It would appear that all I do is stuff my face with crap, lots of crap.

I'm going to try and sort myself out, starting tomorrow.

I'm scared, I'm useless at dieting but it's getting serious. I'm so unhappy, I caught sight of myself in the window walking past Costa coffee today. It was grim.

Anyone want to join me?

Weigh day tomorrow.

So kind of stuck to plan today. Had chicken terrine and pigeon breasts for lunch, 2 glasses of wine, and skipped dinner. Tomorrow is challenging as I’m travelling for work. Will have to be the Tupperware queen.
so my starting weight is 12stone 7. I’d like to be 11 stone by December 1.

Hi, I’m an inch shorter, but like you have watched to weight creep on and want to lose a stone by Christmas!

i also have nutracheck- I’m doing slimming world (at home with an old book I found online) but am using nutracheck to just keep me in order a bit.

Had my first pint of water of the day, now on black coffee.
Plan is to fast till 12.15 the tuna salad, yogurt and fruit for lunch.
Not sure on dinner yet, the cupboards are a bit bare so I need to shop. I think it might be quorn chilli if I can prep it at lunchtime.
I'm keeping my steps high, and my heel isn't too bad which is great.

Morning y'all !

wow well it's absolutely chucking it down here (north west), and I have had the roughest night of sleep in the history of mankind. It was so HOT, dh was snoring, and I hopped from one bed to another (my dcs) until at 4am I couldn't handle it anymore and ran back to my own at which point I would have slept on train tracks if I had to 😂

Sooo the scheduled (virtual) walk today @TabithaTittlemouse... are we still on? I'm having a coffee and psyching myself up like a boxing coach that is aware his guy is almost against the ropes 😂

Morning all, today I’m off to counselling with my youngest, I have put a patch on and quit smoking, I’ve planned a day of just putting better food in, walking more, drinking more water and not snacking.
I can’t stand breakfast so

lunch - tuna sandwich on nimble
dinner - Spanish chicken with rice and veg
not sure if I’ll have a small something else, but counting on nutracheck so we’ll see

Is today your first day of quitting smoking? Well done on quitting.

I quit a couple of months back, my dentist scared the hell out of me as smoking was wrecking my gums and teeth.

Well. Today DH took the kids to school and brought me back pancakes from McDonalds. Which I ate with maple syrup. Sigh. Yesterday was ok though. I'm trying to cut myself a bit of slack as we are all getting over Covid - barely any shopping in the house, I need to go today and stock up on healthy stuff!

That's ok! It's not feasible to not eat anything tasty ever again. Don't wreck the whole day for one meal, it's like getting a flat tyre and then stabbing the other 3 Grin

I didn't have a brilliant day yesterday so am aiming for no rubbishy snacks today and logging everything on Noom,

Well I am back from my rainy walk and I loved it, so very refreshing and 3 miles clocked.

Picked up some breakfast bits on the way back so will make myself a nice healthy breakfast now. After that I plan to have a bubble bath and finish my book in the bath 😍

Back on track-ish! Two sugared black coffees first thing. Just had black bean salsa topped with boiled egg for brunch. Later I'll have 'bolognese' with some leftover potatoes. A sweet flatbread or apple + peanut butter as backup if required.

(Quotes so's not to offend any custodians of authentic cuisine :)

@HairyKnobsAndBroomsticks first day today, did give up for over 3 months at beginning of year then slipped back into it again. I actually didn’t smoke for over 10yrs, but then started again a couple of hrs back and it’s just so hard to stop.. especially already so overweight and scared I’ll put more on 🙈
and yep dentist for me too, my gums are starting to recede, which freaked me out, so on top of cholesterol I know I have to stop!

I used the patches last time and they were really good. I might have shot myself in the foot a bit today, the idea was tackling weight and smoking all at once, but I’m already pacing! I’m determined to stop, but also determined to get at least a stone off to get back into my ‘fat clothes’ for Xmas! So hopefully I’ll keep going. If not I’ll get a week of better eating underway. We’ll see, just keeping on trying at this point hoping one day it will all stick!
