best.

Really impressed with the exercise regimes. I’m just dog walking but need to try to up my game a bit.
have eaten roughly 1400 calories today, which is what I was aiming for, and no unhealthy snacks.

@ofHardeywell done! I did 13763 steps and only two loads of laundry! Must try harder! I do have an appointment to view a gym though so I’ve thought about exercise.

Sorry had a mad few days! I have been trying to ensure I eat before the DC go to bed as had slipped into that routine of waiting then not eating till half 8/9 which is never good. So far so good 🤞

Morning all, it's lovely to read up on all of your progress. Well done for sticking with the plan.

I have been very good on the food front. Not so good on any proper exercise mainly down to lack of time.

I have the dentist at 9 which I'm not looking forward to at all.
